Super cute place. Clean and quaint. Great flavors. Great service. Great prices! Even have take out ice cream options.

1 scoop coffee ice cream. 1 scoop cookies & cream

1st time here. The place was clean and neat inside. The staff was friendly. I chose 2 scoops of ice cream on a waffle cone. The cookies and cream flavor was very good! The coffee flavor ice cream I hardly tasted any coffee flavor. If you like coffee ice cream pass on this flavor here. The ice cream is not hard and dense. It is rather soft, but not like soft serve ice cream, but soft and kind of airy.

The ice cream servers were very sweet and friendly offering samples if you were sure what you wanted. The line went quickly. The ice cream was good and the store was clean and quiet.

Great location located in downtown Fargo. Plenty of street parking, if it's not a busy day. They do have two non-dairy options and one fully vegan option. I did not know that only one was vegan. I thought they were all vegan, but I appreciate the thought that they have an option Area clean, and the workers were friendly considering we went on a Saturday night. Not a ton of indoor seating, but there were a few.

    Bruh..

bad.. not even bronze lining creamery.. just air inside of a waffle cone with ice cream on top. kind of bogus. Do not recommend if you want ice cream.

I LOVE this place. I honestly come here every time i visit Fargo every week, even when the temperature is -4 degrees! lol As soon as you walk in you get a sweet yummy smell of waffle cones! Then you are greeted with some friendly smiles. You can try as many flavors you like with no extra eye rolls from them! They usually have new flavors every time I've gone. It's always nice and clean in there, and the ice cream..... OH MY GOODNESS!!! So creamy, so tasty, just melts in your mouth deliciousness. If you want some amazing ice cream, even in the freezing cold like me, I recommend you come here. You will not be disappointed!!

My boys loved their ice cream! Good prices. Interesting new favors and great service. Cute murals outside of place too to take photos. Would recommend a spot here.

Yummy cool treats!! Lots of choices of flavors and treats. We enjoyed the varieties of samples :)) Friendly helpful service staff and cute ambiance:))

They have a 4 flavor boat option that we loved!

Really great ice cream! Loved the option of getting 4 little scoops in a boat since I am someone who is indecisive and gets easily overwhelmed! Service was quick and friendly. Store felt very clean and has cute murals outside to take photos with.

Loved this place! Stopped in Fargo on the way home to MN and had to try this place. Nice small little shop, lots of options and reasonably priced. My mom got the Pistachio Ice Cream in a cone and loved it. My chocolate concoction was spectacular Super creamy ice cream. Would recommend

The service was great and there were a lot of different flavors. We did enjoy sitting and listening to the music while eating our ice cream. It was delicious and perfectly sweet.

Humor me for a second: is there ever a place, whether restaurant, store or whatever that you don't want to like, and it's not really for any good reason other than because it's really popular and "mainstream"? Anyone follow? Well, that was Silver Lining Creamery for me. But the more I've visited the more I've come to begrudgingly really enjoy it. It grew on me. Silver Lining is just too adorable and uplifting. It's such a dainty ice cream shop and you can feel it's sincerity in the setup and workers. What I love even better is that it's locally owned and run- there's only 2 locations: this one in Fargo, and one in Rapid City, SD. Dakota owned, as it says in the shop. And coincidentally, I was born in Rapid and graduated high school in Fargo, so both those cities are very important to my upbringing and have a special place in my heart, and that only increased my appreciation for Silver Lining too. And, their ice cream is actually good! The Oreo Lovers is an accidental discovery that's fantastic- this is how all cookies and cream ice creams should taste, wowza! Even their sorbet is pretty darn tasty and tart. They switch up the flavors each day to keep it interesting too. Silver Lining has earned my respect!

    The line!

What a neat joint! The line was out the door; the ambiance was warm and inviting, and I got served quickly and the ice cream was incredible! I really enjoyed their variety of flavors and I will be back to visit this one again. Also, I paid less than $6 for two nice scoops of ice cream in a bowl. Had I not just ate dinner I would have had one of their amazing decorated waffle cones. Overall my favorite stop of the night!

So good! If I'm back in Fargo! This will be my stop!

The ice cream was tasty, but the wooden spoon they give you to eat it with detracts from the flavor.

This is somewhere I love to take people who haven't been to Fargo much. It's something that most all people can enjoy, plus the shop is super cute. It's in a newly modernized alley of downtown called Robert's Alley, which can be confusing to find until you are a little more familiar with the area. I think there is maybe a parking garage nearby but your best option is to just park along the street or somewhere downtown and walk. You can only get to Scoop N Dough by walking, biking, or other non-motorized vehicular routes. Though the experience of cookie dough & ice cream is great, I do think it's pretty extravagant. The cookie dough is incredibly sweet and rich, and I can never finish my cup because it almost makes my stomach hurt, it's just too much for me. So that's just a warning- it still tastes fantastic and is fun to try at least once. And I did see they are getting another location along 32nd Ave, almost in West Fargo, which is cool!

The flavored popcorn is a nice addition as well. If you are not familiar with the area, the entrance is located in the alley, not far off of 2nd Ave N. This is an excellent addition to downtown Fargo. For these warmer months, their outside "wall" is an overhead door that opens up into the alley, with some additional seating.

We r not smokers and don't like being around smoke. She was polite with a delightful demeanor and said she would be right with us. She said 2 of the options we wanted were not available. 'They just got a new shipment & she didn't have time to unload them yet' (yet she had time to smoke a cigarette) She said it would take 6 minutes for the brownies to be done... she was smart enough to give my Moms brownie and ice cream first while we wait for the brownies. I sat there and waited about 10 minutes while she was in the back the whole time.. no update..then a crowd came in and she helped about 6 more people which took another 10 minutes.. Then a lady asked for one of the cookies I asked for which she said was unavailable... but the worker told the lady it would be a 20 minute wait, so after she was finished helping that lady and was on her way to the back, I asked if she could add one for me too. She said 'exchange it with a brownie?' I said 'no, just add it'. She asked me again and I said it again.. seemed like she was trying to get out of doing more work. I waited another 15 minutes & by this time my Mom was finished with her brownie for 10 minutes.. the worker was in the back and two more workers just got there so they were telling each other about the day... she finally came out with my brownies 30 minutes after we had ordered to tell give them to us. I had to remind her I hadn't paid for the cookie yet.. she politely rang me up and gave me the receipts as requested. I really didn't like the lack of communication. Maybe they were short staffed.. I won't be going back there even if my Mom wants to. Bad taste in my moth before I even got a chance to try their product. I'm saving it for when I go home.

This store is open from March 1st through October 31st. It's closed for Easter Sunday and July 4th during this period. It's open from 10 am till 10 pm during this seasonal period. I came when it was closed last month. It was worth it. I got to take a photo of the world's largest dilly bar at its birthplace. It's cool and impressive! This DQ is historic. It's one of the oldest ones in the States. It was opened in 1949 by Bob and Phyllis Litherland. The torch (maybe dilly bar is more appropriate) was handed over to current owners, Troy and Diane DeLeon in 1995. The way things work is that you walk up to the window when it's open. There should be menus on either side. You order, pay, and you get your goodies there. I saw a sign for curbside pickup, which is nice that it's available. There is patio seating outside. This store looks tiny that I highly doubt that there is any room inside to sit down and enjoy frozen treats. I was thrilled to have dropped by. I'm not sure when I'll be in the area when this DQ is open. I'd be happy to stop by for a dilly bar and more when the timing is right. (4)
