I had no idea it was a gay club at first, but that didn't bother me one bit after I soon found out. I used to go to one with my gay friends in college and I always had a blast. We were greeted by a super friendly bartender who flirted it up with us. He definitely thought we were there to have some fun so we just ate it up and flirted back because people who are comfortable in their sexuality can do that. The place was empty at the time we walked in but started filling up with patrons soon after. Needless to say we ordered a couple drinks and then an older lady came in and sat beside us and boy was she a trip. We chatted it up with her for a good 30 minutes while doing a shot with her. Also, watch out for this one wild white lady in a black shirt and floral shorts who acts invisible and blocks multiple people. If you ask her politely to move, she'll argue with you and even try to escalate things by telling you to "step outside" like she's about that life. Overall, for our first drag show, we had fun--but if you're going to enjoy the performance, be ready to be annoyed because no one there is enforcing basic courtesy or crowd control. The thing that I gotta say sets this gay bar completely apart from any other gay bar I've been to is the bathrooms. They are REALLY NICE and CLEAN and there are many of them, which is practically unheard of. I gotta believe that the owner was as sick of that stereotype as I am and was purposeful about making this place's bathrooms great. So that was extremely appreciated. Other than that, they do have a decent sized parking lot for the area (most of the nearby establishments are stuck with just street parking and on a busy Friday night, good luck), though it's on a pretty severe hill.

When I politely asked if the lights could be turned off or the van moved, he responded with a terrible attitude and actually turned the lights even brighter so they were aimed at us. I even said, "Dude... we're just trying to have a nice dinner," but he continued to be rude. If that's how people are treated before they even walk through the door, it's not a business I have any interest in supporting. Management should expect much better customer service from anyone representing their establishment.
