I was already full from the onion soup and 1 piece of bread. For our celebratory dinner, we also split a dessert. I had read this place is known for their blueberry pie, which we were very interested in getting. Soooooooooo glad we did because it was EXCELLENT... and yes, it was a la mode... with vanilla ice cream. There was some crystalized sugar topping on the crust, which really added to the awesomeness of this dessert. We hit pay-dirt here. This meal was the highlight of our trip to Boothbay Harbor. The lobster meat came right out of the shell (shout out to some man on the dock who helped us Marylanders with some verbal direction) and were full and flavorful! We are big crab eaters but it takes about 6 or more XL crabs to feel as full as we did with one lobster! The onion rings and oysters were perfectly fried and just as delicious. The oysters came with fries (which explains the ketchup) as well and all were large portions. It was the perfect location too! Not noisy, beautiful scenery, and just all around a great atmosphere.
