I'll take unexpectedly good for $500, Alex…read more I'd driven by this place multiple times, and.... really had no interest in stopping to check it out. My loss. I finally went in because I took a wrong turn and was hungry. Wow. It's nice and clean. Everyone I dealt with was friendly. So, good first impression. I ordered the Too Hot To Handle, and really didn't have the highest expectation. I was pleasantly surprised when my food came out in a cool little skillet thing, and was not the elbow-mac I'd imagined, but the cool hollow spiral thingies. The googles tell me that it's cavatappi pasta. It tasted fantastic, but the real surprise was that it was actually spicy! Yeah, the menu goes into detail about what's in it, but in this area, people can't seem to handle almost any heat, so it was yet another pleasant surprise. One of the best bowls of mac and cheese I've ever had. So yeah. Really cute little restaurant with insanely good mac and cheese. I'd go as far as saying that if you're in town, and plan on going out for mac and cheese, don't consider going anywhere else. This is the spot.

Anything that combines bbq meat and cheese has got to be good... The building and atmosphere were great...modern, clean, vibrant - with a little country music playing in the background. You order at the counter, then take a number and they deliver it to your table. I loved the presentation - a heavy cast iron skillet preloaded with a real metal fork...ready to be enjoyed. Per her son Parker's recommendation, I ordered the BBQ Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese with Carolina Reaper cheese added - the 'Parker Special'. Boy was it delicious - moist, flavorful pulled pork, tangy bbq sauce, creamy cheese...and a little bite from the Carolina Reaper cheese! I highly recommend this restaurant and this dish and can't wait to return to try some other options. Need some fun souvenirs/ products handmade with love from North Dakota, South Dakota, or Minnesota?…read moreMaybe? Not Really? Well, dontcha know-- Minn Dak Market is the place for you! Located in the West Acres Mall in Fargo, Minn Dak sports tons of local business efforts. As someone who grew up in North & South Dakota, I never even realized there were that many brands that come from our homeland, but it was so fun to see and definitely made me feel a sense of pride over how far we've come. You can get some pretty classic tacky tourist stuff, like "uffda", "doncha know", "ope", or other funny Minn- Dak sayings on magnets and stickers. There's lots of college gear from UND or NDSU to sport and decorate with. But the food products are by far the spotlight here- the newly famed and ND originated Dot's pretzels are of course sold here. There's locally based chocolates, cheese, jams, honey, hot sauce, peanut butter, popcorn and so much more. You can spend a lot of time just walking around the store and seeing all there is to offer. This was the perfect place to buy my FL friend some homegrown ND stuff. The young man working was also super helpful when I asked his opinion on what to get my friend (should have gotten his name!). This is a great store promoting and showcasing hardworking north Midwesterners products, and yeah you betcha at pretty reasonable and affordable prices. I'll definitely be back!

This store has a plethora of Minnesota and North Dakota items. I was looking for art--they had a…read moreFargo map whose design didn't interest me. Lots of foods: licorice, dips, cheese, seasonings. Then dish towels, cutting boards, metal art, home decor. I liked that they had a box which you could fill with a variety of items for a ready made gift box.
