We stopped here twice during our recent quick visit to the Staunton area, and it hit the spot both times! This Starbucks was right near our hotel, and has an attached parking lot, making it easy to order ahead in the app and run in to pick up our caffeine and/or food. Both times, our order was ready in about 5 minutes, and the staff was friendly and on-the-ball. There is also a drive-thru if you prefer to stay in your car! Although, I don't visit this Starbucks as often as the one In Waynesboro. Starbucks in Staunton has a cute little place right on the corner of a strip mall. There is private lot parking only and a small area of outdoor seating. The staff here is always friendly and willing to help. There is a drive-thru at this location is kinda of hidden behind the strip mall, so if your not frequent customer it would be easy to miss!! Being an EMT-A - I think one of favorite things is the picture of Aircare 5 and it's team that the store keeps on display!! I love that. read more

I had a great visit at this Starbucks as I was traveling. They were fast and efficient, and everyone was very professional. I gave four stars because it is in a strip mall. I found the lot a little crowded. On the plus side, the store is across the street from Sheetz, McDonald's, and Chick-Fil-A. This is a good stop for a traveler to get what they need and not have to go too far off the interstate. read more

I visited this location on 9/11/23 at 0900. The inside of the store was deserted; there were no other customers. The drive-thru line was not outrageous. There were four workers in total behind the counter. I ordered a venti blonde roast pour over. The girl who took my order said shortly, "it will be out in...well, it will be a while!" I understood. It takes a while to make. I waited thirty minutes. Finally I went up to the counter, looking to see if my drink was still slowly dripping through the filter on the counter. There was no pour-over being prepared at all. The girl who took my order was no where to be found. Another girl asked, "were you waiting on something?" I said, "yes I ordered a blonde roast pour-over" she said, "coming right up." She produced a "blonde roast pour over" in about 30 seconds however, it was a grande and I told her politely that I had ordered a venti. She took the drink back and within another ten seconds, a venti "blonde roast pour-over" was created. I don't put anything in my coffee cream or sugar-wise. After one sip, I knew it was not blonde roast, but their usual disgusting pike's place medium roast. I didn't say anything because I didn't want spit to end up in my next cup of coffee, but I was very disappointed by the poor customer service and blatant lying about what the coffee was. read more

My favorite study spot in Staunton! I love to come here and get something to drink while I work. Either a pink drink or a Chai Latte, they're almost always pretty busy but make sure to keep everything moving and make sure everyone gets their drink pretty quick. Despite being busy it never gets so loud you can't focus. With free WiFi, a bunch of outlets and chill music it's the perfect study spot. read more

Come on, Starbucks! Really? My wife and I stopped into this Starbucks while driving to NC. We went inside. There were arrows on the floor telling us where to walk to order and pick up. But, while waiting for our order, we noticed that the people preparing food and coffee were not wearing gloves, during the pandemic. We saw workers pour the coffee, put the lid on cups and then press the lid down with their bare hands, right on the spot where customers would drink from ... in a pandemic! I come here somewhat regularly. Today their A/C was malfunctioning unfortunately, but the staff all kept a great attitude and remained pretty quick with getting orders out. Anytime I've gotten a drink that wasn't correct or didn't taste how I was hoping they are quick to fix it (at no additional charge to me!) So I had a problem with the way that the other local Starbucks (waynesboro,va) made my coffee. Completely wrong, and COLD!! not Frappuccino cold, not flat white hot. Like itd been sitting on the counter for 20 minutes. I had to head towards Staunton anyway so I stopped in to see if I could just get them to add a couple pumps of classic and heat my coffee up for me. The manager there offered to replace my coffee free of charge! I will continue to come out of my way, because the quality and customer service is better than the Starbucks closest to me. By far one of the best Starbucks locations in Virginia that I have been to. And I go to Starbucks locations all over quite frequently from the Valley to Charlottesville and Virginia Beach. Super convenient location right off the 222 exit on 81. It's a smaller location but has a drive thru. They always get my order correct, even during the crazy morning rush at 7AM, and have replaced a sandwich I didn't like with a free one and a free drink! All the staff are friendly and very quick to give you your order. A bonus for me is that they spell my name right each and every time which is impressive. I've had some interesting spellings of my name at other locations. Coffee is always perfect temperature whether hot or cold and the Bacon Gouda Sandwich is to die for! read more

The only reason why I didn't give this place 1 star is because its Starbucks and their product is consistent. This Starbucks however has a terrible atmosphere and bad location. I have loved Starbucks for years. They have always had such wonderful friendly service but today was a very different story. As normal I ordered my coffee at the counter and was greeted by a very nice young gentleman who explained some promotions to me and left a very good impression! But what made this experience so god awful is the other employee named "Chasity." As I was waiting for my order the same gentleman who seemed to be new walked over to Chasity and began helping her put things in order. It front of me she rolled her eyes about 10 times to the young man and belittled him right in front of me for not doing it right and she said I quote, "ugh, you put these lids in the wrong spot, cant you do anything right just stop I'll do it, go away." I was shocked, because I myself am a store manager and had I heard my employee talk down to another employee in front of a customer I would be extremely disappointed!!! She was then extremely rude to me when I asked for a manager, she said the manager wasn't in but if I had a problem with her I could take it up with coorporate, so I will be doing just that as well as this review. Extremely disappointed in today's youth and their customer service. 2 THUMPS DOWN!! I WONT BE BACK! I've been in sales for 9 years and have never had an employee at a company be so very rude in front of a customer and not just one but the other 11 people that were there as well! read more
