Craft Grill was such a great experience! The atmosphere was a very easy going sports bar vibe. Definitely a good place to catch a game!Our server, Maylin, was great! She was so sweet and very attentive. We got the Cajun Fried Shrimp Po-Boy which was giant! And the Shrimp Alfredo which was probably one of the best ones I've had so far! Honestly, I would come back here just for the pasta! You should definitely come check this place out!

Craft Grill is definitely a must-stop if you're in the area. I've been here a few times now, and every visit has been consistently excellent, the service is attentive and the food always delivers. No complaints at all. This place easily stands out as a top-tier restaurant. I ordered the chicken fried chicken along with the Bama Balls, and both were outstanding, well-prepared, flavorful, and something I'd gladly order again. The ambiance really ties everything together. It has a great atmosphere, and I especially liked the George Rodrigue painting on the wall, it adds a unique and memorable touch to the space.

Our waiter was Ryan, and he was exceptional. His knowledge of the menu was impressive and so watched him positively interact with many customers. I ordered the Rebel burger: it was a great burger. It comes with Swiss cheese and onions Another one in our party ordered the "Big easy gulf shrimp". He said it was the best! I have come here many times for breakfast. It's great for inner as well.

9/7/2025: Great restaurant with a large menu. There is truly something for everyone at Craft Grill. We sat at the bar and received a warm welcome from Isabella. She truly is a gem and she made our visit great. We looked over the large menu and dwindled it down to 3 items. My friend and I split the wedge salad to start. Isabella's shift was just about over, but she was super sweet to take our order. She even split our wedge salad and completed the order with our special requests and changes. The wedge was one of the best ones I have had in a long time. In addition to the regular wedge topping, bacon and grape tomatoes, they add capers, a balsamic drizzle, and a sliced hard boiled egg. It was delicious and the perfect size for splitting. We then ordered the Dixie Chick sandwich to split. This spicy fried chicken handheld comes with smoked gouda pimento cheese, crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onion. I had the onions removed from my half. You can order it mild upon request, but the "spicy" is truly not spicy. It was so flavorful and unique. The sandwich has two pieces of chicken breast, so it is quite large and suitable for sharing. We added the sweet potato fries as our side. They were crispy and fantastic. The restaurant itself has lots of seating, including booth options. The bar is large with TV screens about to watch sports and they also have small tables in the bar area for a more private feel. I highly recommend this restaurant. They have a breakfast restaurant owned by the same people. I will make the trip from Houston to try it for sure. If it's anything like what we experienced Sunday evening, I will be stoked!

Food never fails here. They have an extensive menu with lots of goodies. Several times I've came here and ordered something I haven't tried before. This time I came here with my family for lunch & we all enjoyed our entrees. Ambiance is a typical bar and grill type feel. Don't expect too much. Service is lacking sometimes. It's a hit or miss. Really depends on the server. This particular visit, she forgot to put in one of our appetizers so I ended up canceling it. Then come to find out, she just forgot in general to put in any of our appetizers so the alligator bites we ordered originally came with extra since they "felt bad." She moved slow and probably had a late night so another server was picking up her slack with how busy it was. The drinks are good though and I always get the margarita flight. It's totally worth it. The fish and chips are deliciously crunchy. Dessert is mediocre.

Great Service. Was met at the door with a smile and an upbeat attitude. The ambiance is nice. Low light, but not too dark. Our server was nice, and the manager came and greeted us (i think he was the manager). We ordered the Crab Cakes, the Gumbo, and the fried catfish with fries. I had a sweet tea. The crab cakes came with a "comeback sauce". That really carried the crab cakes. They fell apart easily. Without the sauce, they were just okay. The gumbo is made with a blonde roux. It didn't really give "gumbo". More like chicken and rice meal your mom made for you growing up (with cream of...). If you rate it off being a gumbo, it won't be that high. If you rate it off being chicken and rice adjacent--not bad. The catfish, in my fiancé's words, "tasted like outside". I think it needed more flavor. The batter was kinda loose off the fish. It was "eh". The hush puppies were hush puppies. Not sweet, if you like sweet hush puppies. The sweet tea wasn't sweet tea. More like sweetened ice tea. This review is not to bash the restaurant. We are (east) southerners, in town for a while, and wanted to try food in a place we've never been. It just wasn't for us.

We come here often. Service is always good and the food is good. The only complaint I do have is I've been ordering Brianna's Pasta many times and it has progressively gotten greasier and greasier until tonight it was just swimming in grease. Pasta is not supposed to be greasy like this.

The food came out fresh and fast during happy hour. The drink was great. The customer service was awesome and the waitress was very sweet. It was nice and clean. I sat at the bar and the waitress was really quick and serving me and also keeping my area clean and checking on me in a timely manner.

Still five stars! If I couldn't give more, I would. I've tried several other dishes, as well as a couple from the newly opened sister restaurant, Craft Breakfast Club. Good potions, delicious food, amazing service! I still love the avocado toast, and now i add an egg on top. read more

Really, really good chicken tortilla soup! However the bowl size is like a 1.5 cup serving which is half the portion size I would have expected. I also tried the banana pudding but it was too thick and literally had a paste like texture. The restaurant has a patio area and the service is great. read more

Such a cute place! Loved the atmosphere, and the burger was amazing (bacon and bourbon sauce? Yes, please.). They didnt have the cider I wanted that was on the menu, so they gave me a second of my 2nd choice for free. They were also very patient with my two antsy little ones. My husband and I decided to try the restaurant for lunch. He ordered fried shrimp/hush puppies/fries and I ordered a wedge salad. My salad seemed to be made up of the last piece of iceberg and it was mostly the core of the lettuce and unfortunately there was not even enough to cut away. My husband found 2 hairs in his shrimp. So we spoke to the manager and explained and asked that our meals be remade. Well they were out of iceberg lettuce then so I ordered the tortilla soup instead. They remade the shrimp but forgot to add the fries so the remake was shrimp and hush puppies and this was a $17 dish. Mgr was very nice and offered free desserts which we declined (only because we were just not in the mood for dessert). Waiter was vey accommodating and attentive but unfortunately we won't be going back. read more

Love this place. Been here many times. Efficiently run operation with great food and a good selection as well. Service has always been great. They have a good selection of beers on tap and a great open bar area. They also have an outdoor seating area that allows dogs on leashes. We've brought our pup the last few times we went here. We haven't been disappointed yet. Definitely on our short list! read more

Craft Grill easily earns10 STARS hands down! Excellent food, service, hand crafted beers and atmosphere! Their queso dip is by far the best we have tried along with their mac and cheese Bama Balls as an app. Chicken fried steak was over the top along with their fried corn as a side! Service was superb and friendly and their hand crafted beer selection adds to the overall experience. Decor is very nice and rustic along with a small patio. Went here during lunch time on a weekday to take advantage of the specials, did not disappoint at all. Signature burger has a special sauce that is both sweet and tart but hits home with the soft grilled bun. Add the produce and avocado and side of the citrus cauliflower rice. SMH mmmm that's good stuff. The lunch cheesesteak is also a hit and something to try here at your visit. I'll be back here to enjoy more bama balls.... Good place and hope it stays a while . read more

Craft grill was ON POINT from start to finish. Our server Ryan was fantastic and helped me pick out beers for my flight and was attentive at the right moments throughout our visit. My 2yr old son was an epic disaster and spilled his lemonade and made a scene and the staff was SO nice in cleaning it up quickly and making sure we were ok. We left soon after bc I'm not one to keep a fussy kid in a restaurant, but before I boxed up my mahi mahi I enjoyed a few delicious bites. The mahi was SO good that it even tasted amazing reheated in my microwave 2hrs later. I can't wait to go back sans kids! Every aspect of craft grill from service to food to atmosphere was 5 stars. read more

Feeling pretty good about this place after about 5 visits I think now I have started liking it more. First visit service was a bit smug but last visit was great service. Good beer on tap (I like the red one I forget what it is). Nice Covid investment with the plexiglass separators. Jury is still out on the food I need to try some more but the French fries are good. Also a good family spot for lunch not just a bar. read more

Could not be happier with this place. It is in a really nice rejuvenated area on Kuykendahl and everything about it is excellent. It may have been helped by us having just walked out of Uncle Julio's in disgust! The service is impeccable. Atmosphere is warm and inviting. First of all, let me start by saying that my wife and I have really enjoyed the multiple dine in experiences we have had here. However, every take out experience that I've had with them has been poor. As someone in the food service industry take out has been a vital component to a restaurant's success since March. I can't imagine an established place like this not being able to do take out well especially after 8 months of it becoming a priority. Tonight my wife and I each ordered a bowl of tortilla soup. On their menu, a cup is $7 and bowl is $8.50. I have to believe we received the cup size portion as you can see it barely filled our bowl at home halfway. When picking up our food, all we received was the soup with no tortilla strips, avocado, cheese, or pico that was supposed to come with it. When I went back in to ask for these items I was given 2 oz portion cups with these condiments. Maybe we will consider dining in here again someday, but 3 strikes and you're out on the takeout service. read more

Super cute interior. Food was delicious! We ordered the loaded fries and fried green tomatoes for appetizers, along with the native Texan cocktail and the margarita flight! (Love the mango habenero the best). Ordered the Florida Keys chicken... The cilantro cream sauce was delicious. Chicken and biscuits... Large portion! Fish and chips and the shrimp and grits. Gouda grits were delicious. Don't miss ordering the banana pudding... Best I've ever had! Will be back to check out their brunch soon! read more

Great burgers! The first time there I got the Craft signature. The second time I got the all american added bacon, avocado and fresh jalapeños for another tastes burger. They have tons of beer on tap and offer generous sized flights. The wait staff was friendly and pleasant. The fried apple pie with ice cream is REALLY good. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed... I just paid seven dollars for about 3 1/2 pieces of calamari, the size of sauce they gave me was extremely disproportionate to the amount of calamari served. Burger was cooked wrong but according the the worker here it was "right on the line between medium and medium rare". They did offer to serve me a new burger but considering how hungry I was I had to decline. Waiter worked hard and was tipped accordingly. May give this place one more chance in the future. read more

The hostesses are welcoming and the wait staff members are friendly and efficient (Jennifer, Amber and Aaron to name a few). Try Connie's Queso or Pork Sliders with Dr. Pepper sauce on homemade buns for starters. Grab a drink at the bar where the awesome Angie, Aaron and Ted mix amazing cocktails or pour your favorite brew (so many to choose from). There are lots of TVs, especially in the bar area, to watch your favorite teams. The Menu - The pork chops are amazing. Burgers are great, too. She came up with a new shot drink last night called a Pineapple Upside down cake. Was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! Need to try one. We always try something new on the menu. I had the crab cakes.
