My family loves it here. We travel from the north suburbs because this place is just fun. Staff are very nice. Food is decent. I like my area that has couches instead of regular seats :). . It is byob. The music is decent and shifts with the crowd so on weekend nights it starts at 60s and, by close, it's rap or more modern. Juke box has lots of options. It's a low key place that just makes my family smile.

Had my daughter's 13th birthday in the Suite last night. 10 girls, 2 hours of bowling, pizza (and a special allergy request) unlimited drinks, PlayStation games, shoes and the price was entirely fair. Awesome job. We had a blast.

Typical Pittsburgh bowling alley. They take in money and put zero into the equipment. Avoid this alley if possible.

I have been so excited to try Arsenal Lanes in Lawrenceville!! I loved bowling at Dormont Lanes as…read morea kid and haven't been bowling in some time. Arsenal Lanes elevates bowling to an entirely new level. The 44th street entrance opens to a grand steep staircase the brings you up to the primary bowling lanes. The decor brings you back to the grandeur of the 1920's Pittsburgh. There are beautiful period pieces salvaged from all over Pittsburgh that make up the front desk and the bar. Walking behind the lanes brings you to a second grand room with even more bowling lanes. There's a beautiful bar and kitchen has the most comfortable red velvet seat found in Pittsburgh in 2026. The kitchen makes great bowling alley food like pizza, burgers and nachos. The food is inexpensive and every day they have different bowling experiences that are inexpensive and so fun!! If you are looking for a fun time that takes you back to a time when bowling was part of the community fabric, please give Arsenal Lanes a try!! Lawrenceville is also one of the most vibrant dynamic neighborhoods in Pittsburgh so after bowling you can get great coffee or dessert right around the corner!! Enjoy!!

There is a bar / restaurant attached to the alley that allows smoking, but there is a door in between so i didn't notice any smoke while bowling. The bar area next door does have games, like pool, darts and gambling machines (?) however, inside there was so smokey i couldnt stay. overall good time bowling and good prices. games were $5 each on a saturday night + $3 shoe rentals. They do cosmic bowling after 10 pm for $12 per person plus shoe rentals. will be coming back

The lanes were very clean and I was pleased to see that they had new bowling shoes! Their prices are very reasonable compared to other bowling alleys, which I always appreciate. Everything was set up nicely and we had a great time at the facility! The reason I am giving this place 3 stores is simply because of customer service. First of all, the little attached bar was unattended, so we were directed to go to the main bar to get drinks. It's a little inconvenient when you're bowling because then you have to wait on whomever left to get the drinks. The most disappointing thing was how the older man treated us! He seemed like he had a larger role than just an employee- not sure if he was a manager. At 12:30 on the dot he turned the light back on and shut our lane down in the middle of the game. I went to ask him if he could give us access to our lane and he looked back at the clock and said, "Your time is up." I responded that it says they are open until 1, in which he said, "Oh, did you see that online?" When I told him that yes, I saw it online he acted as if he was doing me a favor and told me that he "guesses" we can bowl until 1 then. MEANWHILE, there was a large group of people a few lanes down that were not being subjected to this behavior from this man! He didn't touch their lane! Soooo unprofessional... if the customer service improved it would definitely be a 4-5 star facility.
