The extra large toilet paper rolls were on top of the dispenser instead of in the dispenser. So everyone had to lift the roll, which often fell on the floor and everyone's hands was on the next person' toilet paper. To me that is just lazy and shows a disrespect for customers. In the past when I have shopped at Giants I have went to the front desk and complained but no permanent changes are ever made. So although I like Giant's foods and workers, I try not to shop there as often because the bathrooms can easily spread germs. It appears that they may be cleaned at best, once a day. Yuk, yuk, yuk.

I had to ask cashier for her to put them in my cart because they were so heavy. It was a nightmare!

(Is it clean? Are they friendly? Are they attentive?) This location happens to be the closest to my residence in Cville, so it's the one I most often visit, if I need a cheap coffee on the way out of town or crave a slurpee on a hot day. The service at the counter is always friendly and capable and the place usually seems clean! So they win. We have the 7-11 app (get it if you want free things every so often!!) and they are never weird about us scanning our app to use our rewards, and if something is playing up with it they are patient in figuring out what they need to do to make it work.

When realizing the mistake, I called the Olympia store to cancel and refund my order. The woman on the phone told me she was not able to cancel the order and that she would have to send the request to the District manager. (The Rio store told me they helped customers with cancellations on the spot.) I asked to speak to the District manager. She would not provide the phone number and offered an email. Then she hung up. Since I was charged, I was forced to drive over to the Pantops store. The smoothie wasn't prepared. The manager who had been so rude on the phone continued to be nasty and even cursed at me. She ran over to make my drink which made me uncomfortable since she hinted that she had tainted it with something. Begrudgingly I took the cup and left. I drank the smoothie and became severely ill to the point of going to the ER. Needless to say, I have not had one since then.

I'm not a person who likes her coffee loaded with sugar (I would always reduce the amount of add-ins/syrup at Starbucks), so I was surprised at how perfect the flavors were when I took my first sip. My friend commented on how they handmade their own milk foam and I thought that was pretty cool. To top it all off, they had straws in the shape of hearts that I still freak out over (kinda lame but they're so cool lol). They also have probably 15+ different flavor shots to choose from, which I haven't seen in other shops. So far, I've tried cookie dough, cheesecake, and Belgian cookie (not the best tbh bc it was sugar free) and will be going back in the future for more! The only downside is that I can't go every day because it is a little on the pricier side for the lattes I order, but I look forward to their coffees as a treat
