They make it very difficult to talk to a human. The bot is brain dead. Very poor customer service.

AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS…read more I read the previous review from "vincent k." down below and decided to give K and B a shot against my better judgement... and he was spot on in his review. These guys are grifters through and through. Their M.O. is to up charge just because the don't like dealing with a specific customer, and they aren't even coy about it. Here's how that went down. I called and asked for an estimate to get a single cable of CAT5 pulled through EXISTING conduit from my office to a data room a few units over. 250ft in cat 5 is needed, as shown in their own original estimate. The conduit ALREADY HAD FISH TAPE IN IT, but I wasn't there to do it my self as I am out of state, so I decided to give them a go. The estimate comes back for $700.00. mind you, nothing is itemized, explained, and there is a vague "ADMIN FEE" listed but doesn't specify how much of the $700 invoice this makes up. Being that I work for a business, there's a lot of red tape to get projects and expenses like this approved, so I ask on the phone about what the admin fee is and the charged amount for this fee. I get sternly told that its for paperwork and doing a "site walk" and that it was $160. Seems steep but ok. I get this charge approved as I really just need the work done, but by now its been over 5 days and the original estimate has expired. Then I get a text message from them at 7pm on a Tuesday (first day back after a 3-day holiday weekend) stating that quote has expired and I told them I could pay immediately and that it just got approved, to which the response is "we will call for payment details". As you can guess, nobody ever called, in fact, all I got was an email with a newer, more expensive and even more vague total of $750.00. now i need to look unprofessional in front of MY superiors and try to explain why the mysterious charge went up $50 more, when I couldn't even explain the initial charge to begin with. I get told by K and B that this is "an updated admin fee". When I ask why? nothing.. I'm sorry, you're telling me that you increased the charge by 30% to $210 total for paperwork and site walk when literally nothing has changed regarding the scope of work, no other site walk was done, and no paperwork has been filed yet? That's a hard no from me. If anyone needs any other assurance that these guys are scammers and crooks, see the photos I've attached that detail everything I've typed here in proof. Please save your money, time and headache and go somewhere else, these people have clearly been inconvenienced by not receiving immediate payment and needing to send one more email, and tried to upcharge an already ridiculous "admin fee" of $160 to $210 with no rationale. I've seen "Nigerian princes" in my email inbox try harder to get money off of people for nothing in return. K and B is shameful and I hope this review keeps anyone else from going through what Vincent and I went through. Take your money elsewhere, these guys are crooks and don't even try to hide it.

Few you would argue that switch data center could withstand a zombie apocalypse onslaught and a…read moreSharknado simultaneously. vigilant does not begin to explain the posture here. I am not allowed to share many details but I will speak to the customer experience shortly. It already feels like you're in a jail cell all day but without the convenience of nearby bathroom facilities. The campus is sprawling. each building goes on forever. bathrooms and water are never near. It's not hard to get trapped in a set of hallways. Luckily there are cameras that are monitored in each area so the guards can get a good laugh at you before they finally send someone to break you free. you'll probably get scolded and or condescending to about your mishap for days to come. Dropping off and receiving equipment is pretty straightforward here. I do appreciate that about them. Orderliness: They provide plenty of storage bins so that you can keep your cage looking nice. If there is any MooP (matter out of place) in your cage you can expect a visit from the "foreign contaminate" robot upon your return from lunch. what? references for Wall-E are dated? c'mon this place is just like that spaceship in that movie, LOL. oh yeah, they're pretty good actually.

Choosing Switch for our CoLo needs was absolutely the right decision. Against the competition,…read morethere really is no comparison. We had researched several other sites near the West coast and hadn't found the right fit based on pricing, time-to-cabinet-access, and ability to deliver services promised. When we visited the Switch facility in Las Vegas, we were blown away. I'll never forget walking by row after row of T-SCIFs, realizing that a considerable portion of the Internet surrounded me at that moment. After signing with Switch, it became apparent to us that their presentation of the facility on that first tour was not "special" in any way; it was an exact replica of how they conduct themselves through their website online, in their Sales team, and behind closed doors. This was greatly reassuring and only affirmed the decision we had made. It's easy to assume, seeing the high-tech, polished, flashy nature of Switch, that this is a premium data center with premium services. And you'd be absolutely right. But it would be wrong to assume their pricing is equally premium. As a growing (but small) cloud-services provider, we weren't interested in paying hundreds of thousands in "minimum fees" each month. So, when we were shown pricing that was not only less than what we expected, but even beat out more expensive competitors we were considering, it took no additional consideration for us to move forward. The good news is that Switch can meet your data center needs with highly competitive pricing at any scale--half-cabinet, all the way up to several rows--all while delivering the same premium service and facility access that they are known for. I highly recommend them to anyone needing connectivity, rack space, power, and cooling. You'll be just as blown away as I was and continue to be.
