Really decent spot here! Food/Drink: Plenty of snacks, chips, jerky, sweets, taquitos, and fountain drinks. Dinning Area: None. Prices: Relatively inexpensive, minus the big ticket items. Parking: Plenty of space, side and back private lots. Bathrooms: Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Stock: Plenty of items, all stocked well. Clearly priced, and placed in correct areas. Stopped to get gas, use the bathroom and get a slushie. 45 minutes later we're finally leaving because my boyfriend decided to order a sandwich. This better be the best damned sandwich ever... apparently they either skipped his number or someone else absconded with his order. Not a napkin to be found in the entire store. This Sheetz was on the smaller size inside than I'm used to but was still well-stocked with snacks and drinks and goodies. They had a ton of options for warm coffee, the milkshake machine to choose and mix your own, a ton of items on tap for soda with various flavors, a large beer and drink section and the famous custom sandwich kiosks frequented by many a college student late at night. Gas prices were fair and the pumps were numerous and in great working order. Easy in and out entrances from the road. I miss Sheetz. read more

They have all the food, beverage & snacks you can ever imagine. Supervisor Jeremy is always right on top of things. They treat their customer right. They supplied disposable gloves at the pump and I was able to do my entire transaction without going into the store. been stopping here since 2003....the food i received was oily and the grease tasted old... havent ordered here since jan. 2024. the same homeless guys have been sleeping there for over a year.. probably gets his mail there by now. constant turnover with staff..and soon as i walk in the door the entire store smells sour... gross smells like fish and they dont serve fish.... seen a female employee washing the door glass once about a month ago... told her vive never seen anyone do that.. of course she is no lon ger there.. the lot and the entrance never gets swept or pressure washed. switched to 7-11 just down the street cleaned organized and same staff... sheetz is a dump! read more

I grew up loving sheetz and still like them for many reasons but as far as the made to go food or drinks it's an absolute joke and mess. in Augusta Co. and surrounding areas idk if the staff is not trained well or what's going on because this is the 3rd sheetz in the area and all the food or drinks to go end up a failure . Yesterday was really hot and for a treat got a frozen lemonade ....there was not the first morsel of ice NONE. the drink tasted like nothing but thick sugary flavoring . To pay over $5 for a drink (regular size) that's suppose to be blended w frozen ice is already ridiculous. I could have saved time and money and just got a regular lemonade but I wanted the slushy ice so that's why I payed more and waited . I originally was going to just get the slushy drink you serve yourself but most of those machines were just pure syrup looking liquid as well. if you eat or drink at any sheetz near here ( this one , waynesboro and fisherville ) just buy something pre made . you will save yourself time , money and major disappointment . Good food, lots of snack options, clean bathrooms too. They also have a sitting area now! They have ready to go cold food which includes an assortment of salad sandwiches and we tried their made to order quesadillas which for 5 dollars, was damn good. Would recommend! read more

This "Human Serving Unit" may or may not cower inside a steel cage in the back, emerging only when prodded by electrical shock from his robot overlords. Serving Unit 75876 shoves a plastic box of "Stuffed Nachos" across the counter to you. These were entirely submerged in a thick goo. So far so good. A delicious and decidedly unspicy meaty paste is folded into triangles of corn tortilla and fried. There is a distinct possibility that Sheetz buys factory-seconds from Jack In the Box and sells the frozen deepfried tacos that shattered during shipping. The yellow sauce is thick and has a dull cheddar flavor, asking for an element of acid or jalepeno to truly qualify as "nacho" cheese. But it is plasticly pleasing and I was given a big bowlful. This is exactly what you're hoping for when you give a robot $3 because you want to eat something other than food. read more

Let me first start and say I love sheetz, me and my husband look forward to stoping at sheetz every time we past through VA. So at 12 20pm 4.13.2018 me and my family went into sheetz store #302 we purchased $30 worth of food and $20 gas at this location, when I was checking out the cashier (girl lil chubby) was very rude she didn't have any customer service skills what's so ever. And when I smiled at he she didn't even smile back , but that didn't bother me it's a lot of racist people in Virginia you got to learn to pick your battles. So I pay for the food, then went back in line to pick up my food. So I received it got into the car gave my son the infamous shake he tells me he didn't like it , so I'm like boy what ever I taste it and it was disgusting, the ice was not blended well at all!!! You could still taste the powder mix in it . So I say to my husband can you take it back it's disgusting and before he got out the car I asked our son (lani) did he want something else and he was like no mommy I'm good. So with no hesitation my husband goes back in to return the shake for our refund. He then comes out and says babe come in , and honestly I thought the cashier was giving my husband a hard time cause again she was rude to me . So I come in and the manager RODNEY BENNETT STORE#302 was furious he was red in the face eyes was red and I'm like what's going on ? so my husband is explaining he will not give us back the refund because he worked there for over 8 years and never had no one come in and ask for a refund and so i said that doesn't make any sense. So he said he could not refund but he could give us a new shake and I'm like we can't do anything with a shake cause my son didn't want one and our other shake is in the car. So my husband is really upset. (And if anyone knows us I'm the hot head and he is the passive aggressive person . And he understood where we was coming from and told us to go to the chain of command. So we had to leave. But we contacted the corporate and they said they will have to get there legal team involved and (Courtney) the girl from customer support couldn't give us any answers for refunding us. After purchasing my cartons of cigarettes from Sheetz for a few years now with no problems, an incident where my husband (a non-smoker) was accused of stealing one pack has changed my opinion of our local Sheetz. Bac k story; sent husband to make purchase. He realizes a pack is missing when he picks the carton up to bring it in house. He searched his vehicle for the loose pack. Nothing. Returns to store where an argumentative female said she couldn't prove that he didn't take it and that the carton was already open. My husband tried to explain to the nitwit about all cartons having to be open before sale to tax stamp each pack on the bottom. She, "didn't know about no stamp!". So after all my years of smoking and never stealing a smoke in my life, I stole a pack of Camels from my own carton and tried to pull a fast one on Sheetz. What I would like to tell the manager is that his store has an employee stealing packs of cigarettes from the ALREADY opened cartons of cigarettes and they are then selling them at full price to an unsuspecting public. Really bad way to do business with your local customers, who are the loyal customers. Will not be returning to make any purchases from Sheetz. Once one is accused of being a thief, it leaves a very sour taste. This visit was on 30 November. read more

Might be crazy to give a gas station/store a 5, but Sheetz is a much better stop than anything we have on the West coast!! The bathrooms aren't disgusting and there's so many snacks and food to choose from. Keep in mind, it is a gas station store so it's not going to be the most amazing food, but 5 because to me it's perfect for variety of selection during road trips. The Sheetz Shweetz red velvet whoopie pie is incredibly sweet, couldn't finish it. They also have Zapps chips. The made to order salted pretzel is reaally salty, I'd shake some salt off before you eat. read more

I've never been disappointed with the made to order touch screen food, but the coffee at Sheetz is pretty meh----don't even bother with trying to get the "gourmet" coffee from the made to order touch screens. It tastes burnt. This sheetz has a walk in beer cooler, a large soft drink section, and the f'real milk shake machine cooler stays pretty full most of the time. I do wish the store had more snacks for people who don't have the time or the patience for the made to order counter. For the smokers, I've noticed that this Sheetz has a huge selection of cigarettes. I'm not a smoker, its just something I've noticed. read more

The accommodations are really good. The restrooms are clean. In fact, one of the only gas stations that has a changing table in both the mens and womens bathrooms. They were clean and had the paper liners (most do not). read more

I always make it a point to stop here traveling a few times a year between SC and NY. It's more or less halfway, and the food is great for the price with an excellent selection. The outdoor and indoor seating areas are a nice touch. I wish every American rest stop were like Sheetz. I've also noticed their gas is consistently the cheapest in the area. I've tried and tried to give this sheetz a chance. Every other one I've been to has been great, but this one has made me want to move back to Harrisonburg. Two different times now I have ordered food, and go to pay at the register only to find out that the cashier rang up everything but my food order so I had to get back in long long line to pay for my food. The last time I didn't even bother. Then today I waited in line while the cashier (some overweight guy with a mustache) took his time ringing up someone he knew. Then he kept talking to his buddy while he rang me up, he was so engrossed in his conversation that I had to bag up my own purchase. Afterwards I went to go wait for my food (which took 12 minutes) this same cashier kept doing stuff around us, showing us out of his way wherever we moved to. He even almost ran my mother over with his dry mop!!! Every other sheetz I've been to has been great. I don't know if this one is just terribly managed or their employees have just been skipping their training. I've managed retail for many years and I'd be embarrassed of this staff. read more
