Came here with family Ord we ed. Multt try idle items from ribs to shrimp to chicken to veggie burger. Everything was prepared to perfection. Each item was cooked well and was delicious. The wait staff was extremely courteous as well as efficient and attentive. The ambience and setting was awesome for a sports bar with a family "twist"! The owner came and followed up, he was a thorough gentleman. Very very nice humble person with a strong personality. Will definitely be here when in the area. read more

Came here to watch the NBA finals a while back and had a good time. The server was very attentive, despite being very busy. Appetizers are half price after 9pm, which was a nice surprise. The loaded fries were huge and indeed loaded with the works. The TVs are angled slightly awkwardly, so most tables would watch any game on a slant. All in all, the food and drinks are very standard, with nothing out of the ordinary. On any other day, I may have given this place a 3/5. But I have to say I was really impressed with our server and having the Raptors win pushed this restaurant to a 4/5. read more

I went here late this evening after a long commute to Kitchener. They boasted about half price appetizers. But when my friend and i split the bill the appetizers were 50% of full price, not 25% as they should have been. I didn't notice till after paying. That complicated things so they shut us up with a butterripple schnapps or something, which we accepted like suckers, but it wasn't even. I only gave them 2 stars cuz 1 star seemed too bitter... I actually had quite a nice time with my friends here and didn't really care about getting shorted. Keep yer eyes open here. read more

Crabby joes used to have great cheap weekday deals. Now they all have a million stipulations and they aren't that great of a deal after the fact. The bathroom is also is a long ass walk. So having a few beers is less fun when it's a 5 minute walk to the washroom. The waitress wasn't super nice or polite. But this place kinda has that vibe anyways to me. read more

The food was decent, but the service was shoddy. The waitress was not attentive even though the restaurant was not busy. She had a slight attitude the whole time for no apparent reason and was rude when dealing with splitting our bills the way we asked, flat out saying she couldn't do it when I know very well she could, and I'm sure she did too. Was harassed and threatened by an individual who was intoxicated and the management refused to kick him out. Instead they decided to serve him some more alcohol. They told him to calm down or he'd be gone but they never removed him despite him continuing to act aggressive and staring down our table. These people prioritize money over customer safety. They're also scam artists. They told us they were offering half priced apps so we ordered 4 for the table and a pitcher to share. We moved to dining with a new server because the belligerent drunk kept staring at us and they didn't want to remove him. When the bill came, the 3 most expensive apps were full price and we only had a discount on one app. We figured it was just a mistake so we asked our server and he told us that it was really weird and that he would go fix it. Then he comes back, apologizes and tells us that although he completely disagrees, the manager told him one app at half price per alcoholic drink and a pitcher counts as one drink. We asked to speak with the manager who came over and was immediately argumentative and dismissive. We told him that neither the first or second server explained this policy, or even knew about it, and that the signage around the restaurant clearly stated the only condition was that the offer is dine in only. Nowhere does it say that you get one half off per alcoholic drink, or that it will only apply to the cheapest app, or that a pitcher is one drink. The manager said he would give us the second cheapest app at half off as well but that was all he would do. I asked again how he can justify this given it was never explained to us or posted on signage and he just kept ignoring us and saying I was being aggressive and attacking him!?!? I was definitely speaking at a low volume and being extremely patient. Never had an experience as bad as this in a restaurant. We were shocked and decided to just pay and leave because the manager was starting to raise his voice and make bizarre accusations. The franchise owner, corporate, and the parent company are all unresponsive. read more

Family and I went here for a late lunch. We popped in and the place was empty. The hostess sat us down in a booth...without menus. We sat and waited and it took 5 minutes for her to come back with the menus and ask us what we were all drinking. It then took her an additional 15 minutes to bring us those drinks. When she did that, she asked for our orders. We ordered and then waited half an hour to 45 minutes for food. All we ordered was two plates of nachos. The food was okay, but wasn't heated. Not to mention the fact that our waitress was super impatient with us. Eating here was a horrible experience. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

I've always had a good experience at this Crabby's in the past but tonight proved their dedication to providing the best possible service. We had ordered online delivery through a third party company and when it was delivered there were some items missing. My fiancee called them and they were very apologetic and immediately sent out the missing items. The manager she spoke with was wonderful and the food was delivered quickly and ALL of it was delicious. Sometimes mistakes happen, it's how they're dealt with that matters. I can't say enough about how quickly and effectively they rectified this one. read more

Great job ! We went to a show afterwards so we were in a bit of a hurry. The food was awesome, and speedy and we even had time after to talk. The waitress was really nice, funny and was As helpful as can be. I've had a few different menu options but the burger and fries is one of the best in town. Terrible Service. Popped in on Monday, and they were busy. We sat ourselves in the bar area and a few minutes later a server came by and asked what we wanted to drink. After asking for a pitcher of beer she suggest we get their 'Scooner' as they were on special and listed the two choices we had. We agreed but also asked that she change the channel for a specific game that was on. She said she had to ask her manager and would let us know. She came by a few minutes and popped down two beers. When we told her that she never asked us the type of beer, she said to just have these as they were better than the other option. She left right after we could respond. We waited 10 minutes and she never came by with a menu or let us know about the game we wanted to watch. I then went to the bartender and asked and his response was "I will when I have a minute but I don't, so no. I then asked for menus at least, he came by 2 minutes later and threw them on the table and left. At this point we said this place doesn't deserve anymore of our business and left. On the way out, what did I see? That bartender who was to busy to chance the channel having a smoke. Nothing wrong with taking a break but please don't act like you don't have 1 minute to change the channel. Management needs to hire more servers or retrain their existing ones. read more

I was in town from Phoenix on business. I sat on the sports bar side and enjoyed all the tv's. I had their ribs. They were ok. Certainly nothing to jump up and down about. Had nice selection on beers on tap! Decided to go back on a Saturday and tried the wings. They were NOT good. They were very dry. They cooked them frozen!! Yuck. I was also passed because they wanted to charge me $5 to watch the fight. I didn't know about a fight and only wanted to eat and gave a few beers. I finished my bad wings and was enjoying my second beer when the waiter said if your not going to eat I'll have to charge you $5. All I wanted to do was enjoy my beer. So I paid my bill and left. I had planned to go there and watch the CFL playoffs on Sunday. That's not going to happen! Won't ever go back. read more

I ordered the t bone steak but after 35-40 minutes the waitress comes out and says that there is something wrong with the steak they have and requested for me to choose something different. Visiting from Toronto my fiancé and I went out to eat last night around 11pm at this location. First time being in crabby joes ordered the spinach and artichoke dip to start; for some reason no matter what restaurant I always get served less pita than what u need to finish the the dip. The starter was the best tasting plate I had that evening. My main dish was the peppercorn chicken blt and I was not feeling the sandwich at all took forever to reach my table and the tomato made the bun soggy for that reason. Place is for a night of sports and late night drinking with the guys since there's a three litre tower of beer that you can order. I will pass up eating here next time am in town. read more

Came here last night with my boyfriend and I had a Virgin Pina Colada and a Shirley Temple (Which I enjoyed.. The pina colada was a bit to coconutty for me) and we ordered Tuesday Cheap Chicken Wings and we had the ghost pepper, fire & ice and Parm & Pepper (My Fav) wings but we enjoyed all of them.. Some were a bit to fatty for me but no complains.. I had the NY steak (Medium Well) and Mashed Potatoes with Gravy (I loved the gravy) and veggies.. I enjoyed it very much.. The customer service was okay.. I had to go to the front to remind the guy of my Shirley Temple (which is Terrible)but I'd probably come back again.. He was the only one serving our area but I seen him serving other ppl drinks before me.. And I got mine a Half Hour later, after having to go to the back, to ask him! I've had mixed experiences here, and would rate it 3/5, but my last experience left me very satisfied with the service. Food: It's okay - nothing special. I personally enjoy their chicken strips with plum sauce (for my inner child), but I have also had a burger at this specific location. Atmosphere: Like any other Crabby's, really. Nothing special, but still has a welcoming undertone. Service: This is a toss up. I've been to this specific location about five times in the past two years, and the service has ranged from poor to extremely good. The poor has only been once, with okay/good levels thrice. However, my last experience was very satisfying (which was in 2014, but I don't eat out often anymore). I went with my friend and we both ordered burgers, both ending up varying degrees of burnt. Mine was just the edges, and barely affected the taste, so I was fine eating it. However, my friend's was very burnt, and virtually inedible. We sent that one back, and the manager personally came over to apologize, return our coupon, and proceed to tell us that my friend's burger would be free with a discount on my own for impacting my experience as well. The new burger was brought out within a couple minutes, and we both left very happy. We had expected a simple replacement and an apology, but the manager went out of his way to assure our satisfaction. Overall, this location is average, but the manager's actions during my last visit really improved my opinion of the location. read more
