I came here with my friend for breakfast on a Tuesday morning around 10:30am. It wasn't busy, which was nice. Their parking is a little funky they have 4 spots in the back and then street parking out front. I made my own brekkie bowl and did ham, bacon, and peppers. I also got an iced chai latte with oatmilk, sadly they don't have an espresso machine but it was still good. My friend did The Deep South brekkie bowl too and then a London Fog for coffee and he said they were both really good. The service was good, but there prices are too high and food was not the best. My brioche bun tasted like it was gluten free. Also on Sundays they said they don't make eggs made to order. They also don't have espresso drinks. All in all it wasn't bad just not worth the prices they charge. My small bowl of potatoes was $3 my drink $4 and my breakfast sandwich $12 making a meal here $19 dollars with no tax. Personally I think a drink main dish and side dish should not be $19. read more

Owner was by herself, working the whole place. but to be honest, the wait wasnt that long at all. the place was running smoothly, food was hot and plated nicely. We all got some form of bread and/or french toast. and across the board all 3 of us hated the texture. it seems they use gluten free bread. this wasnt listed on the menu. the flavor was there, but i feel gluten free bread is not the way to go when making french toast. its incredibly dry and doughy at the same time. we had to drown our french toast in syrup to the max to get some moisture. my breakfast potatoes were a small serving, especially for what i paid, undercooked and little to no flavor. please list what bread is being used, because to be honest, i would never get gluten free french toast again if it were listed. like i said, maybe it was a bad day. i got an apple pie cup cake to go. loved this. advice: leave it out to defrost a little for room temperature and its even better, read more

Food was over priced for what you get, food was mediocre at least. I've never seen such a mess of an entrance to and in the restaurant.it was totally of four people in the restaurant, the tables hadn't been wiped off I'm sure since the breakfast meal. The condiment bin filthy dirty and nothing was stocked in it. Outside the restaurant was trash and debris, all the tables and chairs were scattered around. Breakfast in Waynesboro... felt like eating at home. Kind friendly staff, quaint interior that is not cluttered with over seating - which by the way offers ample seating outside if you'd like. Breakfast options short and sweet. Had fresh oatmeal and a breakfast wrap - meat lovers to be exact and it was filled to perfection. Fresh blueberry compote for the oatmeal on the side, strawberry is also an option. Freshly baked pastries that looked so appealing and tasty. Love this place! They are a gluten, soy and corn free eatery and I got to have French toast for the first time in years! Eggs were delicious and sausage patties were too. My husband got one of the bowls and said the gravy was some of the best he's ever had. Got several of the pastries to go - cinnamon donut, Apple fritter, double chocolate muffin and another chocolate muffin that I don't recall the name of and all were delicious!!! Everything in this cute old house/ restaurant is Gluten-free! They have more variety in their bakery than I have seen. Their gluten free bread slices are big and delicious. My husband and I shared a Southwest sausage bowl. It was more than enough for two. We shared a CHOCOLATE muffin with our friends who shared a breakfast sandwich. Everything was delicious. I went in the restaurant not knowing what I was getting into! I see this fully stocked cooler full of pastries and yummy looking breads - so tempting but I am gluten intolerant. So I ask - as I always do - 'do you have anything gluten-free?' to which the owner replies - 'Everything in here is made gluten-free'...OMG you would have thought I was 6 years old on Christmas day! I've been GF for 12+ years and was happy to see this local option! GF is a risk--it can be sandy (dry) or taste like cornbread. I found neither of those here! The owners were very friendly and attentive; the space is fresh and inviting. Lunch was good--my turkey sandwich was filling--the honey oat bread was delicious (also bought a half-loaf). My husband isn't GF and had the quinoa bowl--he liked it, but felt it was too $$$ for the portion. The donuts were good (although one of mine was obviously day-or-more old), and the oatmeal cream pie tasted good--but was a bit goopy.
