Honestly my favorite coffee spot in south Everett. 1. Perfect place for laptop work - lots of spacious tables and it's super light inside 2. So many drink and food options!! A lot of nearby coffee spots don't have many pastry options. This one does! I came here when they first opened a long time ago, and I'm reporting now that they rearranged things and the setting inside is much better. The staff were really friendly too!

Went here because it was in a convenient location, but I will definitely be going back. My wife and I ordered an iced cream latte with vanilla and an iced berry mocha. They advertised the house made cream, so we had to try it. It was fantastic, both as its own taste and with the latte. Could've used more vanilla, especially for $0.75. The berry mocha was yummy too. It was very clean and nice inside, and the service was fast. Highly recommend!

Stopped by Cracken Coffee Roasters on a whim to do some work. The service was very friendly and it had a nice atmosphere to sit for a while. The coffee was very good with creative and strong flavors. The dalgona latte was one of the better ones I have had!

Super friendly service, barista was helpful and had great suggestions as well as great rapport. I ordered the black sugar cinnamon latte which came recommend and is one of their specialties. The drink itself was okay, super sweet for me even though I was told it was stronger than sweet. Shop is cute and has tons of seating.

Came here for the first time today to wait a while fot my wife's plane to land at PAE. Amazing selection of pastries and very welcoming employees! It has a nice, quiet atmosphere that was great for a bit of working. On top of that, I had one of the best Mocha Breves I've ever had. I'll be back!

I was happy with my end product (albeit inaccurate to what was ordered), ceramic cups and what was delivered. Navigating through the menu, and some discrepancies in listed ingredients to traditional Viennese recipes gave me pause. The lack of understanding to basic ordering or training to menu was hard to walk through

We ordered two speciality coffees (Cracken & Honeycomb latte) and both tasted like regular lattes to me so that was disappointing. I expect more flavor when it's their own coffee creations. I barely tasted any honey/honeycomb in the latte. But the creaminess of the latte was pleasant. We did order a cinnamon roll which was good. We do want to come back and try other drinks. The location is a little small and not the best/safest plaza.

Cute coffeeshop, friendly staff and delicious coffee! I usually like my coffee black but this place has such interesting lattes and drinks that I always have to try something other than an americano or black coffee. I tried the dalgona honeycomb latte and it was so good!!! It was on the sweet side but that was what was expected but you taste a good amount of coffee too which I liked. Definitely a great place to stop by for a nice cup of coffee or to just hang out! Must try if you're in the area!

Stopped by Cracken to relax, read a book, and enjoy some amazing coffee. This place hit the spot. Came by on an early Saturday afternoon, an hour and a half before close, all tables were taken except the bar stools near the back of the cafe. The music wasnt blaring and was good background noise. I ordered the Caffe Cracken, 16oz, hot (you can have it either hot or cold). Wasnt sweet, not overly strong or light, and had a hint of orange. Loved that they left a bit of orange peel at the bottom. Also ordered a blueberry scone (you have the option of it being warmed up or not). Texture when warm is soft, crumbly, and buttery with a sweet taste of blueberries. Overall, would love to come back here again when i'm in the area.

Really enjoyed my time here. I came prepared to work as I was waiting for some service on my car a few miles down the road. The staff was super friendly and I felt more than comfortable chilling for a few hours working. The space is nice, good amount of seating, but I wish the chairs were a bit more comfortable. I ordered the Raspberry Oat Scone and the "Cracken" which is a dark chocolate mocha with orange peel. I generally don't go for specialty drinks but I had seen some other reviews saying it was great. I was pleasantly pleased with it; it was not too sweet and just a hint of orange. I'd definitely get it again.

We couldn't resist coming back for more! This time I decided to order one of the many pastries offered on display. There is a pretty decent variety of scones, biscuits, cookies, and a cinnamon roll (which was nearly out). I ordered the savory biscuit with ham, cheddar, and rosemary which went perfectly with my pistachio latte made with oat milk. My husband ordered the new pistachio cream cold brew which he LOVED! He even made sure to eat up every last bit of cream at the bottom of the cup. We love that this cafe is super close to us. We will be back and bring our friends!

Came back to talk to the owner and give him a chance to apologize. He refused to listen so I exited the store and started to update my review. He then comes outside the shop where I am updating my review and says "Nobody gives a shit about your review". Due to his threatening words and demeanor, I start moving away and he says "Ok go away and cry. Go cry, run away!" Amazing. read more

Originally skeptical of this coffee shop due to the location. But this soon became our most favorite place for coffee. Their espresso ranks very high on my short list. I usually get a triple espresso over ice. But I also really enjoy the Dark Knight when I'm feeling like a sweet treat. The only downside is that they are closed Sundays. read more

My new fave coffee shop in the Lynnwood/Everett area! My go to drinks are Soy cappuccinos and Cold brews. They make both drinks HECKA WELL. its very rare to be find a café that has excellent coffee drinks all around, as well as amazing baked goods and quality service! They make each customer feel so special and important! For the baked goods, you must try the honey lavender scone! It was absolutely delicious!! read more

Cracken has to be the best coffee shop in the south Everett /Mill Creek/ Lynnwood area. It's a great place to sit and enjoy your coffee or grab it and go. The ingredients are better than all the local drive thru shops with the bright colored syrups and generic beans. Cracken roasts their own beans and you can tell with each drink. I normally order an Iced Cracken or an Iced Mocha with blackberry, known as a 'delicious' in the coffee community. The owner is such a kind lady who brightens up the area. read more

Excellent tasting coffee, friendly service, and unique decor. Went this morning and they had three special drinks available. I tried the Einspanner coffee, which is a Viennese style with espresso and infused whipped cream. It was very flavorful. Hope they have it available next time! read more

Something about coffee shops I used to find very snooty, pretentious, and uptight. Like cmon, it's just bean water. BUT....... This spot *insert cliche life changing quote here* is warm, comfortable, and makes you sit down and see the gray outside 128th St. For some reason I can come here and enjoy the moment, appreciating the present. read more

Amazing coffee. Beautiful presentation. A small staff that gets know their customers. An owner that works in the shop daily and roasts his own beans. What more could you ask for in a coffee shop? From top to bottom this place is everything you want in an independently owned coffee shop. It's no wonder this place has nothing but 5 star reviews. This is my favorite coffee place of all time. Min the owner/ barista is wonderful. She goes the extra mile in making the best drink for you. The beans are delicious. Not over roasted. The atmosphere inside the shop is great. I pass several coffee shops and stands to go to Cracken. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed!! My fav is the cream top mocha!!! read more

This is possible the best coffee I have ever had. I ordered the Dark Knight (12oz) and split their cinnamon roll with my hubby. The Dark Night is dark chocolate americano w/ their amazing house made cream. I am not a fan of americanos, but my husband said I needed to try it, and man I am glad I did. The chocolate is not over powering and the cream is rich and silky. I wouldn't have such a sweet treat such as the cinnamon roll next time as it is almost too much sweet in one sitting for me. They have very nice relaxing music (instrumental) and it is very clean. They seem to be a happening little place and the owners know most people that walk in the door. They were very nice and service with a smile. They do roast their own beans in house as well. Lots of windows so the place isn't dark. I will be back and next time I will be trying the Caffe Nico (cinnamon, sweet syrup, espresso, milk all in just 4 oz) and the ham and cheese croissant. read more

8oz vanilla latte. Best in town. The ratio is perfect. Not too sweet, not too strong. The taste of the coffee beans aren't overpowered by the milk or vanilla. Perfectly roasted. I've been to a lot of coffee shops around Washington but I would have to say, Cracken definitely knows what they're doing. Roasting their own beans in house. And to top it all off, the owner is super nice! Accommodating and great to talk too! read more

This modern coffee roaster is a gem to visit after the hustle and bustle of a busy day. It's in the old Starbucks suite but instead has a menu of the day. The matcha croissant is ah-mazing and the cold brew doesn't need any cream. I'm definitely frequenting this place! read more

Love this place. The interior is clean and charmingly simple with a rustic feel. The coffee itself is great; I mainly drink americanos and I'd say that their coffee is the best you can get for many, many miles around. My friends also love their cold brew so if that's your jam then they've got that too. Been here a few times to get some work done so I've sat here for multiple hours at a time. I've observed that the owner, Doug, is a super genuine, friendly, and thoughtful guy. I swear everyone who walked in while I was there walked out having a better day. If you're in the area and need coffee, skip over the Starbucks across the street and try this place. It's easy to miss. read more

I don't know what it is, but studying at Cracken has helped my friends and I ace our classes. I'm not implying causation... but there may be correlation. Part of it may be the welcoming atmosphere that the owners and barista create. Everyone here is so kind. The aesthetic and the calm feel that the shop has gives me a little bit of peace from my hectic school days. Or it might be the fine craftsmanship they demonstrate in creating their drinks, with obvious passion and dedication to their trade. I have a little bit training in being a barista myself, and it gets complicated sometimes... but the employees here make it look so effortless. It's always a pleasure to see my friends receive drinks with cute art on top (such nice foam!) I never order coffee myself, but The Cracken does offer a wide selection of drinks. Normally I get teas, or hot chocolates, but my recent favorite has to be the fruit smoothie! Goodness, I'm looking forward to coming back already! Thank you for all that you do! read more

Omg, How did I miss this place? This coffee store is literally the best in the area. I'm very picky when it comes to coffee but the coffee here is just perfect with the right amount of sweetness. I'm not a big fan of mocha but their Signature drink (caffe cracken) is so good. And I don't usually write reviews but this time i have to because its that good :). read more

Yummy! I had an iced chai and it's one of the best I've ever had. Not watered down like Starbucks can be. The people who work there are very nice! Cute decor and atmosphere I will def be going back especially because grove and kane is next door which is where I get my facials :) read more

So happy such an amazing cafe opened up in Everett. The coffee is DELICIOUS! So good and I don't have to drive 20 miles down to Seattle to get my fancy cup of joe. He also carries pasties that make me forget about calories ;) Best croissants! I highly recommend the lemon curd and ham & cheese one. Also, a good place to study! And cannot forget the amazing customer service! Doug and his son Anthony are so friendly, I always leave with a smile. Seriously, a MUST place to try. read more

The seating area is always clean, there is usually seating available and the staff is so friendly. While I have never had a bad experience there, I do want to shout out Paul and Ashley. Paul's warm smile and friendly greeting set the tone for a great experience. I am always so happy when I see him behind the counter. Ashley is another team member who makes my coffee run even better. There's a big sign on the wall explaining the exact roast level for each bag of beans they offer. You can order online and pick up, or you can walk in to buy. They have a bunch of blends that do really well. I avoid blends; I want the different flavors of single-origin stuff. I'm thinking now I should have realized that the rave reviews I see for this place are for the blends. I tried the Kenya, which the owner was proud to explain is their highest-rated offering. It's a good coffee, but not single-origin in the sense that they note how it was processed and where it was grown. They just give you the country. That's still an enormous step up from where coffee was when I was a kid, and it's an impressive effort for coffee that's a mere $11/lb. The big sign on the wall said this was a medium roast, and what's in the mug is very smoky and dark. Too much for my tastes, but I'm glad to have finally tried this place. I'm looking forward to trying the other beans and finishing all this up.

Craken Coffee Roasters truly impressed me! From the moment we stepped inside, the inviting atmosphere and unique kraken art caught my eye. The menu, though, was a delightful challenge - so many tempting options that I almost felt a wave of decision paralysis. Thankfully, our barista was an absolute rock star. Seriously, I don't care what they're paying her; she deserves a raise! As of late begun going here, It's great espresso, espresso beans have been cooked in house, my most loved is their Cracken, mocha with orange strip.
