Not the best visit. I was sat at the table i wanted, in the corner with my back to no one. Thank you! I ordered the Thursday turkey lunch special, BIG mistake on my part. I should have gone with the regular Grandma breakfast, which you can never go wrong with. Let start with the hair in the greens, that was my opportunity to choose what i know, and I didnt. Now I do hate to say, but there is absolutely no flavor in this Thursday Turkey lunch special, reminds me of the Thursday special at assisted living facilities I've worked at, im sorry but that's what it reminds me of. I mean maybe that's what goes with the patrons at this place, looking around, LOL! Everyone is maybe 70+, i mean aside from myself and a young child that's probably with his granny, I guess the food is OK. But definitely not for 60 and under, we need seasonings of some type. The unsweetened tea was good. Biscuits were just a little to soft, the fell apart as I picked one up, but butter and jelly made them better, I'd prefer a more baked outside and soft inside. I wad over charged (make sure you express and point to the special), and it was fixed. Not all cracker barrels are the same! SMH. Tara thank you for your service. On the plus side, the store has great deals and sales. Love my new earings

Herb roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, turnip greens, biscuit and cornbread

As far as Cracker Barrel's go, this one was above average. Their menu featured the new herb chicken (the extra herb sauce since it's runnier in texture came on the side) with potatoes and a side. The chicken was juicy and flavorful and portion size was plentiful. The mashed potatoes were so-so; needed more flavor and weren't as creamy in consistency as I would have liked. But the turnip greens were great (had plenty of meat in them) and the biscuit and cornbread were nicely baked. The waitress was also super attentive and helpful. This is a Cracker Barrel I would visit again.

Bee Sting Chicken

Always consistent, always good portions. The Barrel just came out with new Bee Sting Chicken strips. The chicken was very good, crunchy coating, tender chicken, and the Bee Sting sauce was very good. To describe it, it's like a sweet and semi- spicy sauce. I would definitely get these again!

Ok let me start by saying I am not particularly dazzled by Cracker Barrel in general but it makes my girlfriend happy. First off I am a vegetarian so it's hard to find much to eat and I like to eat. Probably the highlight of the visit was the gift shop. Parking is a little tight at this surprisingly busy location. The service was excellent.

Nice feature.

Today we came in to try the cheeseburger. I got mine with Colby cheese. It was very tasty and juicy - even though it was cooked well. The barrel-topped skewer used to hold the burger together (when it's being served) is a nice touch. The service was friendly and attentive as well. I really like that I can pay at the table with my phone. Only downside today was that they didn't have a fire going.

Mama's Momma's Pancake Breakfast

Waitress (Janet) was very attentive. Food was delicious. Coffee was hot. It was a pleasant experience!

The food is excelent! Service is amazing and very helpful. The atmosphere reminds me of being in a diner in the 1900s minus the old people.

So the larger your group is, the harder it will be for you to get a table. Parking can get tricky too. My own gaggle of friends has learned to carpool, and we accept that we won't always be seated directly together. Like any good diner, Dog House's menu has plenty of breakfast options, along with burgers and sandwiches. The menu is simple but solid, and the prices are reasonable. The French toast is my bestie's favorite, and I can confirm that their burgers and Belgian waffle are also quite good. Most recently I ordered the Chicken & Waffles; it was tasty, but I admittedly wish it came with more syrup. Also wouldn't have been upset if it came with one more tender since they were on the smaller side. The staff are very nice and they clearly work as quickly as possible. Of course, their speed is always dependent on how busy the diner is overall. I'll echo other reviewers saying that if you go in expecting to eat at a small town diner, you won't be disappointed. And my recommendation is to order a breakfast item or a burger to get the whole small town diner experience!

A delicious restaurant, a fantastic market, a dairy that makes phenomenal milk and a place for amazing events like the fall festival and events with Santa. They even have special events where groups (and often the general public) can sign up for a tour where you get to learn about their dairy operations and even milk a cow! When you visit in the fall, they have a lot of great themed decorations (as well as activities that you can pay to be a part of). But you can enjoy the festive vibes and decor without doing the whole experience if you are short on time or cash. Their food is delicious! The best way to describe it is homemade comfort food! The friendly staff is knowledgeable and will answer any questions you might have about what certain things are or about ingredients. You can also eat fairly affordably, especially for the portion sizes and homemade, quality ingredients. The shop has a variety of souvenir type items (shirts, magnets, mugs, stuffed animals) but also local products like cheese and candy. They also have bakery items and tasty ice cream. Worth a trip for a delicious meal and fun farm experience!

My husband and I shopped in the market one time. We saw milks, cheeses, deli meats, salads, baked goods, canned goods, ice creams, candies, and much more. So many delicious foods! We were away from home and had just eaten at another restaurant, so we purchased only two small things--a brookie (a chocolate-chip cookie with a brownie inside) and a small cherry pie. The total price was $11. On the next day, we ate the brookie and the cherry pie at home. They tasted pretty good. Now I feel interested in trying more of their foods and doing a tour of their farm...

A Hidden Gem in Washington, PA!…read more The Washington Brewing Company is the real deal! You can absolutely taste the love in every beer--they clearly take pride in their craft. Each brew we tried was smooth, flavorful, and uniquely their own. We shared a few appetizers and every bite was fantastic, but the fried zucchini sticks were the standout--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Definitely a must-try! Their happy hour is a great deal, and the atmosphere is just what you'd want in a local brewery: relaxed, welcoming, and fun. The location is spot-on--easy to get to, with plenty of space inside and out. To top it all off, the staff have been incredible--knowledgeable about the beers, super friendly, and genuinely fun to talk to. It's the kind of place where you feel like a regular, even if it's your first time. We'll definitely be back. Cheers to great beer and even better people!

I have been to Washington more times than I can county yet I hadn't been here yet for some odd reason but we decided to change that on the way to the airport. Before arriving me and my gf were rather hungry so we were looking on Yelp for a place to eat before deciding to stop in here for a quick bite and a cold beer on a smoking hot day. Upon arrival it seemed like a cool place and had plenty of parking behind the business. Although once we entered the business the atmosphere seemed kind of off and unappealing. Everyone looked pissed off or unfriendly. The servers weren't much better if I am being honest, which I always am when leaving reviews. We sat at the bar for a few minutes before I had to ask a girl who was too busy chatting away with another girl for a menu and water. We needed someone to cool us off immediately due to it being extremely hot outside. TBH: nothing is more of a put off than entering a business you are about to spend money in and seeing the wait staff on their phones ignoring the people who are there to help them make money cause God forbid you don't tip someone 20% who are on Instagram 85% of the time you are there and instead of asking if you need anything else while you are constantly saying, can I have another this or that. SMH! The wait staff here seemed all over the place and it wasn't even busy when we stopped in. I guarantee every single person who was working was behind the bar at some point and we either had to ask for more water, more sour cream, more whatever; that's annoying! We started off by ordering a flight of beer and that seemed like a whole job in itself to the waitress. Then we decided to go with the nachos. Which I must say took way too long to arrive considering there was only 8-10 people max while we were there and easily 5-6 waiters and 2-3 bartenders. The beer was good and the nachos were pretty decent as well. Neither was anything to write home about but they did their job. Another thing I did notice about this place is it seemed grimmy and more of a bar than an actual brewery. Most of the time when a brewery needs to serve liquor it just doesn't have great beer or great brewery vibes that us brewery lovers go for and we rarely return, sadly. There was nothing welcoming about this place and with the food being just decent and the wait staff not being of the greatest in the personality and service categories I'd say there is a 99% chance we won't return or recommend this place to any of our friends or colleagues. Thanks and good luck :)

Upon entering the dining area I pretty big they have a pretty cool light fixture and the ambiance is nice. Once we were sat we asked if there was a drink menu. The waitress though nice, said no. When we asked about a wine list she again said no. I have never been to a restaurant where they did not have a drink menu..... we ended up getting our usual seltzer. The menu had a decent assortment and my boyfriend loves linguine and clam sauce. We are gluten free so it was going to have to be penne but it was nice it was an option. He said he liked that they gave him a lot of clams and it wasn't a puree but there was hardly any flavor at all. I ordered the Caperese Chicken with gluten free penne..... from the picture it looked good however, the chicken was so charred all you could taste was the grill. The only thing that has some flavor was the pasta. It had a faint garlic taste. The server though friendly didn't check on us that often and our food took over 45 minutes to come out and it wasn't busy. Im not sure if we just came on a one off night but the food just wasn't good. The drinks though had a pretty good price point. I'll come back for the drinks and id skip the food.
