Really, really good chicken tortilla soup! However the bowl size is like a 1.5 cup serving which is half the portion size I would have expected. My husband and I decided to try the restaurant for lunch. He ordered fried shrimp/hush puppies/fries and I ordered a wedge salad. My salad seemed to be made up of the last piece of iceberg and it was mostly the core of the lettuce and unfortunately there was not even enough to cut away. My husband found 2 hairs in his shrimp. So we spoke to the manager and explained and asked that our meals be remade. Well they were out of iceberg lettuce then so I ordered the tortilla soup instead. They remade the shrimp but forgot to add the fries so the remake was shrimp and hush puppies and this was a $17 dish. Mgr was very nice and offered free desserts which we declined (only because we were just not in the mood for dessert). Waiter was vey accommodating and attentive but unfortunately we won't be going back. read more

(Love the mango habenero the best). Ordered the Florida Keys chicken... The cilantro cream sauce was delicious. Chicken and biscuits... Large portion! Fish and chips and the shrimp and grits. Went here during lunch time on a weekday to take advantage of the specials, did not disappoint at all. Signature burger has a special sauce that is both sweet and tart but hits home with the soft grilled bun. Add the produce and avocado and side of the citrus cauliflower rice. Craft grill was ON POINT from start to finish. Our server Ryan was fantastic and helped me pick out beers for my flight and was attentive at the right moments throughout our visit. My 2yr old son was an epic disaster and spilled his lemonade and made a scene and the staff was SO nice in cleaning it up quickly and making sure we were ok. We left soon after bc I'm not one to keep a fussy kid in a restaurant, but before I boxed up my mahi mahi I enjoyed a few delicious bites. The mahi was SO good that it even tasted amazing reheated in my microwave 2hrs later. I can't wait to go back sans kids! Feeling pretty good about this place after about 5 visits I think now I have started liking it more. First visit service was a bit smug but last visit was great service. Good beer on tap (I like the red one I forget what it is). Nice Covid investment with the plexiglass separators. Jury is still out on the food I need to try some more but the French fries are good. Could not be happier with this place. It is in a really nice rejuvenated area on Kuykendahl and everything about it is excellent. It may have been helped by us having just walked out of Uncle Julio's in disgust! The service is impeccable. Atmosphere is warm and inviting. First of all, let me start by saying that my wife and I have really enjoyed the multiple dine in experiences we have had here. However, every take out experience that I've had with them has been poor. As someone in the food service industry take out has been a vital component to a restaurant's success since March. I can't imagine an established place like this not being able to do take out well especially after 8 months of it becoming a priority. Tonight my wife and I each ordered a bowl of tortilla soup. On their menu, a cup is $7 and bowl is $8.50. I have to believe we received the cup size portion as you can see it barely filled our bowl at home halfway. When picking up our food, all we received was the soup with no tortilla strips, avocado, cheese, or pico that was supposed to come with it. When I went back in to ask for these items I was given 2 oz portion cups with these condiments. Maybe we will consider dining in here again someday, but 3 strikes and you're out on the takeout service. read more

Great burgers! The first time there I got the Craft signature. The second time I got the all american added bacon, avocado and fresh jalapeños for another tastes burger. I just paid seven dollars for about 3 1/2 pieces of calamari, the size of sauce they gave me was extremely disproportionate to the amount of calamari served. Burger was cooked wrong but according the the worker here it was "right on the line between medium and medium rare". They did offer to serve me a new burger but considering how hungry I was I had to decline. Waiter worked hard and was tipped accordingly. May give this place one more chance in the future. read more

We decided to try this place on a Saturday evening. The wait was half hour-ish to get a table inside. (Way too hot/humid to take an available table outside). Food was tasty, portions were generous. The got wings didn't automatically come with sauce, thought that was odd. Hillary was our server and she was a sweetheart. We had a couple spills and she dealt with them with grace. The only reason I didn't give this one a 5 star was because we got charged for a side of rice with the brisket quesadilla. Would've sworn it came with it. They were sized a little small but I was just disappointed because we didn't want to stop eating. :) I had the beef sliders, each prepared based on their most popular and they did not disappoint. They cooked them to a perfect medium rare. My husband had the cheeseburger and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Our bill was less than $40 for us both before tip (without alcohol as we don't drink). I love this place for lunch or happy hour. They even have a patio which is great on a nice spring day. I have a hard time not ordering their Bama Balls every time I visit ... six of the BEST fried mac & cheese balls you'll ever eat. (You won't be disappointed.) Their Crawfish Redfish is full of flavor and served with mouth-watering grits. The menu appears a little overwhelming. I think clear titles to different areas of the menu might make it a little easier to navigate, but that's just my opinion & would never stop me from going back.
