Ahhhh really good food. The BOOM sauce was amazing. Puede ir a tomar tragos si quieres. They let me take my dog inside and I really appreciate it.

The service was good but this visit wasn't it for me and my family . We order fried shrimp with onions rings (greasy) kids chicken tenders and fries ( not bad ) 3 boil bags 1 with garlic butter and 2 with the boom sauce . All our sauce were watery. It was nasty . This was very disappointing.

The crab legs were amazing very slightly overcooked just a smidge but honestly no complaints. The crab fries were also delicious especially fresh & hot! Lastly our fried food was a little too greasy the shrimp however were amazing size and the cocktail was super valid!

As this is a chain, I'm writing based on this particular location. We came here in the fall for a dine in experience after a farm visit. We had a group of 5 and sat in the partially outdoor area and closest to the opening (we're still on a pandemic). We were quickly seated and our server arrived quickly as well. The server was maskless so we requested that she wore a mask and she happily obliged. The table was clean and area was also well cleaned which was reassuring. We ordered our round of drinks, I got a margarita but might as well just got watered down limeade. Should have stuck to getting a white wine with my seafood boil. For my entree my seafood boil was as expected, good. And I was able to get the boom sauce (a combo of all their boil sauces). The boom was good, but wouldn't necessarily stick to that sauce for future chain visits.

My first visit to Crafty Crab was really good. This restaurant is the former Kitchen Bar restaurant so the layout, look, and feel was the same but you could smell the delicious seafood seasoning as soon as you walk through the door. We arrived on a Monday evening close to 6pm so it was fairly empty (just a few people sitting at the bar area and in the dining room area). We were seated promptly after arrival and our waitress came shortly after. It didn't take long for us to place an order for drinks and food and about 15 minutes before our food was coming to the table. He ordered fried shrimp with a side of fried catfish and I ordered a seafood boil of snow crabs with shrimp (heads off). My boil came with 1 piece of corn and 2 small red potatoes. I added broccoli to my bag which was perfect getting the broccoli in the seasoning. I ordered the mild Crafty Cajun seasoning so it's not spicy hot but just enough of a spicy kick where it's not overpowering. For me that means it won't bring tears to my eyes as I eat. Lol

It's been a few years since we've gone to a restaurant specializing in seafood boils. It seemed like they were popping up everywhere just before Covid hit. Craving some clams, we decided to give this place a try. We ordered a few drinks to start with- they took forever, arriving after our food. The Long Island Iced Tea was good, potent, as it should be (lol) but the mojito was made with bottled lime juice and not very good. We started with fried okra, which was surprisingly tasty. We opted for the Loverman's combo with snow crab, shrimp, mussels & clams with a medium spice butter garlic sauce. Admittedly the boom sauce (combo of all the sauces) is very good but it's just way too much sodium. All in all, the seafood was slightly over cooked but the crab, shrimp and clams were pretty good, the mussels did not taste very fresh and the corn was mushy. Our server was efficient and friendly.

Came here on a Monday afternoon. It was pretty quiet. Had an attentive waitress. The decor as someone else said is remnants of kitchenbar just with hanging fish. They give u all the utensils u need to get messy, Including bib and gloves. I ordered the 1/2lb of crab and shrimp. It was delicious! I got it with mild garlic sauce. It really hit the spot since I had been craving crabs. It came with 2 potatoes and corn. My corn was good unlike other reviews saying it was dry. We ordered wings to go. One order of mild and another of lemon pepper. They were labeled incorrectly so I ended up with wings I didn't want. But they were still good

Prices are fair other than drink prices which were a little high. The food was delicious and had a nice appearance. The crab on the creamy linguini tasted surprisingly fresh as well. Every staff member was extremely polite as well. I will say, there were a couple individuals who appeared to be regulars that acted as if they were over served and when they left, the bartender said "I love you guys, have a good one," which was a little much even if it's for the sake of getting tips from regulars who aren't responsible enough to hold their liquor properly. The same patrons at the bar were also extremely loud which reminds you that it is a "bar" and not a fancy restaurant despite the amazing food and staff. The food and professionalism from the majority of the staff simply did not match the appearance of the workers who wore personal t-shirts which makes the whole experience feel a lot more casual despite the prices. Regardless we will be back due to the treatment from the staff and the great food!

It took a minute to get a table and then waited a little for a server, but once she came by and got the drink and food order, everything went very quickly. I had the falafel wrap, which was excellent, and it came with a side Caesar salad, also excellent. Good prices, too; the 16-ounce Miller Lites were only four dollars each. I'd definitely stop by here again when I'm in Glenside for a show at the Keswick. It's probably a good idea to reserve a table on concert nights. There were only two people in my party and they got us in, but it was very busy, so something to keep in mind for next time.

The bar area was quite large and it appears in the warmer weather that one of the exterior walls retracts. Our server, Rachael, was wonderful: friendly, attentive, and genuinely pleasant. The drink menu included one of my favorite ciders, and the tap lines must be well-maintained because it tasted exactly as it should. The fries were simple but surprisingly good. Cons: Unfortunately, the food itself really missed the mark. The fried pickles were unlike any we've had--and we order them often. They were overloaded with greasy batter that tasted more like a donut than a savory appetizer. The wings were another disappointment. We love wings and usually finish an order easily, but these had an overwhelming vinegar flavor that made them tough to eat. We ended up leaving almost half the order. Overall: The standout of the entire visit was the service. If we could sit in Rachael's section again, we might consider giving the place a second chance--but strictly for the service, not the food.

We went with the 20-piece Southern Country Garlic Wings and the Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls. Overall, the flavor did not disappoint! The wings were incredibly delicious, packed with garlicky Southern flavor and served jumbo style, which was a nice touch. However, I do wish we had asked for them fried hard. The texture would've been much better that way. One small downside was the fatty bits left on the wings before frying, which made them a tad bit annoying to eat. At $26.99 for 20 wings, they were definitely on the pricey side. The Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls had a great crunch, but they were extremely small. Flavor-wise, they were decent, though I've had better. At $13.99, I expected a little more in size and portion. Despite a few minor critiques, we enjoyed our meal and appreciated the no fuss dinner option. Would I come back? Possibly, but next time I'm asking for those wings fried extra hard! Rating: 3.5

Overall, the food was delicious and everyone enjoyed their meals -- except for the wings. Since it was Tuesday, they were on the half-price wing special, but they were extremely overcooked, tough, and honestly tasted like leftovers. That was a real disappointment given how good everything else was. Another issue I noticed was in the restroom. Instead of the toilet paper being stocked in the holder, the large rolls were sitting on the back of the toilet, which felt pretty unsanitary. Having to reach behind to grab and unravel a roll that's been handled by many people (and sitting right by the toilet) was off-putting. So while the main dishes were great, I'd caution anyone coming on wing night and hope management takes a closer look at both the wing prep and the restroom setup.
