At one point, she was speaking in her native language with the tech that was doing my mother's nails. My nail tech then told me what they were talking about because she knew that I did not understand them and I thought that it was very kind of her to do that. I had a Groupon for a mini spa pedicure and a dip powder manicure. I came on Christmas Eve and had no problem making a phone appointment. I was greeted at the door and was offered water or tea. For tea, you have the option of getting jasmine or black. The mini spa pedicure included a scrub that went up towards my knees. My legs were then wrapped with plastic wrap to maintain moisture while I got the rest of my pedicure. The shape of my nails is great and I like application. My big toe nail chipped a little the next day but that may be due to my own fault. My nail technician was Yoyo and she did a great job. I got color #1 for the SNS nail dip. They did 3 layers which is thicker than I like but it looks great overall. I didn't like that there was gunk under my nails after the appointment and that it had that tacky "skin is stuck to nails-feeling" but it was easy to clean up myself. They were playing Christmas music during the entire time and I thought that was festive and fun. They also had a dog movie playing on the TV so I was entertained the entire time. After my manicure, I was given a light shoulder massage. My technician had the tiniest hands. I was also given a Christmas gift when I left. This was so sweet! It was a cute nail clipper and a modern glass nail filer.
