Becks billiards disassembled, moved and assembled a pool table I bought off Craigslist. They were professional and informative. Did an excellent job with my new used pool table! Have been enjoying the table everyday!

I have used All Star Pools twice for moving our pool table from one to place another. The first…read moremove was from when we originally bought the pool table and the most recent (2 years ago) I had All Star move our pool table into our garage because of our house being remodeled. Yesterday, I used a different reputable pool company called Prestige and I hired them to re-felt our table. Our table for the last two years had a bump in it by the middle pocket and didn't feel like having to pay for it to be re-felted. After Prestige came to our house and started to take apart our table, Kevin the owner of Prestige, realized that the middle slate piece that was bumpy was broken and looked to be "fixed" or "repaired". Basically it was covered in tape and glued. I was told by Kevin that it had to happen during the last move and he asked me who did the move. I told him All Star Pools. I guess All Star Pools broke my slate ($800 value) when they moved it last and decided to cover it up. It was very obvious that it had tape on both sides of the slate to be patched. It was not even secured down by the screw as I was told by All Star the reason why they didn't put in a secure screw was because it was broke. I called Jake at All Star and he basically denied even knowing me at first. After several minutes in the phone he said it was not their fault and he didn't remember me. I just gave up. During my phone conversation with Jake, Kevin from Prestige heard my entire phone conversation with Jake and he truly was disgusted with the customer service and how Jake spoke to me! Within 5 minutes of my call with Jake, I received another call from one of his employees and he basically told me he was the one that moved my pool table and he remembered me. He proceeded to tell me that he told me it was "cracked" and he taped it for the move. He also said I told him to just felt right over the crack. By the way it not a hairline crack but an actual break of two separate pieces. See pics. Prestige told me talked to Jake and that they are not going to do anything. Kevin from Prestige was surprised by the crappy customer service and them blaming me for the break. Kevin actually told me that the only way the slate could could break would be from install error. Don't use All Star Pools!!! They don't care about your stuff and the care of your pool table. It cost me over $800 to replace the slate and I feel I should not of been responsible for that. I would have been happy even if All Star would have offered to pay for half but they didn't. I don't like writing reviews but I feel people should be made aware of the type of company they are and how they treat their customers!!! By the way, Prestige told me that they refer All Star for their customer over flow but now he is not going to because he saw and listened first hand how they don't care about their customers and they basically blamed me for breaking my slate on the pool table! Don't use them! They have terrible customer service and don't care about you and their faults. STAY AWAY!!!!!

I used the recommended Billiard Factory proprietary cloth, actually made by Simonis (860) but a known as 920. Highly recommended by Store Manager Chris Rackette, good call it plays well and is highly durable. The guys installing the cloth knew their business, quickly removed the old cloth, cleaned the cushions and installed the new. You can tell they knew what they were doing, no stretching or wrinkles, just perfect folds and highly efficient. I went with the Billiard Factory- Simonis in a charcoal grey, looks fantastic. Came to this place looking for a replacement shaft for an existing cue. Staff were very…read moreknowledgeable and personable. We really enjoyed the experience, that is, until the performance of delivering an item that was ordered. Once order was placed, it took a month to get the part, and it was incorrect once it arrived. Communication was one sided....us contacting them. Frustrating, but we went ahead with the exchange for the right part. Communication wasn't much better after that, and what we did receive was contradictory. Good old-fashioned runaround. Original order was placed toward the end of January, and early May, still no resolution. Not even an offer to 'make it right'. We got a refund and moved on. At no point after initial order did we feel Billiard Factory was looking out for us. There are lots of billiard supply places, so we'll just pick another going forward.
