Front desk staff was friendly and took the time to explain the different leagues available and found us a flyer to take home to decide if we wanted to join. The lanes worked great and only got stuck once in the whole 1.5hrs we played. A worker immediately noticed we needed help and fixed it quickly. I'll definitely be coming back here to bowl! Especially keep an eye out for Open House day, where you bowl for 2hrs free.

It was a rainy night when we were there but there are outdoor areas. The place is filled with games and activities which can be played alone or with friends - classic pinball and video game machines, candlepin bowling lanes, bocce, ping pong, even a huge light brite! There are many tv screens and couches for lounging and watching sports. Numerous bars on both levels and you can open a single tab and order and close at any of the bars throughout. There is no food available, but it is allowed to bring or order in. Our party was originally set up upstairs which was a quieter spot but a schedule conflict with an earlier group had us move downstairs but the manager accommodated and assisted us and set us up with bowling lanes. Great place for a nostalgic fun time!

Arsenal Lanes elevates bowling to an entirely new level. The 44th street entrance opens to a grand steep staircase the brings you up to the primary bowling lanes. The decor brings you back to the grandeur of the 1920's Pittsburgh. There are beautiful period pieces salvaged from all over Pittsburgh that make up the front desk and the bar. Walking behind the lanes brings you to a second grand room with even more bowling lanes. There's a beautiful bar and kitchen has the most comfortable red velvet seat found in Pittsburgh in 2026. The kitchen makes great bowling alley food like pizza, burgers and nachos. The food is inexpensive and every day they have different bowling experiences that are inexpensive and so fun!! If you are looking for a fun time that takes you back to a time when bowling was part of the community fabric, please give Arsenal Lanes a try!! Lawrenceville is also one of the most vibrant dynamic neighborhoods in Pittsburgh so after bowling you can get great coffee or dessert right around the corner!! Enjoy!!

The poor bartender had to run all over the restaurant. He had to ring you up, make drinks, bring people their food, fix their games and handle any drama that came up on the games. He was so nice and gave great service. The French fries with cheese,, bbq and fried chicken was good. I love a lot of condiments normally but this was a bit much. I enjoyed it but would have preferred a fried chicken sandwich. My husband said the fried chicken and Seasoned Crinkle Fries were excellent. Would like to go back to play duck pin bowling and the awesome video games. I bet it would be fun.

Service was fine, everyone was helpful and quick. The ambiance is incredible. Old cartoon characters and stylish variety throughout the place. The issue is the games are outrageously priced. My fear is that despite decent food and an awesome atmosphere this place will be closed when their greed with their games comes back to bite them. I wish them well but have decided after a few trips, I've had my last

For years, my family has been coming here for birthday parties and everyday fun. More recently, my husband had a work event here, and his employees seemed to enjoy the foods, drinks, and games. I think that the restaurant's casual foods such as pizzas and its alcoholic beverages such as cocktails taste very good. The kids "loved" the bowling and arcade games and spent hours playing them. The games are fun for adults, too (I liked the air hockey and laser tag, although I am not the most skilled at them!). The only problem that we have had was that a photo printer was out of paper, and we had to wait for the paper to be replaced. The employees spoke nicely with us.

The lanes were very clean and I was pleased to see that they had new bowling shoes! Their prices are very reasonable compared to other bowling alleys, which I always appreciate. Everything was set up nicely and we had a great time at the facility! The reason I am giving this place 3 stores is simply because of customer service. First of all, the little attached bar was unattended, so we were directed to go to the main bar to get drinks. It's a little inconvenient when you're bowling because then you have to wait on whomever left to get the drinks. The most disappointing thing was how the older man treated us! He seemed like he had a larger role than just an employee- not sure if he was a manager. At 12:30 on the dot he turned the light back on and shut our lane down in the middle of the game. I went to ask him if he could give us access to our lane and he looked back at the clock and said, "Your time is up." I responded that it says they are open until 1, in which he said, "Oh, did you see that online?" When I told him that yes, I saw it online he acted as if he was doing me a favor and told me that he "guesses" we can bowl until 1 then. MEANWHILE, there was a large group of people a few lanes down that were not being subjected to this behavior from this man! He didn't touch their lane! Soooo unprofessional... if the customer service improved it would definitely be a 4-5 star facility.

What really shoots it down is how bad the service is and the consistency of the food. We normally have happy hour for work here and We went on a Wednesday. There is a deal for wings on Wednesday for 0.85 cents per wing, however, not only are the wings small but I was charged $15 dollars. Not only that, they never once got water despite asking multiple times, did not correct the wing order, and incessantly tried to get my group to get more orders of ranch. Now the caveat? They didn't tell us it was extra and charged us for it. It does not even come with fries. The food was also served cold....on a hot summer day? How does that even happen? Service is deceiving because she gave the deal to someone else but not to me. It just felt like they wanted more money so they charged me more. If they work on their deals, customer service, and quality of the wings then it might go up. Other facilities look okay. If you come here for the other facilities, I saw other reviews also have issues with the service but go at your own discretion.
