Come by and see Caesar for great prices and service
    Brian H.

I highly recommend CPL Multi Tires in Venice, for great service and great prices. I purchased two of the same tires that I purchased today a couple of months ago from Tires Pluss and they charged me 560.00. Today at CPL Multi Tires I was only charged 430.00 for the same exact tires. The owner of CPL Multi Tires Caesar was very patient and friendly in helping me find what I needed at the right price.

Great service anytime I've gone there. You can drive right in or make an appointment. Either way you get top service.

Yes... their hourly labor rate is expensive, but that is relatively standard for auto shops. I appreciated the compassion with which the employees treated me.

I asked him if they could check it because I thought it would need either a spark plug or coil or both. He sent me an email with about 20 things they said the car needed from new wiper blades to new tires. The tires are fine and the wipers work great. Never asked them to do a full vehicle inspection but they did. He then told me to replace 6 spark plugs and one coil would be $936 plus tax which would put it over $1,000 when done and that is not even for a full tune up. I made a few calls to other car repair places and they all told me that was way to high. I called him back and told him we could not afford $1,000 for 6 plugs, a coil and 2.5 hours of labor. I was quoted between $450 and $550 for 6 plugs and 6 coils and gaskets including labor. My wife went to pick up the car and they charged her $139.00 for checking out the car. When I called an complained, Bobby told me that the inspection on the entire vehicle was free but that the mechanic took the top of the motor off and actually checked the coil and that took an hour to do and that they charged $139.00 per hour. We took the car to a different mechanic and he said that the head had not been removed. When I asked Bobby how they came up with the $936 quote in the first place he said it was because the spark plugs were so expensive ( purchased them from Advanced Auto for $8 each) the coil was $25.00 an the gaskets where about $20. So now we are at total parts costing $93.00 so I aske him how they came up with the $843 difference and he said it was labor. So they were going to charge me $843 for a job that all three other mechanics told me was a 2 - 2.5 hour job and that is to replace all 6 coils. At 2.5 hours that is $345.20 per hour. I would never recommend this shop. They must think people are complete idiots. Not sure about the other reviews on here stating they are a fair and honest shop because that was not my experience at all.

Cost was very reasonable - much less than the dealer quote. This year I returned to ask about a worrisome brake noise. Dave is a truly honest man and a great mechanic. His garage is my first choice for auto service.

I first went to Mavis and two young guys looked at the tire and said it could not be repaired; tire had to be replaced. What I found interesting was one of the two said "I see the screw causing the leak and it is definitely unrepairable." The irony was he wasn't even pointing to the sheetrock screw the other kid identified. So they gave me a price of $279 installed for a new tire... I left and remembered seeing this little garage listed on Yelp, "Dave's Garage" and that's where I headed. Dave was by himself today and some guy had an appointment so he politely said, pull the Buick in, the guy is a half hour late already. He took the tire off, repaired it and proceeded to tell me his stories. He has had quite a past. But he has been operating in Venice for 19 years. As he finished the repair and another story, he said $20 sir. I gave him $25 and said $20 for the repair and a small tip for entertaining me today. All I can say is this guy is the real deal; a throwback to my childhood 60+ years ago when I used to hang out at McWilliams Garage near my house. Honest, highly qualified, and full of life's stories. He's a great mechanic and a good person.
