I know it's a chain restaurant... but I absolutely LOVE Cracker Barrel!!!! I got the Grandpa's special with chicken fried steak, gravy on the side, and cheesy grits... Everything was delicious! I love the old time country feel of the place and my very favorite part of CB is the country store. They have the best holiday decorations and believe it or not... KIDS CLOTHES!!!

First time visiting and I had a great time. Restaurant was clean and welcoming and the server was super friendly. We ordered Sheperd's pie and Country Fried Steak which came with cornbread and biscuits and the fried onion app. The biscuits were amazing! Especially with the apple butter and/or gravy. I wasn't a fan of the cornbread but everything else was delicious. The Shepherd's pie had large chunks of tender beef and the hash brown topping was extra! The Country fried steak was also delicious. They give you such ample servings that we only were able to eat half and saved the rest for the next day. The fried onions were good but probably not necessary with all that we ordered. The server was nice enough to give us extra biscuits to take with us. Would definitely go again when I'm craving a comfy American meal. Oh and the store out front is so fun!

My breakfast sandwich with eggs and chicken sausage. Hash browns casserole on the side. Delicious

Since the bistro at my hotel closed after 10, I decided to eat here for breakfast. I checked in, and got lucky to get seated immediately. I took the breakfast sandwich with egg and chicken sausage, and hash browns casserole on the side. It was about 13 dollars after taxes and tips. The chicken sausage was wonderful as it was juicy and plump. The sausage had a nice kick and great flavor of the chicken. I was also impressed with the hash browns casserole, which was seasoned well. The eggs was a bit runny, however still enjoyable. The bread was bit too sweet, so I left that out. The service was quick and very friendly. I was able to pay by mobile phone, so hopefully they knew I paid through there. The atmosphere is a typical Cracker Barrel, with the shop at the entrance, then the dining area afterwards. There could be a wait, but I got very lucky. It was within walking distance from my hotel, which made it so easy for me. I was quite impressed at the Cracker Barrel. The breakfast sandwich was good and not too expensive. One of these days, I I should look at their shop more and buy something. But for good breakfast food, I will definitely come back!

Ordered the 4-piece chciken to go with the side orders of Collard Greens and Macaroni for a little over $15. The taste was good and the service was fast. There are lots of CB merchandise at the store and gives that old-school ambiance in country vibe of the USA.

My husband and I were traveling and we did not expect to eat at Cracker Barrel for Valentine's Day, but we're sure glad we did! It's right next-door to our hotel with a four minute walk. Robbie was our waiter and he was very accommodating professional patient and knowledgeable of the menu. My husband had been craving catfish and he was so surprised to see it on the menu. I ordered the pot roast which was so tender and tasty. We also had a biscuits cornbread and two sides with our meals. That's a lot of food for a Valentine's Day dinner for two for $44! Cracker Barrel never disappoints as our meal came out within 10 to 15 minutes! And everything was nice and hot

    Food

I am giving only one star because I have routinely had this store forget to include at least one food item I ordered via door dash. And they tend to over cook the chicken tenders all the time as well.

    Salmon

Chicken dumplings were kinda salty although everything else was good and whatever color green I got not for me

The ONLY time of year that I come back to Cracker Barrel is during campfire chicken and beef. I wish they would have a year round! They lost me a long time ago when they stopped serving omelettes, English muffin, the Saturday chicken and rice with delicious gravy, the new one doesn't compare to what it used to be, in fact, it was terrible. For breakfast, I'd rather go to Waffle House and get fresh cooked bacon instead of oven bacon that's been sitting , an omelette of my choice and really good hashbrowns. Even their amazing pancakes at Cracker are ruined by the ice cold butter that you can't spread on it.

I've never had a bad meal here and that streak continued with my latest visit. They surprisingly weren't too crowded on a Sunday afternoon and we were able to get a table without any wait. The food was tasty as ever and I enjoyed the biscuits but you have to ask for them now, they don't automatically bring them to your table. The country ham was good as ever and is well cooked without being too salty or dry. The fried apples were tasty as ever, the grits were hot and fresh and the half-sweet half unsweet tea was just right. I'll be back here again for an enjoyable meal.

Supposed to be THREE SEPERATE PAID portions of biscuits and gravy.

With this being my first visit, I went for the basics for my breakfast. The eggs, coffee and sausage were really good. I like my coffee a bit stronger, but that's a preference thing. The hash browns were so crispy, so tasty. Some of the best I've had. No soft middle, just cooked to perfection. The pancake fantastic as well. Great taste, great consistency, just a hint of sugar. Unfortunately it was too much citrus and didn't taste the mint at all. The goat in the garden rolled omelette was mediocre. I liked the goat cheese in it and their bacon was good. The cheesy grits were bland. I probably will go to First Watch next time instead of here.

With a party of 5, our food came out in good time and we got an array of items-- from a breakfast croissant sandwich to little pastries, everything was wonderful. Most of us ended up trying their seasonal matcha drink which was a linzer matcha that came with black cherry and a pistachio cold foam. It has a specific taste but I liked it a lot! It's not a mix of flavors I'd normally think of but I ended up finishing my drink which I don't always do, even with matcha drinks. The croissants & bread were fresh and each dish was beautifully plated. I love a dish that both looks good and tastes good and it delivered both. The outdoor patio is covered and a great spot to enjoy your meal if the weather is beautiful and breezy which is was the day we dined here. The inside is also such a cute vibe. They're huge and take up the entire plate and they don't skimp on the blueberries either. I was hungry and still not quite able to finish them all....but if you do their pancakes are automatically all you can eat so you can order more for no extra charge. The bacon is also a must try, it's four large strips of perfectly cooked bacon, not too crisp and not too soggy and they're lean cuts so not too fatty. Gotta have coffee of course and the coffee is solid as well, with quick refills. They also have cocktails etc. but I stuck with coffee this trip. I always order Chicken Tortilla and hope for the best because I've had it swing way past my threshold for heat but this didn't. It has a kick for sure but not too bad. My wife ordered the Hot Honey Chicken & Yolk Biscuit Sandwich. She really liked it with the biscuit itself exceeding what she expected. Like me, her only small issue with that she liked that hot honey so much, she would've liked a little more on it. That's something she knows to ask for next time though, so no biggie. We sat at the bar and service was great from everyone we interacted with. This was out third time here since they opened.
