By the way ladies, gel is the only way to go, they last almost 3 weeks! While they were finishing, the owner offered a free shoulder massage, which felt great! I love love love Cozy Nails. The owner is def. super nice. I once had a 9:30 am appointment, and the meters don't start until 10 am. He insisted I give him the quarters so he could put them in at 10 am so I didn't have to waste money. Very considerate. They do a really great job on nails and the extra details of the service really stand out. I usually go for a pedi and a gel manicure when I have a special occasion coming up. Pedi: They do the typical massage & lotion bit, but they also do a hot stone, which I love. Then they do the oil? bags on the heel of your foot. I've never had either of these 2 things done anywhere else. Mani: I do gel french. They last me an average of 3 weeks. Again the lotion & massage is nice. They do a great job of massaging out my hand. I always feel super relaxed after leaving here. The owner also does a brief shoulder massage and makes sure your back is supported by a pillow while you're sitting in the chair. I also feel very comfortable that everything is sanitized. They take a brand new packet of tools out and they put a plastic bin in the pedi seat. I get compliments on my nails every time. Costs me $65 altogether. read more

The pedicure I had was well done by a lady named Joann. I liked her ask for Joann. Now onto the shop; first focus should be management; a college age lady was having nails done w an entourage of 5 friends; they had thrown their winter coats all over the chairs and were sitting on all the customer chairs and left their used drink cups all over; the place is not tidy and this made it worse. As a manager I would of asked th to a. Hang up their coats; b. Sit in the waiting area and finally clean up after themselves! But the manager appeared to spend most of his time chatting w them; he needed to take it up a notch; he was turning away customers and not spending time on his managerial tasks. I was in a chair so these ladies were lucky; otherwise I would of done my polite I am sure your mother raised you better than this. Lovely little nail salon. My friend and I stopped by here on a whim with no appointment an hour before our dinner reservation nearby. She got a gel manicure for $30, which took about 30 minutes for her. I got a regular manicure for $10 which was LITERALLY THE CHEAPEST MANICURE EVER. I was actually a little nervous about how low the cost was that I gave her a 100% tip! They did an excellent job on my nails. I got a gradient of grey. My friend wanted to do a grey gel gradient, but they said it would cost her twice as much due to timing. Bumping down one star only because while I was there, a customer walked in saying that she had an appointment, and the gentleman there said "You're going to have to sit and wait, we can only do one person at a time." He said it rather sharp and rude. I almost felt bad being a walk-in! If you have an appointment set for a customer, you should probably do your best to accommodate her. Recently moved back to the tri-state area and looked on Yelp for a new nail salon. Cozy Nails came up, and they are even open on Sundays! So I got my nails done yesterday 12/2/18 for the first time and was thoroughly impressed. Although the salon itself is small, it is very clean. All of the tools Sunny used with me were from a sterilized package. Sunny took the time to clean my cuticles and even gave me a neck massage. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing experience with good outcome! read more

It turned out to be round and lumpy. The technician did not even completely paint around the tip of my nail which leaves it looking unclean. This place is great! I've been going since before the pandemic and they always did a great job on my nails, delivered great customer service, and were diligent about hygiene procedures. During COVID, they implemented an appointment system to space out customers and I am usually the only person inside which makes me feel very safe. I am so confused by the good reviews of this place- my sister and law and I came here last Saturday and we were so disappointed!! This place was terrible. The whole pedicure was rushed and they were not the most gentle. No special back massage when we were drying our feet.. we were rushed out of the chairs and then left alone. To top it all off, the owner literally asked for a tip so we felt awkward and begrudgingly left one- but they did not deserve it at all. I would never return. I'll give 4 stars for the courteousness and service, but negative 2 stars for the quality of the manicure. I just moved to Ridgewood and am looking for a new nail salon. Since this was the highest rated on Yelp, i thought it would be great. Maybe I should have been skeptical when there was no one else in the salon on a Saturday morning. The color selection was nice and I thought the gel manicure was good. And it was $30 which is much cheaper than I'm used to paying (~$45). But just three days later my gel started peeling off and by the end of week one, 4 nails were shot and looking horrible. I wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary, so no reason why this should happen. I've been getting gel manicures for about 5 years, every two weeks and this has never happened. I'm going to try other salons. $30 isnt worth it if it doesnt even last a week. read more

I couldn't have asked for a better nail experience than the one I received today at Cozy Nail. Not only are they open Sundays, (SCORE!) but they took my appointment for a mani/pedi just under an hour before closing time. I felt extremely welcomed from the moment I stepped inside. The owner of the store was very knowledgable and engaged in a great discussion with me about the different lines of nail polish so that I could choose the most appropriate brand for me. Two nail specialists worked on my hands and feet simultaneously to finish the job on time; I have never felt more pampered. Not to mention, the massage chairs are definitely worth checking out alone; they really targeted deep tissue in the lower back that I've yet to ever experience in a massage chair in a salon. Although the store was close to closing, everyone was very patient and meticulous about the care my nails were getting. I received a 100% top-notch manicure and pedicure for $45. As I finished drying, each staff member encouraged me to stay past closing time to ensure my nails wouldn't be ruined, meanwhile the owner contributed with a very wonderful and lengthy shoulder massage at the drying station. If you want to feel like a guest in someone's home when you're getting pampered, definitely go to Cozy Nails. Could not recommend highly enough! read more
