The food was good per the crafty crab standards. However my issues were with the staff. I came on a slow day, there was plenty of staff but they was acting so lazy. For example I wasn't greeted when I entered hut instead I had a staff element sitting on her phone at a table. Another staff member at the bar eating. No one greeted me or sat me. Finally I asked if it's okay to sit at the bar to the lady eating there. It took forever for my food to come and my waiter was also the bartender and waiting on the guest at the tables. It took so long to even get my check! Also I ordered my broil but they never put it so by the time I was ready to go I just had them scratch it off my order smh. I really wanted my broil!!! read more

I enjoyed the fried oysters and the service from Janara was excellent!!! I will definitely come back.

Food was good and flavorful. Service was friendly but a little lacking. The bathroom seemed to not be checked throughout the day. A pound was plenty. Crab and shrimp were perfect. read more

Crafty Crab - Exciting reveal of my first boil. - Seafood Near Me - Baltimore, Maryland

Have very nice workers and good service but got food poisoning from old seafood. Do NOT recommend.

The food comes out fast, sometimes before the drinks. Once that happens, you have to beg and plead for further service. No matter for the servers as the tip is included in the check. And the manager could care less. read more

I ate at this establishment on 3-12-2025. The service was horrible and they over charged us on the food. They automatically charged my wife and I 20 percent tip not gratuity but a tip. We asked the manager why and she stated that is "what we do" we were not happy and we would never recommend this place! I feel like I was stolen from . They marked up the food and forced us to pay a tip on a party of 2 for TERRIBLE service! We will be letting corporate know because at the end of the day I feel like I was stolen from read more

please do not go to this restaurant !!!!! the food is unmercifully rancid, rotten and the cooking area smells of old sitting around unrefrigerated seafood. the food was tasteless and over cooked! save your money ! do not go this place! read more

Placed as online order. Received two clusters. When I called and spoke to Shane (if that is thier real name). I was told I had three. When I told her that I only had two, she stated that I had to bring it back to prove it. Wlill not make this mistake again. More read more

i ordered online to pick up my order. i was running behind, and even called the store to confirm they still have my order. mind you i live 20 minutes away so i confirmed with them before making that drive. i get there to get my order and they said they cant give me the order. no explanation, no offer to help, nothing. extremely poor customer service and poor communication. read more

the food was delicious and Savanah was amazing. I recommend the lemon dtop and crab legs.

Food was very good, although my order came with 2 eggs and I couldn't find them in the bag I was served. It also came with a drink, so I ordered and Iced tea, but what I didn't know was my server would be MIA for the rest of our meal, so that small glass of tea I was served needed to last me the whole meal. When he finally arrives 10 minutes after we finished eating I told him he was MIA and I wanted more tea. He just took my card and I paid my bill. No word as to where he went or no refill on my tea. Pretty poor service. read more

I love love love love loveeee this place! It's super great. The customer service is great, the dining in is great. Calamari is my favorite thing on the menu, soft, crunchy and hot! The hosts and waitresses are all amazing, my family and i love dining in. read more

Decided to go to crafty crab at eastpoint mall and the customer service was horrible. My food wasn't made the way I asked. Person taking to go orders said it was ok to get my food the way I liked. Spoke with the manager (Asian lady) who was so rude and nasty. She snatched my food bag out my hand and didn't want to fix my order. Asked for a refund and she refused to give me my money back...horrible customer service from staff and management. Will not eat there again!!! Not recommended. read more

My first time here. The food was good and filling. The ambiance and vibe was nice, even with them not having their liquor license. Which I'm sure they have by now. The staff and service was 5/5! read more

It's ok! I think it could be better if they served alcoholic beverages. I arrived and it took 20 minutes before I got a table. I was waiting and I has to tell them that I was there. Just like any other seafood place is expensive. I would rather make a seafood boil at home. It is much cheaper. My kids enjoyed being there though! It was better than being in the house for them. I may try it again but at a different location. I'm not really an Eastpoint Mall fan anyway. read more

So I made a reservation for 20 people at the Eastpoint location. Upon arrival they were very unorganized. We were seated and there was trash swept into a corner where we were seated. It took them 20 minutes to bring us water yes I said water. We waited nearly an hour for food. The food was good! No type of bread or little snack on the table while you wait. I won't be going back to this location. read more

We walked into the Crafty Crab for my 50th bday lunch. The sign on the door said No Bar....no big deal we proceeded into very poor reception from the hostess and other crew member she was talking with like we were bothering her. No AC in the place then she puts the menus on the table. We had been walking all day so of course hit the rest room which was filthy. After the nasty restroom, we walked by the curtain that didn't hide the kitchen very well(which it needed to) because it was worse than the restroom. Needless to say we did not dine here. We were walking out and the hostess was very nasty as she said "you're leaving". I said nothing because my mother always taught me if u have nothing nice to say, say nothing! Very disappointing! read more

Food cold bland nasty they would not take it back 2 the all you can eat came out wrong every time service was good that's the only reason I'm giving it a one for the money it's not worth it just go to literally anywhere else and you will have a much better experience read more

TERRIBLE customer service!!! Don't do it. I placed a order online through Yelp for pick up so when I went to pick my order up they gave my order to grub hub. Their mistake cool just make another one I get mistakes happen but they was trynna tell me I have to contact grub hub because they made a mistake and I have to place another order and be charged again. I told them let me speak to the male who end up being the OWNER I explained everything and out of frustration she proceeded to holler at ME....... lost story short she called grub hub and they told her the store messed up make another meal. She embarrassed me in front of all the customers and workers The owner name was wei the same lady everyone else had issues with read more

I got my second order from them today. Good food fresh and tasty! Friendly and fast service! From the call into to order to picking it up, Just good service by better ppl. This is my new go-to spot for seafood boils! Oh and the deals! Whew! The prices are good too! read more

The food was ok. Not 250$ worth but ok. . The hostess a little rude. Service was ok. I had planned on tipping 40% as i always do but they added 15% tip so i just left it and saved 48$$. They should let me tip what i would have. I asked if they would remove it because i would rather tip the percentage i wanted to thank the server. But they screwed their server out of a great tip with that policy. Instead of the 75 i would have left she got 30$ read more

They have really good seafood!!! Been here multiple times I like the spicy Cajun seasoning they use on the snow crab legs. They have several different kinds, a variety of seafood will be going back all the time read more

If you have had a real Seafood Boil ( Louisiana style ) this will probably not satisfy you. I had a shrimp boil . It had two potatoes , one piece of corn . It just tasted like it was soaked in butter with very little seasoning . This is wasn't the worst seafood I've had. But I will not be returning. read more

food was trash and very dry there was a drop of sauce in my seafood boil I wish could post my picture of my so everyone can see

I got the snow crab, whole shrimp, and crawfish. Crafty cajun sauce at the hottest spice level. It was a lot better than expected. I'll come back to try the wings and the fried calamari and oysters. read more

Solid seafood boils and crab cakes. The decor and ambience needs a second thought. Friendly staff!

THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!The service was horrible, the food was bland and undercooked. We never saw the manager and the server messed up our order all night. It was wayyyy over priced. I will never return and I will be discouraging everyone I know from going there! I really like seafood but I prefer other seafood restaurant read more

My husband and I wanted to go to Hot & Juicy in DC (if you haven't been it's a must try) but the wait was too long so we tried out this place. We had been to the location Lauderhill, Florida so we knew it would be pretty good. To our surprise we were very disappointed. First of our many disappointments was that we had to sit at the bar because it was so chaotic at the front door we just sat ourselves. Between the take out orders and the security at the front the door we didn't know which way to go, so we made a beeline towards the bar. Secondly, it took about an hour or more for us to receive our food. When we did receive our food it was the wrong order. My husband was so hungry we just kept the food because we knew it would take forever for us to eat after waiting so long. Lastly, We both got the "Boom" medium sauce and it was like eating extra mild watered down sauce. The only saving grace was the manager,Lee, brought us more sauce which was actually what we were expecting. This isn't our first visit to a place like this "seafood boil" so we know what to expect. This place was not it!! If you want just some seafood in a bag then you might like. I highly doubt we'll be returning. Oh! And the bartender was hovering over is the entire time we ate "how uncomfortable!!" read more

Dont go to the Eastpoint location restaurant because it has poor customers services starting with the waitress because they will mess up your order and management will make you pay for the the mistake. However if there is anyone who had a bad experience at this location you need to contract the corporation office to see what they can do.Also it is a uncomfortable places when they have arm uncover police while you are eating that shows its must be a trouble place that include the management because they dont give customer satisfaction. read more

Actually surprised this doesn't have the best reviews on here. I've never had an issue taking out or dining in. My go to for seafood boils in Baltimore. Haven't tried anywhere else that has better sauce. read more

Horrible, the customer service here is ridiculous. The manager (We) is very rude and uncaring. I will not patronize this restaurant again.

Poor customer service would not seat a patron because of the way her child was dressed. As a on looker I felt it was very unprofessional.

Let me start by saying WEI (the Manager/Owner) deserves to be put out of business, she is rude, unprofessional, unfriendly and an overall horrible leader of a business. I ordered KING CRAB LEGS (1lb) I received 1 whole crab leg and the bottom portion of another one. One of my friends ordered the same but a half pound and got ONE CRAB LEG. I asked to speak to the manager because I was perplexed at the math and how I could get one and a half legs but when I go to the Towson location a pound is two clusters, this wasn't even a cluster just a LEG. WEI came to my table with an attitude and then asked if I wanted her to show me how its packaged, I said yes, she came back with a scale to put my BAG on. I, of course was like UMMM there's potatoes, eggs and corn in the bag so how would I get an accurate reading of the weight of the crab leg. While I was speaking to her she rested the scale on the table and my friend noticed the scale was off (not on zero where it should be if nothing is on it) letting us know she's CHEATING PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR MONEY. Wei is a horrible business woman and I hope people stop patronizing THAT Crafty Crab because she doesn't deserve to cheat people, treat them rude and be ignorant but still collect peoples money at the end of the night. WEI if you're reading this you need to stay as far behind the scenes as possible because you're BAD FOR BUSINESS (sadly its your own). read more

I was here yesterday, and unfortunately, the experience was not a good one. I ordered snow crab and didn't get a knife or a claw cracker even after asking for them twice. The server said that she looked for some claw crackers and didn't find any, but a table near me received some just as I was finishing up. They are both essential if you are eating crab claws and I ended up not finishing the claws. There is no salt or pepper on the tables and no sugar or sweetener for the iced tea unless you ask for it and are willing to wait a long time. I had to ask for ice because the tea was warm. The crab legs, corn and potatoes were all very soggy because the plastic bag they came in had a lot of liquid in the bottom and the Cajun seasoning had a sweet taste that I really did not like. I think that Joe's Crab Shack did a much better job with their food and service; unfortunately all of them closed in Maryland. I'm not the kind of diner who likes to run the server to death, but it looked like she was working short-handed and just couldn't manage so many tables by herself. I found it hard to get even the most basic requests taken care of and wasn't at all impressed with the food quality, so I needed to write this review. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. read more
