All of this food for $30!!! The service is amazing, food excellent, and the prices were affordable! Super cute restaurant with a little country store attached. Definitely will be back!!

I saw a tv commercial and wanted to taste the Campfire meal for myself. The half chicken was well seasoned, corn on the cob was sweet, baby red potatoes, carrots, and onions in a savory gravy. It smelled like heaven in a bag! Thought about childhood Sunday dinner at my Nana's house with baked chicken, green beans, rice and biscuits, this meal was pretty darn close to that memory. Service was very good whether its a takeout order or dining in visit. I'm hooked on this dish and want to try their Campfire Beef! I'm a happy customer and will get this Campfire meal again. The portions are really enough for 2 persons or you can have leftovers for lunch. The whole meal was gone with no remainder lol. Do try this for a quick summer meal choice.

Cracker Barrel never misses! While visiting family in North Carolina, we decided to stop by Cracker Barrel and it was such a great experience from start to finish. Sometimes when you're traveling you just want a place that feels comfortable, welcoming, and full of good food, and this spot delivered exactly that. Our waitress Madison was incredible. She was so friendly from the moment we sat down and had the kind of personality that instantly makes you feel taken care of. She checked on us throughout the meal, made sure everything was perfect, and just had the sweetest energy. Great service really makes a meal memorable and Madison absolutely nailed it. Now let's talk about the food. I decided to try the new strawberry peach lemonade, and it was SO good. Super refreshing and the perfect drink to go along with the meal. For my entrée, I ordered Grandma's Sampler, and wow... it was amazing. Everything tasted fresh, hot, and exactly like the comforting homestyle cooking Cracker Barrel is known for. The restaurant had that classic cozy Cracker Barrel atmosphere that makes you want to slow down, relax, and enjoy the moment. Between the great food, the welcoming environment, and Madison's fantastic service, it was a meal we'll definitely remember. If you stop by, I hope you get Madison as your server because she will take great care of you!

Recently popped in to Cracker Barrel. Our aMazing greeters Joseph and Linda spoke through menu options. Joseph flagged an amazing special meals for two menu that gave us many options. My brother and I got a Cinnamon Roll Skillet and two Mommas pancake breakfasts for $19.99. I was tempted to get the fried pickles (also an option on that menu) but did order an extra side of grits (but was tempted by cheesy grits). Grits with butter and salt are a comfort food for me. Morgan our server was amazing and very attentive. We had amazing food and even better service. The $5 take home meals like butter pecan French Toast Bake made me smile.

Omg I wish I could remember our waitress name because she made the morning even better. The food was amazing, I had to take a nap when I got home lol. It was nice and clean and the ambiance was exactly as you would expect. This was my 1st time at this location but it definitely will not be my last. It's way better than the Kannapolis location (it has went down tremendously)

I stopped by for a good Sunday breakfast on 5/4/25, and I'm glad I did! Brenyanah G was my waitress, and she provided excellent service--checking in regularly to make sure I had everything I needed. I ordered the Grandma's Pancake Breakfast with plain hashbrowns, bacon, and fried eggs (you get two eggs). The pancakes paired perfectly with their natural syrup, and everything on the plate was fresh and flavorful. I enjoyed my meal with a cup of coffee, which really rounded things out. One tip: use the Cracker Barrel app! Signing up gave me a free appetizer/barrel bite, so I tried the biscuit beignets. You get six, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and served with a butter pecan sauce--so good and definitely worth it. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this Concord location. No complaints--just good food, great service.

Is it just me or have Cracker Barrel restaurants gone down in quality over the years? My wife and I, along with our kids and young grandkids stopped in here for a late lunch on Thursday. I was the first to sit at our large round table while everyone else went to clean up. A waitress came over and said she would be right back to take drink orders when there were more people at the table and left. There was no offer of water. A few minutes later, with everyone at the table, a waiter came over and wanted to take our drink orders. I thought maybe the waitress was busy and he was her backup, so we gave our drink orders. Then a minute later, the waitress returned to take our drink orders. We told her that the guy had already taken them and asked which of them would be working with us. She said that she would, and went to find the guy. Then, a minute later, the waiter came back with our drinks. We told him that the lady had just been by and said she would be working with us. He said that he would be the one working with us, not her, and gave us our drinks. Odd. Two of us had ordered a Blue Moon, which comes only in a can here. I requested some glasses, and we were brought small glasses that held about half of the beer instead of something actually for the beer, or at least big enough to pour the beer into. I asked if they had orange slices, but he said they did not. To his credit, he brought out some orange juice for us though. C'mon, Cracker Barrel. You don't serve Blue Moon without a glass and orange slice. I asked for cornbread and biscuits before our meal, and those were brought out after a bit, but he didn't bring us plates for them. I asked for some mall plates, and the waiter returned with plastic bowls. I picked up a piece of cornbread, and it was so hard I was banging it on the bowl. It was like a rock. I took a video because it was so unbelievable (be sure to check out the video here https://yelp.to/of6KBS4N0N ). After a lot of activities that day, I was tired and hungry, so I just closed my eyes and did a big inhale and exhale. So much for cornbread before my meal. Boy I sure do miss my granddad and his cooking right about now. Our meals come out, and they are exactly what we ordered, so that was nice. The temperature was good, too. However... One of my side dishes was grits. They were watery like soup. Impossible to eat with a fork, and we had no spoons. Green beans were my other side. But they were only green bean remnants. Like someone used a chainsaw on the beans and this was the greenbean dust and bits that came flying off the saw. We went ahead and ate our meals and did not see our waiter again. Right about as we finished eating, the manager came by and asked us how everything was. I politely told her "Well, since you asked..." and gave her a quick rundown. She apologized and offered us free desserts. That was nice of her to do, and we accepted that offer. I guess she spoke to the waiter because shortly after she left, he came by with a spoon so I could eat the grit soup. I really wanted to like it, but all those small things add up.

My rating dropped based on my experience today. Our server was very friendly but that's the only good characteristic she had. She was very forgetful from bringing coffee cream when she said she would, and forgetting to bring a takeout container when I asked her for one. Perhaps, the evening crowd is better with multitasking than the morning crew here. The food quality and pricing are reasonable and good quality at least.

Southern Fried Chicken at Cracker Barrel, Concord
    Bruce K.

Dinner while erranding, my wife and I enjoyed our meal. The store is laid out like others with the clothing, toys, and candy to one side. We were greeted and since it wasn't busy, so we were seated immediately. I'm now doing a keto diet which is a slight challenge at CB. Most meals and sides are heavy on carbs (and delicious!) so I stuck to the Southern Fried Chicken with steamed broccoli and a side salad. The chicken was tasty and I peeled off most of the batter. Leg, wing, thigh, all perfect. The breast ended up being a bit dry. Plenty of food though! Broccoli was overdone and almost mushy. Salad with some actual bits of bacon was very nice. My wife enjoyed her French Toast which was different than the usual we've had. Moister and not as well done but still tasty. For some reason, our server brought a bowl of whipped cream. Unusual. Service was great. Andrea did a great job of being attentive, ensuring the accuracy of our order and bringing refills without asking. Fabulous. Restrooms were a disappointment. Men's room needed both bins emptied and my wife reported that the ladies room was similarly needing attention. Like others, this Cracker Barrel allows overnight parking in their lot. It's nicely far from the highway offramp that the road noise is minimal though it's under the runway approach which was unexpected. It's not a busy airport unless it's a race week. You'll have your choice of nearby wifi signals to connect to. [Review 21014 overall - 3511 in North Carolina - 1999 of 2023.]

    Loaded Baked Potato
    Olivia P.

Really good servers! Very sweet. My meal was about $9 cause I got the lunch special! Baked potato and a salad. They were both huge in size, so I couldn't even finish!! Cute decor. Props for the real fire. I was so surprised how they kept that going. Cracker Barrel is amazing. They have a store in the front of their store, incase you aren't familiar, with holiday items, clothes, gifts, candy, books, trinkets, etc! It's a really fun family outing, even.

Mac and cheese and hash brown casserole.
    Salimah L.

Our server name Liz. The food quality was poor. I ordered Mac and cheese and hash browns casserole scrambled eggs and biscuits. Everything was awful. The biscuit were under cooked. The casserole was mushy and tasteless. The Mac and cheese left a lot to be desired. The biscuits arrived twenty minutes after the meal. I expressed my concerns. I was asked if I wanted something else. I declined. I'll never eat here again. I should have read the reviews. ‍

Pancakes to go....nothing like what you get when you eat in the restaurant.

I ordered and picked up, everyone was nice at pick up. I had to go with the famous food Network sandwhich, The squawking goat. This was a biscuit with perfectly seasoned fried chicken, topped with fried goat cheese and pepper jelly! Every bite was delicious. The fried goat cheese was fried perfect and when you bite into it, it oozed out. I loved the pepper jelly as well, it leaned more on the sweeter side but I didn't mind it all. We also tried the chicken waffles. Again very good. The waffle was seasoned nicely. I personally like my waffles harder, but could of been the drive back to house that softened it up. But the flavor was on point so was okay with it. The chicken like in my biscuit was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Tried their churro(iced) latte. Loved it, my mind was set on a super sweet drink BUT this was not at all, was a perfect blend and balance. We got a side of crispy potatoes, weren't a fan of these, no flavor and not really that crispy. But by time we ate everything else the potatoes were an after thought. That be the only thing I wouldn't order again.

A must stop for both dinner and Southern breakfast enthusiasts…read more On my way home from Charlotte, I used Yelp to find me a classic diner to start my day off right. I choose the Crack of Dawn Diner in Concord. I am so glad I did. Crack of Dawn Diner is the real thing--a local Concord breakfast-and-lunch spot serving traditional Southern fare at reasonable prices. The menu caters to local tastes, the dining room is filled with regulars, and the atmosphere is comfortable rather than trendy. Parking is somewhat limited. The private lot surrounding the restaurant was fully used so I parked in the lot next door that had signs that said private property, but it looked like other patrons were parking there also so I took the chance. As it turns out, it was safe to park there. The entrance is very welcoming, as well as the staff. Amanda was my very efficient and nice waitress. There is great teamwork here, and Amanda was well supported by, I believe, the owner who ran my food out and talked a bit with me. The menu is fascinating. A distinctly North Carolina menu. Several things jumped out: * Breakfast special for $6.59 weekdays * Breakfast plates mostly under $12 * Grits included as a side option * Livermush available * City ham and country ham both offered * Pork chops available for breakfast I ordered the country-fried steak with white gravy (essentially chicken-fried steak), along with two sunny-side-up eggs, perfectly prepared grits, a large buttermilk biscuit, and a delicious diner coffee. The restaurant occupies a stand-alone building with a warm, "come on in and rest a spell" atmosphere. Inside, you'll find counter seating, an open kitchen, and tables throughout the dining room. I chose a seat by the window overlooking the parking area. This was a great breakfast, that was reasonably priced, in a great atmosphere, with very nice people. It stuck to both my mind and ribs all day long. After breakfast, I continued on to downtown Concord and spent some time exploring one of North Carolina's most charming revitalized downtown districts. The breakfast was the perfect start to the morning. Crack of Dawn Diner has earned a spot on my repeat list whenever my travels take me through the Charlotte-Concord area.

The grits... they gave me the hard part that's usually found stuck to the bottom of the pan. Some parts were regular after I scraped the hard parts out.
