They make lame excuses about not being able to service older Macs, claiming Apple sets the rules. It is a lie, I worked for apple for 17 years and have verified with former colleagues and Apple Care about alleged restrictions. Simple things like replacing an SSD drive in a 2014 Mac book or track pad they refused to do; despite me offering to provide the part. I am dubious they actually service anything themselves but probably send it out to apple and mark up the repair. I offered to pay for whatever labor charge they required but they flat out wouldn't. Sure, it is their prerogative to do so, but don't advertise yourself as a service center if you are just going to try to upswell everyone. read more

My Macbook had an issue, so Apple Care referred me here. The repair ended up being too expensive (pretty much the cost of a new laptop) so I declined, so my review is on customer service. Polite employees, but not the greatest communication throughout the repair process - they told me I'd get a call within 24-48 hours with an update. Never did. I called them myself and spoke to a tech, who then said they'd call me within 24 hours with another update. That never happened either; I eventually had to call again. With any other product, I wouldn't mind waiting for calls, but I am a student and need my time and my laptop - prompt communication would have saved me anxiety about losing both. read more

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Store is under new management, Rand. He was condescending from the get-go for two separate phone conversations. Rudest customer service I've ever received. After eluding that I was stupid and then actually saying I obviously didn't know what I was talking about, he raised his voice over the phone. I then asked to speak with the manager. He laughed out loud and stated he was the manager. Loyal customer for years and 4 laptops have been purchased through them with no issues until this guy. Provided serial number, purchaser name and phone number for the purchases, and HE couldn't figure out what he was doing so he took his assumptions and frustration out on the customer. read more

My MacBook Air got destroyed traveling and the staff here helped me get everything off of it onto an external hard drive for my back up PC. It took a few days and they helped me find exactly what I needed and showed me how to use the hard drive. I dropped off a MacBook for a screen replacement. They quoted $500 a day later. I explained that was more than I was prepared to pay when a newer model was available for $999. They charged me a $50 diagnostic fee to pick it up. I wouldn't have been upset if they had told me that when I dropped itnoff, or if there was something for them to diagnose. I would give zero stars to this business, but that isn't an option so I'm forced to give them 1 star. I had a software problem with my brand new iPhone 13 (which was under Apple's warranty). I went in multiple times to try to get this simple issue fixed and received the most rude and flippant attitude from an employee named "Rand". After this horrific customer service he proceeded to charge me $30. I told him that it should be free of charge since it's covered under Apple's warranty but he continued to argue. I then had to get apple customer service on the phone and they verified there should have been no charge as my phone was under warranty. However, Rand still insisted that the $30 charge was valid. My phone still isn't fixed and I have spent multiple weeks trying to get a brand new phone fixed through this place. They have not been helpful nor courteous. read more

This place is the best if you have Apple products in your life. About two weeks ago my daughters iPhone locked up. We couldn't force a restart, power up, nothing but a blank screen. A teenagers nightmare. We took it in expecting to need to buy a new phone, but noooo, Mike worked some Apple magic and her phone is back in action. Today, I had my phone checked for the battery issue as I have had some problems. Mike again came to the rescue and provided a fix. I took my iPhone to get a battery replacement and came out with a good battery but the front and back camera didn't work. I emailed them as soon as I noticed the problem and they said bring it in. Brought it and they said they will fix it at no charge only to get call 3 days later telling me they will have to charge me for the full replacement of the iPhone. I told them no! They wasted my time and they made me take off my screen protector that I had bought and they offered to put a new one only to do a crappy job and started to bubble hours later. After buying multiple screens for my iPhone, they have communicated to me that I now have to go thru the company rather than bringing in the screen to Megabyte. I brought my computer in there and after 30 minutes of looking for the problem, they overnighted the part I needed (usually assessing the problem and ordering a part can take a week or more). I would like to preface this review by saying how I'm not trying to drag this business, but I think this business should REALLY improve their service and "communication" they offer to customers. I took my laptop here for "water damage", they told me they would analyze my computer and run test to see if there was any damage to my computer. I agreed and was told this would take 3 days AT THE MOST to complete the tests. needless to say, it took over a week to "compete theses tests". I was told I had MAJOR water damage to the computer and it would cost over $500 on top for the cost of the tests they had already preformed. I wasn't happy with this so I decided to take it to the Apple Store in Tulsa and see if I could use insurance or something. I also think I should mention how I called everyday to ask about a progress update on my laptop, and every time it seemed like an inconvenience for me to ask them this. After the information about paying over $500 was brought up, I declined service and told them I would be in to pick up my laptop the NEXT day. I hear up to the store and get there and THEY WENT AHEAD AND DID THE WORK ON MY LAPTOP THAT I DECLINED AND WANTED ME TO PAY FOR IT. excuse me? I explained how I declined this and requested it to be undo because I didn't want it. they took this "work" out in less than 5 minutes. fast forward to going to the Apple Store, my laptop had NO WATER DAMAGE or signs of work done on it.....? so what exactly was I expected to pay this ridiculous price for? I will take some responsibility by wearing my sorority letters to there and might have gave the impression that I had money to blow. I will NEVER use this "computer repair" business again nor will I refer this business to ANYONE who wants honestly and accurate communication. other than that, they were great!!!! read more
