The man who was in charge of towing my vehicle was both inexperienced and didn't come very equipped with tools that could've helped. Me and my father had to PUSH my vehicle out of the garage in order for him to hook it up because he didn't want to "lift" it (big suv would hit garage door on top) and pull it from the garage. So as me and my father were able to move the vehicle about 3/4 out of the garage he hooks it up and moves it keeping my truck level without "lifting" it as we had initially suggested, but said he couldn't do. What a waste of time. As we get to the shop, he decided to humiliate me like I didn't know what I was doing attempting to repair my vehicle. I got a blowout on the freeway and my car does not have a spare so I called my service company, who then got a hold of CR&B Towing service. This was at 4:31 PM, and at 4:55 I got a text message stating the estimated time of arrival was 120 minutes to 150 minutes. At 7:27. I got a text from Lincoln asking if my car has been picked up which I said NO. at that time CR&B was contacted and they respond and said they would be there withi So 8 o'clock comes and goes and I wait, wait, wait. Then at 8:30, I got a message from Lincoln asking if my car has been picked up, I said NO AGAIN. At 9:03 I got a text message from Lincoln and said C at 9:03 I got a text message from Lincoln and said CR&B I had revise my pick up for now another 40 minutes because apparently, their tow truck had a flat tire! 10:20! at this time, Lincoln contacted another towing service K.O. Towing their estimated time was 90 to 120minutes!! The lady from Lincoln called back K.O. Towing and told them I had already been waiting since 4:30, they said they would expedite and they finally got there within 60 minutes which was 11:30 PM. C.R&B Towing never called me back or Lincoln to tell them they were never going to come out that night. It was Sunday night on memorial weekend and they were probably having a barbecue (lol). If I ever get into this jam again, I will make sure that Lincoln does NOT contact CR&B towing. I had to have my car "jumped" for a startup. The technician came with a portable battery charger, sand got my car started. I (mistakenly) agreed to meet with him at PepBoys to purchase, and have him install a new battery. I took my car to the dealership a few days later, and was told that there were several bolts missing, and they showed me, after opening the hood, that the battery itself was loose and unsupported. I gave the dealership the parts that I had insisted on keeping. The dealership also said that if I had kept the old battery, ( which the towing guy suggested that I trade in for a minimal refund), I might have gotten some restitution according to warranty. The towing guy insisted that there was no such warranty, knowing how dealers operate. Got this company contracted as a tow thru Lyft Pink Roadside Assistance. I'm giving them 3 stars because they took about 2 and a half/3 hours longer than expected, but once the driver arrived he explained they're a fairly new company currently only running one truck - but about to add a second to their fleet, which will probably help bring their ratings and response time up. The driver was polite and easy to talk to, and their dispatcher was polite and friendly. Once they add a couple more trucks to their fleet I'm sure service will be much better. This was at 8:40pm with an estimate of 60min arrival. At 9:30pm i still did not get any response from them asking as to where the tow is or asking me any information so I called them. The guy lies and said he just got the information 10mins ago from GEICO and will dispatch someone now and it should be another 60min but they are in route. At 10:40pm I get a call from CR & B stating that their guy have been trying to call me but no response (complete lie as I've been sitting in the car with full service and no calls). I informed them of this and they called the guy and merge the calls, he asked where am I, I gave him the information (for the 7th time I've disclosed it that night) and they state I need to drive somewhere else. I once again explain that my back tire blew out and only the rims are left but I'm in a safe spot off the freeway on the side. They hang up without saying anything. 11pm I call back 4x and finally got an answer asking them for an eta. To this he claims the tow drove up behind me and saw that there was no space for him so he left. Once again another complete lie, as I've been sitting there and no one ever came plus there was a massive open space behind and in front of me. He said they would call Geico himself and hung up on me. I finally called back GEICO myself, explained my concerns and frustration. They dispatched CityWide Towing that came in 15mins and parked right behind me with no issues and fixed my car.
