My first visit there was a mix up with my drink and when I drove up there was one car in the drive through and I waited 15 min for a latte. The manager was kind and corrected the drink order and refunded a portion. Today on my way to work I thought I would give it another try. I got a 1/8 moon latte and the drink tasted off. It wasn't as warm as usually (which I know I can ask for) but generally it isn't needed. The flavor pallet was off and as an espresso lover I got through three sips. I also got a sausage sandwich and blueberry scone. The sandwich I took one bit (granted I have never gotten before at any location) and it just felt so overly inauthentic I didn't finish it. I didn't expect and extraordinary flavor as it's fast food but Summer Moon in general has always been articulated well. The scone as well just didn't have the same freshness as other locations I frequent. I do think I may give the location more time to get settled as I have wanted a location closer to home and hope it helps.
