Do it do it and the cuke and bloom
    James B.

Overall not bad. The last review said they are still working out the kinks and seems to hold true. Got a couple drinks here and about $16-17 a drink which is a little bit more on the expensive side but it's really the only place in downtown Bradenton that's not a sports or Irish bar and we were finishing with a night cap so we didn't mind. We ordered the do it do it which is kinda like a cherry Cuba libre. It really needed more citrus to help balance out the drink. You have the sweetness of the rum and the sweetness of the cherry cola simple making it closer to a syrup and that extra lime would have helped fix that and probably a spot of soda water. The other drink cuke and bloom which was on the opposite of the spectrum with coming out too tart. Like the other review said as well the saxophone was a little on the loud side and the drinks took a minute but it's expected while getting a bar up and running. Overall 3/5 would recommend to a friend for a fancier cocktail in downtown Bradenton. It's got a little work to do but it's a great start, good vibe, and good space.

We sat at a table near the bar, but the other dining room looked beautiful. We had the lovely Abby ( Abigail) as our server, who explained the history and operations of the restaurant as it was our first time, and went with her recommendation. I ordered Fabio's wagyu meatball--- soooo good, couldn't finish it and it filled me up that I could only have a small bite from my main entree. Hubby ordered the chargrilled octopus appetizer, which he thoroughly enjoyed. The pecorino Parker rolls were delicious, but a bit on the sweet side for me. My husband's miso glazed mahi mahi was excellent--I sneaked a bite. It was tender, light and well flavored, served with baby bok choy and mushrooms. I ordered the roasted sea bass, beautifully prepared and served over Mediterranean couscous, but I was too full... until dessert ... So I ordered the peach cobbler with the accompanying vanilla and caramel to go. They were packaged in 2 separate containers and although I was full, I just had to taste the very fresh and yummy cobbler, full of peaches and a yummy topping...but the gelato was going to melt..and it was light and yummy and...it never made it out of the restaurant !!! Seriously, a great dinner with excellent service. Will definitely return.

We parked down the block and walked over since we were early for our reservation. I love where they seated us (in the corner away from the bar and other tables). I don't think I'd want to sit anywhere else when we go back! Waiter was immediately on it with explaining specials and checked in with us frequently/filled waters. He recommended a Pinot noir based on what I told him I liked and I really enjoyed it. I also showed him a picture from Yelp of what I wanted for dinner and he told me how it would be a little different. I chose that dish and I wasn't disappointed. We literally scraped our plates clean. This was our first night out alone I a long time and I'm so happy we had such a great ambiance and dinner. Husband was confused with his dish (he thought the pesto was going to have pieces of zucchini and squash) instead it was puréed into the sauce with pieces of spinach. He still enjoyed it and said it felt lighter and healthier (not too oily). He also wished for more bread. Thanks for taking care of us Coasties! We will be back especially for that steak (cooked perfectly)!

I had the linguine with vodka sauce and added blackened chicken. The chicken was extremely dry and I was unable to finish it. The serving size of pasta I also found to be small especially for quite a high price point. The price point of the entire menu I think is also much too high for what you are getting. The edamame gyoza were only 4 in one dish and we also shared the hummus board which was very small for an expensive price. I think they should definitely be re-evaluating how their menu is priced for their portions and the meals themselves.
