However, we had only the basic builder grade laminate countertops and sink fixtures . Recently we did a major refresh of our kitchen, and Granite Vision Ashburn took the lead on the work. I didn't need a full kitchen remodel; we kept the Cherry cabinets and dark Bruce hardwood floors. I looked for contractors to replace the countertops, do the plumbing, install under-counter lighting, and install a tile backsplash. I could do some of the light work myself, including changing drawer pulls, installing new light fixtures in places where they already were installed, and painting. I visited a couple different fabricators but they didn't particularly impress me with their enthusiasm, products, or interest in my project. One specifically said it's up to me to coordinate with a plumber for all the plumbing work myself. I saw Granite Vision Ashburn's road sign ad and decided to give them a call. From the first call from Peter and Scott I knew that they were dedicated professionals. Also, they were obviously enthusiastic about my project. I got the feeling that they wanted my kitchen to be something special, not just another job. They were able to help us select exactly the color Granite we wanted from a very large selection, and they fabricated and installed it beautifully. They took the lead on all the coordination with other contractors to do the plumbing, under- and over- counter lighting, and tile installation and it was like a one stop shop for me the homeowner. All the contractors they recommended did top notch excellent work. They were in and out on the same day with our countertops. The edge cut is beautiful on our island and bar. Our kitchen is absolutely gorgeous now thanks to Granite Vision Ashburn. Their price was 100% fair and they even got us a substantial discount on the tile. As a bonus they were able to cut an unused part of our slab to be used for the base of our fireplace some time in the future.
