I was looking forward to this place as it looks like a lively crowd, especially walking in. We were…read moreseated right next to the kitchen and bar station, which is never appealing to begin with. At the same time in my head, I was thinking well...we will probably get the best service. Boy was I wrong. The service was atrocious. We actually had to go up and refill our own waters because we couldn't get our server at our table. I almost felt sorry for her as it appeared her section was completely across the other side of the restaurant and they must've just thrown her our table since it was close to the bar. Please note that we made dinner reservations a week in advance, which most people are walk-ins. When we finally did get drinks that another server came over to deliver, he seemed like it was his first day as he was having a hard time setting them down. None of the drinks were full. It looked like they all had several sips taken out of them. I don't know about you, but that's not typically how I have received cocktails in a martini glass before. Then it was time for entrées. We ordered appetizers, the shrimp cocktail, soup, and the tuna tartare. All of them turned out pretty good so I was hopeful. Then the entrées came. I had the seafood risotto which I was very much looking forward to. It was greasy and cold. I don't know about you, but I like my risotto warm. My friend had a simple chicken Caesar salad and the lettuce was wilted and the chicken was barely cooked. Needless to say, we were very disappointed with our meal. At this point, you could tell the staff knew we were not happy when we were having to get up and get her own waters. There was conversation amongst them looking over at our table so we started getting a bit more attention. Our server came over and would act like nothing was ever wrong. There was no apology necessary apparently. When we went to pay the bill, the only option on there is 20% plus for gratuity. So I guess she gets 20% for lack of service. We definitely will not be back. We did, however, go to Saint urban which is a sister property right next-door afterwards for drinks. The wine was a couple dollars cheaper and yeah, ambience was way better. Not to mention the service. I can't wait to go back and eat there. So I guess in summary the restaurant group will still come out ahead as I will be dining at their other properties but this one I will not be back.

You were a little nervous because it looked really packed but the Plaza had plenty of restaurants. So we thought we'll go in and try it out, so it was very busy on a Friday night but they were able to set us down within a few minutes. We got a great parking spot. The hostess set us down immediately. We ordered the ribs and glass of wine, the fried fish, and the butter cake for Desert Our whole dinner experience. It was probably an hour tops. Which was fine because we were hungry. The ribs came out so fast. And my Husbands fish came out immediately. After. And the ribs were super tender. Came with a side of onion rings. My Husbands fish and chips was a fillet portion of fish and reasonable amount of steak fries with the tiny portion of coleslaw and tartar sauce. It was very very good food. The wine was fine. Our service was very fast, but but good. I was given a nice warm hand towel to clean my hands. If I wanted to use my fingers to eat my food. Which was nice, but butter cake was absolutely delicious. Came with a huge portion of ice cream. I had leftovers which was boxed for me, which I love that. The prices were very reasonable. I thought we would absolutely go back if we were in the area. The ambience is very nice like every Scott restaurant. I would definitely give it a try if you're in the area.

You can taste the difference when everything coming out of the kitchen is made in-house. The happy hour and lunch drink specials have a nice kick to them--nothing over the top, just well done and fairly priced. It fits the vibe of the place perfectly. Now, I'll be honest--my personal weakness here is the creamy coleslaw. It's that good. I'm talking "I could eat a full dinner plate of it and call it a meal" good. Not many places get coleslaw right... they do. Service matters, and we've found our spot with Holly's section. She strikes that perfect balance--attentive, keeps things moving, but never hovering or interrupting. That's harder to find than people think. Bottom line: Village Tavern is one of those dependable, comfortable places you keep coming back to. Good food, honest atmosphere, and service that makes the whole experience easy.

4/9/26 First visit thx to reviews by Yelp friend @Denise M…read more We were meeting friends in Scottsdale and used Elite Yelp reviews for ideas. Reservations 5/5 Easily made reservations for 4 within Yelp via Resy. Quick with confirmation text verifications. Parking 5/5 Easy parking in large semi private parking lot. Easily found a spot in time for our 11:15 reservation. Ambiance 8/5 The Resturant is an upscale South West lodge themed atmosphere utilizing colors, with subdued lighting. It is warm, upscale and inviting. Their use of dark wood beams, architectural elements, great artwork scaled to spaces and the use of wagon wheel ceiling light fixtures is the finishing touch of a truly beautiful restaurant and dining experience. Service 5/5 Arturo was our server today. He joined us shortly after being seated and placed our black Berry tea and starter order. We ordered the crispy Brussels to shard wile chatting. Arturo spent time with great detail about our menu interests, down to acidity. How many times have you asked a server a question about the menu and they've never tried it. Arturo enjoys his job possesses Maitre'd knowledge of the Village Tavern offerings. Food 5/5+ Our friend's entrees were amazing looking chicken Salads and we both ordered their Prime rib medium rare, green beans and Garlic mashed potatoes. My apologies for not capturing entrees as conversation with friends ruled our gathering. Just know all entrees ordered were well plated which excited the pallet before touching any flatware. Yes unicorns and rainbows. The Prime rib was perfectly cooked, green beans as hoped for and the scratch garlic Mashed were savored. Portions are generous. I'm glad we made it to the village tavern it was everything I had expected and then some. Seating in the fireplace dining room space will delight not matter the season. Bar meet-ups, date nights, dinner with friends you won't be disappointed. Eat well my friends-SYOY!

I'm moving in !!! I…read morethought I had seen it all as far as fitness and health and wellness spaces but I was wrong , so wrong . Okay... I had heard about The Hive in another city and finally made the trek over while in Scottsdale -- honestly not even sure what to expect. Gym? Recovery lounge? Wellness spa? We low-key expected a hole-in-the-wall situation... absolutely not. This place is straight-up luxury. Think elite fitness club meets high-end wellness center with a super cool aesthetic, moody lighting, multiple curated spaces, café vibes, retail, recovery zones -- the whole experience feels intentional and elevated from the moment you walk in. And it's not just trendy wellness fluff either -- they've got legit medical-grade recovery tech (PEMF, HOCATT, hormone replacement therapy, vagus nerve treatments ,therma lounge , many advanced therapies beyond your typical IV drip setups). The gym itself? Top-tier imported Panatta equipment from Italy -- serious fitness folks know how rare that is even in bougie gyms. Towels already placed on cardio machines, never overcrowded, thoughtful details everywhere. Add in açaí bowls, protein shakes, wellness services, retail... it's honestly next-level. Bonus: they offer a 7-day pass which makes it easy to experience everything. Came curious, left impressed -- definitely one of the most elevated fitness/wellness spaces I've visited.
