The LGBTQIA oasis! Friendly atmosphere where everyone is welcomed and accepted. Fun shows and promotions. Great bartenders, DJ's and staff. Creative drink specials and cozy outdoor deck for summer mingling. Plenary of free, safe parking in lot next door. Cool new facade just finished over this historic building that is over 125 years old. Located just 2 blocks from Johnstown's Central Park and great downtown restaurants. Walking distance from The Holiday Inn.

Me and my girlfriend were walking around Lawrenceville a couple weeks ago hitting up some breweries…read morewhen all of a sudden she said I need to go to the bathroom. So as we walked by this place and I was like let's go in here and use their restrooms and have a drink. I had no idea it was a gay club at first, but that didn't bother me one bit after I soon found out. I used to go to one with my gay friends in college and I always had a blast. We were greeted by a super friendly bartender who flirted it up with us. He definitely thought we were there to have some fun so we just ate it up and flirted back because people who are comfortable in their sexuality can do that. The place was empty at the time we walked in but started filling up with patrons soon after. Needless to say we ordered a couple drinks and then an older lady came in and sat beside us and boy was she a trip. We chatted it up with her for a good 30 minutes while doing a shot with her. She was a lot of fun and had some great stories. Thanks! This is a cool place and I'd definitely stop back to have a drink and some laughs. Great spot for drinks with excellent service and fun patrons. Cheers :)

Friendly staff and customers, welcoming, affordable, a terrific local gay bar. They have drag shows and special events. We will return next time we are in the area.

The drinks were affordable and strong, which was a definite plus. However, my main issue with The Lodge is the seating situation near the stage. If you're sitting in front, be prepared for people to stand directly in front of you during the drag show. I would've preferred if the drag queens, owner, or even security had stepped in to ask them to move. It was frustrating to have 6-foot-tall, 300-pound women completely block our view--especially after paying $18 per ticket. Also, watch out for this one wild white lady in a black shirt and floral shorts who acts invisible and blocks multiple people. If you ask her politely to move, she'll argue with you and even try to escalate things by telling you to "step outside" like she's about that life. Overall, for our first drag show, we had fun--but if you're going to enjoy the performance, be ready to be annoyed because no one there is enforcing basic courtesy or crowd control. Yes this is coming from the gorgeous black queen with the pink/purple hair

Looking for great house music, cheap drinks, and a small town vibe that still has a piece of metropolitan life? Go to the Lodge. The drag queens are fab and super sweet and all about the jello shots lol. My wife and I went and had a great time though it was sleepier than we remembered it. Fair warning it is located in an area that's very dark at night so be on high alert. If coming from Hagerstown it will be on your left, if Frederick your right.

've been coming to this bar ever since I moved to Pittsburgh, and I've never experienced anything…read morelike what happened last Friday (January 30th, 2026). My friend and I come here every Friday for happy hour. Over the past few weeks, we noticed that our tabs didn't seem to match what we were actually drinking, so this time I decided to ask for our receipts. That's when we saw we were both charged for shots of Espolón tequila--something neither of us ordered. I was drinking margaritas and always ask for well tequila in mixed drinks. This makes me wonder how many times we've been charged for drinks we never had. Completely unacceptable. When we brought this up, we were told to speak with the manager to correct the tab. He was extremely rude and immediately accused us of ordering the shots, even though he wasn't present. He was more focused on watching RuPaul than helping. He then claimed my card had been declined weeks earlier, which forced me to call my bank and dispute a double charge. Thanks for the extra hassle. You come here expecting a good time and leave not wanting to return. Management clearly needs to address issues with staff to prevent this from continuing. That so-called manager has no business working in customer service. I've only seen him on Fridays and Saturdays--about 5'10", skinny, wearing sweats and a gray Carhartt beanie. He's always rude, but this encounter was beyond the limit. This happened around 9-10pm in the middle bar. If you decide to come here, be careful and always ask for your receipt--otherwise, you may end up overcharged.
