I brought in my laptop to have UbreakiFix repair a broken hinge on my laptop that controls the device opening and closing. Which cost $250. The service was done, and I am so grateful for that. However, having my laptop returned I immediately noticed that the sound on my laptop would turn on and off. I brought it back to UbreakiFix, and I was told to restart my computer. This did not work, so I brought it back, and I was told that my speakers were going out, and I would have to pay another $100-200 to have it fixed. Now that I have sat 2 weeks with my laptop in this condition, I discovered on the device that my Bluetooth is completely wiped out from my device. This was definitely NOT an issue prior to bringing my laptop in or else I would have paid $250 to have the Bluetooth issue repaired. I've tried to install bluetooth, run test on my laptop, and nothing is bringing it back. Test are showing that my speakers are working fine. Hence, why I am confused. I am currently in school, and I cannot listen to lecture videos, zoom calls, or anything! I am utterly frustrated at the fact that I would have to come out of pocket again for an issue that I did not cause. I am now having to find my own way of getting Bluetooth back on the device because I am afraid to take my laptop anywhere else, and I cannot afford a new laptop, hence why I took into UbreakiFix. My hope is that UbreakiFix can come up with a better solution to help their paying customers or simply be honest when a mistake was made on their end. Thank you.
