Cox keeps raising the rates for just the basic cable while providing hardly any channels. It's as expensive for just a few stations as many providers charge for multiple stations when I canceled my cable service then they increased the cost for my Internet and my Internet is not reliable. Don't subscribe if you have other option. I would leave a negative if I could. I have had Cox for 6 years at my current address. They are the only ones with speeds high enough to support 2 working from home adults in our neighborhood . A neighbor cut our Cox line 4 weeks ago and we are STILL without service. Everytime I call I am told they cannot tell me when it will be fixed. I also have to call them every week to request a credit on my bill for that week. As soon as there are other options in my neighborhood I am dropping faster than you can say coxsux. read more

Worst customer service ever! We had a problem with C ox cancelling our cable service Bec cause of an internal error. After several calls to customer service to have our service back, they told us to go to a store. We went to this store, and after explaining our case to a representative and the store manager, she told us she couldn't do anything ton have our service back at the same pice we were paying before Cox internal error. When we told her that it was unacceptable, as it was not our fault and we never asked to cancel the service, she mistreated us badly, yelling at us in front of everybody in the store and saying she would call the cops if we were not leaving immediately. Also as a farewell, when we were leaving the store she said "I hope you cancel all the services because Cox doesn't want you as customers" We just wanted the same services and price we had before Cox internal mistake. read more

We had to wait over 6 weeks once we went into the office to try to get connected and our property manager had to call four different months in a row with absolutely no response from them we would not recommend them the professionalism on the telephone lacked everything it would be better to pay a little extra and go with AT&t then go with people who don't seem to give any care about who you are what you are anything so we would not recommend this place at all read more

Cox is the absolute worst company in NWA. If you have an issue they will not listen and certaily won't resolve it, but they will charge you for the month you went without having any internet service. when they hooked up our internet they left the line above ground running over our driveway. It got cut by our lawn mower and it's been over a week without getting the issue resolved, meanwhile you can't speak with anyone in billing so that we won't be charged for a service we aren't getting. the customer service literally said he can't speak with any of our technicians. It's not possible For him to then hung up on us. You call cooperate and they will say the same thing. So who runs their technician department??????? read more

If you are thinking of moving to the area and need fast, reliable internet you may want to rethink relocating here. There is little competition and they seem feel no pressure to provide reliable service. I day trade and have experienced outages at the same time 3 days in a row. Last week there was an outage they said would be a couple of hours. Twelve hours later it came back. The staff I have encountered at Cox try hard. They are not the ones that allocate equipment or decide maintenance policies that result in poor service. Perhaps if they diverted marketing funds to providing good service they wouldn't need the marketing. read more

Called cox about no tv at all. All that would come up was welcome. They said it would be 4 days before they could get to me. When the repair guy got there he had to replace the tv box. He said the guys that set it up always use the 1st generation box which is a bunch of crap. I have no idea why they do that.He also set it up so I could use just one remote instead of two. The installer didn't even bother to do that. 1 star for cox and 5 stars for the repair guy. I will discontinue service as soon as my contract is up. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS CABLE PROVIDER!! This service provider has been the worst experience I have ever had with any cable provider I have ever had in my life!!! Cox is accommodating when making a sale to set up service. From there it is downhill. Service issues are not handled promptly. Representatives blame users and any other factors other than accepting that equipment is faulty. Don't expect fair bill adjustments after weeks of poor service due to faulty equipment. They just don't care once you are hooked into a contract. read more

They upped my price after 1 year. It went from $146.25 to $171.84 without any notice. They said I agreed to a 2 year agreement but cannot produce the agreement. Cable goes out all the time. Not worth what I was paying, let alone a higher price. When I picked up my equipment, they told me I was "locked in" for 1 year (even that wasn't volunteered--I had to ask). Nothing about 2 year. I didn't sign anything but they said I HAVE to pay the higher amount for another year. Don't get mixed up with these people if you can help it. Try to stay out of their jurisdiction. This sounds a little like fraud to me but I'm 70 years old. I was always told that if you didn't sign anything, you could not be held liable. Apparently not true. read more

Cancelling and going to ATT for internet. Cancelled TV 3 months ago . Bentonville service was awful and expensive. They charge me 83.00/month for "high speed" internet.. network down at least once every week which necessitates a wifi/cable reboot. Once or twice a month, service is out for several hours. ALSO, periodically get a "not enough bandwith"... have 1 tv on .. no other internet access. Now, they are going to bill me for exceeding my "data plan". I am torn on this one, today we had exceptional service and got a terrific deal, thank you Brandon! That said I have been here previously and had to wait a long time, talk to people who weren't terribly helpful and it's also really hard to not connect the store with the awful service you get from cox on the phone. We have had Cox for 15 years and we are ready to move on. We live in Monte Ne (Rogers). It seems for the last few years or so, we have had at least one problem per month with our high speed internet. They often tell us it's our modem and we have to purchase a new one, and we do. Then it starts all over again. Last week we were out of service for a complete day, this past weekend, the same. And now, we're out again! The modem won't reset. They're scheduling a service call, TWO DAYS from now, within a 2 HOUR WINDOW! Yeah, right. read more

They hooked up my cable and I told them I didn't want the modem I had my own. Cable guy took it back with him. When I cancelled service they billed me 100 bucks for the modem I never even had. I tried to explain but they said either pay or they would turn it over to the credit bureau. They forced me to pay for a modem I never used or had. Never will I ever use Cox again. Absolutely great "in-person service" but the quality of internet service to my home in Centerton is terrible. I've called in numerous times to tech support, had them at my house, and still no solution. I am a new customer who has never had Cox service before. I've had it for nearly 3 months and it's still not right, despite my multiple calls for resolution to the issues. I'm a number, not a customer. Every night we have the same issues. Horrible service. Cox charged us for a cable modem that we never received and refused to take the charge off, and said they would report it to the credit bureau if we didn't pay. What happened was e signed up for internet, and the cable guy brought a modem, and we refused it and told him we already had one. He took it with him but for some reason reported to Cox that he had "received" the modem. Then when we moved, they claimed we still had the mode and would not back down charging us for it. Thus, I paid for a modem I never even saw but in doing so learned that AT&T is much cheaper, better service, and more reliable. Do yourself a favor and forget Cox---- I learned the hard way. read more
