I would leave half a star if I could. Save your money and frustration with these guys and beware of grumpy Jeff! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ken is polite but Jeff has some serious attitude issues.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I went to them to get a radiator and t-stat swapped out along with replace the battery, and I had an issue with the steering. I payed for the diagnostic. Originally they gave me an outrageous quote, I think they tried to price me out the roof just to make me walk. That estimate was close to 7k so I told them I couldn't afford It. I also asked Jeff if they had ever done a rack and pinion before and he said yes once for his son's vehicle. This made me start to lose confidence because that can be dangerous for me if not done correctly. He said he would get back with a price for that but never did. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Then they called me a couple months later with an attitude about why I haven't decided to move forward or not with work because the vehicle had been there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I told them I travel for work so I would be willing to pay a storage fee and get the work done in segments. They said "that would be ok", but they still didn't give me a price for the rack and pinion.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was waiting for a price to change rack and pinion like I was promised, instead I get another voicemail of Jeffs attitude saying he's waiting on me to move forward or not.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I returned the call and told him that I was waiting to hear back with a price for rack and pinion, apparently he was helping his son for Christmas or whatever excuse he gave me. Even after all that, I said ok we can start with the battery replacement and even though I provided the battery, they still charged me over $300 for labor. It can't take more than 30 min to swap out my cars battery I've done it before without the tools they have. After dealing with the attitude from Jeff and paying that crazy amount for the battery, I went and got a 2nd opinion, the 2nd opinion was way more reasonable and they even gave me an option to get the parts myself and only pay for labor unlike JSN. After I got the 2nd opinion I decided to decline JSNs ridiculous estimate and I still offered to pay for storage since I'm always traveling. I was told by Ken "its fine, I'll let Jeff know" and "it wouldn't be much". [[HIGHLIGHT]]Apparently Ken never spoke to Jeff, or Jeff's memory is horrible. I say that because about a month later I get another nasty voicemail from Jeff threatening to tow my vehicle.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I returned the phone call and Jeff is obviously frustrated and he said nothing about rack and pinion price and even though I gave him proof of the person I spoke to and the time and Date, he resorted to just saying "I'm tired of looking at the thing" in reference to my vehicle. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They dropped the ball multiple times and then treated a paying customer like a nagging child while failing to communicate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After this experience I'm not surprised of the 3 star rating. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ken was great but Jeff needs to cool down or retire if he's not going to learn how to treat people who need his company's services[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], If this how he treats paying customers, then God bless His Son! read more

not only did they set me back an entire day because they lost my only key. All they did was clear my code and charge me almost $200 and said they had to reconnect a hose on my intake when in reality they didn't do a damn thing! No physical work was done to the truck at all! Beware! Use this shop or any of the other JSN shops at your own risk. Brought my vehicle in for driver's side tie-rod inspection, estimate with a necessary wheel alignment. Vehicle was dropped off day before on 8/12/25. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service advisor called with price and was given verbal authorization for repairs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] On 8/13/25, I was called and told repairs were done. When I arrived at the shop, the pictures shown below were taken immediately where the car was parked. Went to speak with the advisor and he claimed no knowledge about the damage. Jeff Mead, shop manager, finally returned to the shop and claimed that damage was not done by the shop. Jeff Mead quoted " our shop policy is to take photos of all vehicles dropped off for repair". Ironically, pictures were not taken of my vehicle by the staff. Jeff said it was up to me to provide proof that car was not damaged with pictures or video. Mechanic claimed not to know anything about the damage and proceeds to tear the hanging piece of bumper off. I found it hard to imagine, if a vehicle with a portion of bumper dragging on the ground would not be noted, pointed out or documented. I also find it comical to think that piece of bumper would hang on during highway driving of 6.5 miles to the shop. I paid the bill in full, obtained a police report and left. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Multiple emails were sent to the President, Vice President, and service manager without any acknowledgment or reply after waiting 10 days.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Calls with messages to the marketing department were ignored as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Next steps are filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Sarasota Small Claims Court. Avoid this chain of 6 shops throughout the county when the owner don't even bother to reply! read more

Having been a loyal customer for 5 years, I had the utmost faith in this organization as being honest and trustworthy. So much so, I had referred family, friends, and acquaintances. Much to my dismay, after dropping my car off for an oil change I was told I needed a rear tire replaced. With that said, an alignment was notated as being performed on the service receipt. After picking up the vehicle, I started my journey to Miami for an extended cruise. After being out of the country for nearly a month, I headed north to Orlando. I noticed something being off a bit on my way to Miami, but I chalked it up to ridges in the roadway on Alligator Alley. Soon after, I notice my car jumping/pulling sideways when hitting bumps in the road. Let's not discuss when crossing train tracks en route to Orlando. Throw rain into the mix and I couldn't safely drive my car over 35mph or the rear end would pull as feel as if the car was hydroplaning. So after combing Orlando for reputable tire stores open on Saturday, Action Gator came highly recommended. They worked me in their schedule for a simple alignment so I could return safely to Sarasota. Problem solved; however, the wear on the new tire couldve been prevented had Pit Stop actually performed the service when the new tire was mounted. When I contacted the store and requested a refund of the service not performed, the gentleman rudely declined and disconnected. Not to mention, condescending and extremely unprofessional. Never will I ever return to this organization. They've lost a loyal customer over dishonestly, unprofessionalism, and customer service failure. I feel compelled to write this review as this was the first time using them. I have a "vintage" car...20+ years and in great condition, just needed some "work". I left the car and when I was informed of the work necessary I needed to have someone explain things to me. Auto mechanics is not my forte. I detected the person speaking to me had no desire to have a friendly conversation to explain a few things. He was curt and I sensed he didn't feel like being bothered. I must state that I was in the "people business" for over 40 years as a flight attendant, so I know when someone is being rude. I ended the conversation and thank goodness the next time I called I was lucky enough to speak with someone else. I felt like he treated me as the way I should have been treated, whether I'm spending $20 or $1k. Today I went to put the roof down and it was dead. I troubleshooted and nothing. So I called. That was it for me. Rude is purely an understatement. I had to literally hang up. He told me that they are booked for a week out and he wouldn't even give me a suggestion as to what I should do. I expressed that I didn't appreciate being spoken to like he was and with that he started yelling at me " would you call a doctor and talk to him like that?" Trust me, I don't get mad. I tried getting a polite explanation, but that sealed it for me. Why would he be that busy so as not to be able to even troubleshoot my problem over the phone? I will choose to spend my money at another mechanic before ever going back here. One thing I never do is support rudeness. Customer service is so important in this day and age because there's so much competition. And FYI I fixed it myself. Google is amazing! read more
