Beloved by locals, they have pool tables, a small live music and dance area inside and a really nice outside area in the back. You'll meet some of the nicest people. But I do:)) So I went and asked if she bent it she lied and told me no, to which I corrected her and told her we know she did (his id is brand new and it says it on there). Her reason is "PA IDs don't bend" I said i understand but this isn't a Pa id and informed her of the 3 main ways to know it is real also told her to make a google search. She refused to check it again and said she didn't need to serve him. (Which I know is true) At the end of the day you do not do this to someone's GOVERNMENT documents‍ mind u the owner was right there the whole time and both of them tried to tell me no one bent it and grab it out of my hands I was showing them. They have an open area with pool table, picnic tables etc; We talked to the owner and he talked about one of the beers that I liked. He said that when he started making it in the 90's the alcohol was at 12%, and then brought it down over the years. He laughed and said lots of things went lost after we drank that. But then people started saying the beer was good, then they decided to do it for a living. I thought that was a great story. Every beer that I tried here was good. So far along the stops this was my favorite beer. I'd recommend coming here. I'll be back.

Best of all, they had the acclaimed science fiction and fantasy author Mary Robinette Kowal as their special guest. (But she lives in North Carolina, so don't expect her as a regular in the Pittsburgh location.) Space Bar is obviously LGBT+ friendly, but it's an everyone bar. OK, maybe not everyone: it will be more fun if you're interested in science fiction and fantasy, and don't upset the vibe. I'll be sure to visit the in-person location next time I'm in Pittsburgh.

In Pennsylvania, one can often find great wings in hole in the wall places made by small time cooks who make their own sauces. This place was no exception! I opted for 6 garlic and butter wings and 6 California gold rush wings. They charge this as 2 separate orders of 6 wings rather than a single order of 12 wings costing you about $2 more, but when the wings arrive, I doubt you will complain. Turns out, when they say wing, they mean the full wing. So each wing was really equivalent to two regular size wings. All of a sudden my 12 wings just exploded into 24 wings -- far too much food for me to eat. The garlic and butter wings were exceptionally good, among the best wings I have ever had. Fresh, rustically cut garlic generously adorned the wings. Lovely. The gold rush wings had honey mustard and hot sauce. These were pretty good, but not nearly as good as the butter garlic wings. I felt the heat was really missing from these, but the mustard had nuance which was nice. The wings themselves were definitely prepared to order and were very large.
