Reu is probably the best air conditioning technician in Southern California. He is very knowledgeable in identifying and troubleshooting AC problems. He has fixed my AC issues over the past 8 years and each time he repairs my AC perfectly. He is fair and he is honest and it's hard to find technicians like him today. I highly recommend Reu for air conditioning repair. read more

Reu. Is. The. Man. I was referred to Reu by a neighbor, who also loved his work, as our A/C was intermittently dying and not working well. I sent Reu a text and he responded promptly. He made his way to our house on the same day, was in-an-out in about 20 minutes and had our A/C going. 2 weeks later, still going strong with no issues!!! We have had several other A/C people out and no one, not one of them, could solve our issue. 20 minutes, problem solved, done! Wish we knew about him years ago. Do yourself a favor, if you have an A/C issue, call this man now!!! read more

I was referred to Cozy Air by someone that I trust. I was very impressed by their price for replacing my Air Conditioning and Heater. They were prompt, professional, knowledgeable, fast, did not waste time, no hidden cost and did efficient work. Reu is very trustworthy and reliable and you won't be disappointed. I would recommend Cozy Air to my family and friends anytime. I would like to say "GREAT THANKS" to Reu & all of you for doing a great job!!! read more

I had Reu stop by 2 properties to look at heaters that hadn't been operated in 15 years or so. Made an inspection, made adjustments, repaired damaged ductwork in the attic, fired them both up, and everything is working fine. I thought for sure I would have to replace at least one if not both. The cost was more than fair. Thank you Reu. read more

Reu and his crew are the best! We had our AC, Furnace, and Duct work replaced and they did an awesome job! They were in and out in less than 2 days. Great family owned business to work with! Awesome costumer service! Our home has never felt so cool. Thank you Reu! read more

Always gives me an honest assessment and never tries to get me to do anything unnecessary. 2 years ago. Reu relocated my a/c unit to the other side of the house. Awesome work! Today, he came out on an emergency call because my fan finally gave out on one of the hottest days. Fixed it quickly. Thank you Reu! read more

2 words... GOD SEND! Reu is amazing! He came in, inspected our unit, did his thing, an for the FIRST time in WEEKS, our home has gotten down BELOW 80 degrees! We knew there was something up with our unit but we weren't sure what. Since cleaning the filters (both air intake inside our house and the outside unit filters) didn't work we decided to finally call a professional. We fully expected to pay an arm, leg, foot and maybe an elbow to get it fixed based on a few friends' experiences. We were pleasantly surprised his price was very fair and reasonable. I expected it to be a long drawn out process but he was speedy. Even the way he walked around was with purpose. You can tell he was there to get the job done and not just collect a paycheck. After he finished up he even took time to explain to is what happened, how he foxed it, how to prevent it, and minor touches (also reasonably priced) he'd suggest we do to make our system more efficient. We offered to pay him in advance for the other work he suggested we do, but he wasn't comfortable taking payment for a job that wasn't yet completed. For me, this says a lot about his character. He could have easily jacked up prices ridiculously because of the heatwave and, I'm sure, an insane amount of calls, but he didn't. He could have easily taken my money and could have played games with the completion date but he didn't. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to anyone looking to get you AC unit fixed. I can't say enough good things about our experience with him today. My family and I are very grateful to him that we don't need to sleep in blistering heat any longer! read more

Reu is great. He and his team installed HVAC in our house three years ago. Cozy Air's prices were considerably lower than others, and they did an excellent job! We have enjoyed a cool house through our repeated heat waves. We had a small problem with the AC today (3 years later). He was able to come out on the same day and fixed it promptly. My husband offered payment, but Reu replied, " No problem; it's under warranty, and it only took me five minutes. You're all set!" Thanks for your reliability, Reu!!! read more

Our whole house fan blower motor was not starting and air conditioning conked out (what a time to happen with the current 100 degrees temps outside), sent a text to Reu this morning 10:30 am, waiting for him to return my call or text, next thing I know, he showed up in our Ring doorbell ! By 1:45 pm, our air conditioning is up & running ! Thats great & swift immediate service ! read more

This review is long overdue - this company is wonderful! I was a little skeptical as they didn't have any reviews yet, however my realtor who I totally trusted said some of her clients had used them and had great experiences. NO REGRETS! Not only were they they most reasonable, but they were the most responsive and easy to work with even though they are in West Covina and we are here in LA. Ryu worked with us and he was lovely - he came out, always on time, gave us a quote and STUCK TO IT. No surprises. He repaired and replaced ducting and vents on our new home and made quick and effective work out of it. We are talking a not-pretty 60's tank of a machine that hadn't been run in at least 20 years! When we purchased the home, the inspector said there was no way that thing worked. But Ryu had faith! He got it going in no time. It has gotten us through this very hot summer. He even cleaned out the intake among other little things to make sure everything was clean and ready to rock - and get this, he has come out several times SINCE to do small repairs on our ancient AC unit, always promptly (and kindly) responding to texts. When we finally replace our AC unit, they will definitely be the people we will go to. read more

I am so glad my friend recommended Reu. He and his crew did a fabulous job installing our new heating and air conditioning system. We were originally just looking to replace our 34 yr. old ducts, but decided it was time to replace everything. Reu did it fast and for a great price. read more

First I have to say that my air conditioner decided to leak water and cause my ceiling to cave in during one of our first heat waves. I started calling different companies to see if someone could come out and help me and I just got recordings that said, "We're sorry we have a two to three week waiting list, leave your name and number." I was starting to panic! Then I called Cozy Air and Reu picked up the phone and he was so nice and polite! He said he could help me out and come the same day! He texted me a little while later and gave me the time he would be there and then he texted me when he was leaving the job he was on to get to my house so I knew when to expect him. This is the most important thing to me: he could have taken advantage of someone in a desperate situation and overcharged me or looked for a whole bunch of things that needed to be repaired. He didn't. He found the problem, fixed it, and explained it all to me and only charged me a small service call fee. I do need to get some other small things fixed with my old unit, but they don't need to repaired right away. I will definately call Cozy Air for everything because of Reu's honesty and how hard he worked to help me! You won't be disappointed! read more

Woke up one morning freezing and we quickly realized our Heating unit stopped working. After calling others and getting the same message "We are booked 2-3 weeks in advance", I called Cozy Air and Reu came out the same day. He arrived as scheduled and proceeded to my roof to inspect my Heating unit. After spending 2-3 minutes of checking the unit, we found the problem. The fuses were bad. He replaced both fuses on the unit and left within 5 minutes. The total fee was $0.00, yes $0.00. I will be calling you guys soon to replace my unit as we discussed. Thank you Cozy Air!!!!! read more

Reu is awesome and really honest! He fixed our A/C and knew what the problem instantly! I highly recommend him!

I texted Cozy Air today, late in the afternoon the day before Xmas eve, and received a response nearly right away. They said they could come by closer to later that day. They found the problem easily and didn't want to charge for a finding a dirty filter and re-setting the sensor. Mind you, they had just come from Silver Lake and again was working late so close to the holidays - and despite spending time looking into the issue, was ready to leave without compensation. What a kind and wonderful business to come across. I should add, this was all handled remotely as I was setting this up for my mother's house, which makes me feel even better knowing I could feel comfortable sending over such great people to help my mom. And mom gave a thumbs up too! Thanks for making sure we were all warm for the holidays Cozy Air, you rock! read more

I use this company for my own residence and refer them out to all my clients. They recently installed central heat and air in my house and a nest thermostat, everything works great. They have done work on at least 20 homes of clients of mine and they are fantastic. They are fast, efficient, prompt, knowledgeable and they never try to upsell you. They always give logical answers as to why you need one product over another and what the cost breakdown is. Their prices are great and I just intrinsically trust them to do the right thing. I highly recommend them. Ask for Reu. read more

Service was great sent a text message and Reu responded back immediately. He was very flexible in working around my schedule. Showed up on time found the problem and resolved it quickly with a minimum charge. Checked out my vents and gas plumbing and said everything looked normal. No attempts to up sell or any of that. Definitely call him if I have any issues in the future. read more

I called to see if someone could take a look at our furnace since it stopped working suddenly. Also, wanted to make sure I installed the wifi thermostat correctly (C'mon, only 4 wires!). Reu, the tech, called me back to let me know he could come over and look over my situation. Within 15 minutes he had my system going (blown fuse) and even said my install was pretty good (Ha!) I received great service and was very happy with his work. He'll definitely be recommended to anyone I know needing HVAC work. Finally, a good and honest service technician...call....you won't be disappointed. read more

Cozy Air and Reu Avella are simply the best. They installed our a/c system a little over 10 years ago and, thanks to their quick and efficient service whenever we've had any small problem with it, it is still running great. I cannot say enough about Reu. He is quick, he is efficient, he is knowledgeable and he is honest. We are so happy someone referred him to us 10 years ago and we are happy to recommend Cozy Air and Reu to anyone looking for a good Heating and Air Conditioning Co. read more

Thank you again to Ray for the quick response to my A/C problem. With the excess heat, we came out in an hour. It was a quick repair and a fair price. read more

I don't usually write reviews, but I MUST today! Reu came out to service our fan that kept running non stop. He rewired some things, did a system check to make sure the AC and heat would turn on, and fixed the problem. He didn't even charge us anything for the visit. If I ever need anyone for any AC/Heating/HVAC work, he's definitely getting our business again! read more

Reu responded to my text very quickly and set up a time to inspect my central air unit the following morning. He was in communication that morning to update me on his ETA. After he arrived, he inspected my unit and found that nothing major seemed to need replacing right away, but perhaps in the future. He gave me some tips on how to more efficiently run the unit and didn't try to up-sell me on anything. And the best part of it all -- he didn't charge me a dime (even when I insisted on paying him something for his time and effort!). If and when I do need to replace some parts on my unit I will absolutely be calling Reu. Very professional and trustworthy! read more

I texted Cozy Air today to come and give me a quote on my AC Unit that's been leaking, he came as soon as he could to come and inspect and give me a quote, but come to find out that the problem was only about changing my filters. I hadn't replaced my filters in a while, but since we've been in this Heatwave, I was running my air non-stop and he told me that's why it was leaking. Thank you for being so honest. IF I ever need my AC Unit replaced, I will be calling Reu because I know that he will be as honest as they come. THANK YOU! And I will be changing that filter every month. read more

I cannot say enough great things about Cozy Air. Our AC unit went out Friday, in the middle of the heat wave. We called a technician who said he'd be at our house Saturday, between 12-1 PM. When it was obvious this guy was not going to show up, we called a couple places to try find someone to fix our AC system. We were lucky enough to find Cozy Air who was not only able to come same day, but also on time. He expeditiously figured out the issue, fixed it, and look at other parts of our unit just to be sure everything was in order. He did not try to up sell anything and the vents he recommended we changed he suggested we could find online at reasonable price. Then he presented us with the bill-mind you, we were desperate and willing to pay whatever to be able to get some cool air--but his bill was just for the service Call!!! That's it. No up-charge for emergency call or same day service. What a breath of fresh air (no pun intended) to find a service provider who's not only reliable and fair priced, but efficient and honest as well. Thank you, Cozy Air! read more

Okay friends! This is the best of the Best right here! We had our AC unit go out today. Of all days! Our warranty company could not get us a technician for days so they approved us to go outside of network "if" we could find anyone. On Saturday at 2:45pm we start calling anyone we could that was a Licensed HVAC technician... I then got a text response from Reu of Cozy air... he came in an hour. Diagnosed, had the part and fixed our system in 30 minutes... life is good again! I cannot give a higher accolade, recommendation. Kind, knowledgeable, efficient and beyond fair in price! read more

Reu is amazing. Cozy Air was originally recommended to us and they did not disappoint. They installed our AC, heater, and ran new duct work in a very timely manner. Just recently, our heater wasn't working and Reu returned my call quickly and was at our home within a couple hours. He diagnosed our problem and our heater was up and running in less than a half hour. There is no price gouging or overcharging. They are extremely reasonable.
