Cambodian store, the store smalls and very dirty, frozen food in the freezer for many years untill…read more the food rots and very smells bad, many kinds of vegetables are rotten but still sold, expensive, most of the vegetables are not fresh, store is not up to standard. There are cockroaches running around. Hey should improve the cleanliness and not sell at too high prices. The store smells so bad it makes .....want to vomit... -you like to look down on Asian customers even though you are Cambodian -i would like to recommend an Asian store in Fargo, ND called American Asian market. Vietnams store lots of products, new , clean, fresh food, Great service.

I have to say that Im EXTREMELY dissapointed in this market. When I 1st came here, I was excited bc…read moreit was so big. It seemed like everything was in there. The Cambodian seems nice but if you keep coming here you start to notice some questionable/shady things. Lets start off with me being in line to checkout & noticing the Agege bread was rotten with mole in it. I kid you not. I brought this to the cashiers attention & she just said " Oh really!? I'll let the owner know. Than I bought my toddler Cerelac from there, when I got home, there was some black specs in it & I checked the expiration date, Cerelac was expired. Well like a fool, I went back there for a 3rd time, and I bought a whole fish from here. When I got home & went to start preparing it, I was SHOCKED to see that the fish wasnt scaled. This is the 1st time in my life, being here in America, that I bought a fish from a market, and the people working there didnt remove the scales from the fish before selling. Like who does that??? Apparently Lotus Blossom. Oh Im not done yet. The Guinea fowl chicken that they sell, it was whole & I asked them if they could cut it up into pieces for me, they said No they dont cut chicken. No you people in there are just lazy AF! How can you have a fish & meat section with a butchery in the back & you dont cut your meat or scale your fish? And on top of it, majority of your food is expired. This is how you treat your customers? Listen you people in there need to get your ish together before the Food & Drug Administration come in there to inspect the place. Bc if they do, this place will be shut down. Maybe if you need to buy Palm oil or noodles, you can come here but anything serious, NO WAY. Once again, Im so dissapointed in this place

Need some fun souvenirs/ products handmade with love from North Dakota, South Dakota, or Minnesota?…read moreMaybe? Not Really? Well, dontcha know-- Minn Dak Market is the place for you! Located in the West Acres Mall in Fargo, Minn Dak sports tons of local business efforts. As someone who grew up in North & South Dakota, I never even realized there were that many brands that come from our homeland, but it was so fun to see and definitely made me feel a sense of pride over how far we've come. You can get some pretty classic tacky tourist stuff, like "uffda", "doncha know", "ope", or other funny Minn- Dak sayings on magnets and stickers. There's lots of college gear from UND or NDSU to sport and decorate with. But the food products are by far the spotlight here- the newly famed and ND originated Dot's pretzels are of course sold here. There's locally based chocolates, cheese, jams, honey, hot sauce, peanut butter, popcorn and so much more. You can spend a lot of time just walking around the store and seeing all there is to offer. This was the perfect place to buy my FL friend some homegrown ND stuff. The young man working was also super helpful when I asked his opinion on what to get my friend (should have gotten his name!). This is a great store promoting and showcasing hardworking north Midwesterners products, and yeah you betcha at pretty reasonable and affordable prices. I'll definitely be back!

This store has a plethora of Minnesota and North Dakota items. I was looking for art--they had a…read moreFargo map whose design didn't interest me. Lots of foods: licorice, dips, cheese, seasonings. Then dish towels, cutting boards, metal art, home decor. I liked that they had a box which you could fill with a variety of items for a ready made gift box.

Let me start off- this store is called *ALDI*- not ALDI's-- there's no 's' to be found anywhere in…read morethe name, it's just ALDI, alright?? (not to be aggressive, but my mom always puts an 's' on things when they AREN'T there, why is that such a mom thing?? lolll) The more I visit ALDI's, the more I like them. They're not a snobby, high end grocery stores by any means, and I love that. They sell a lot of the same things you can find at Target, Walmart or other, except for way better prices. I mean, this also means they are kind of random brands that no ones ever heard of, but they do the same thing for a lower price so I can't see why that would ever be a problem. Yes, ALDI doesn't have ALDI-eeze things (they don't have necessarily everything you might need in a store run, sorry I had to take that pun opportunity), of course, but this location in South Fargo has the most of a lot that I've seen. One of my favorite things to get here, randomly enough, is their protein powder. They have two simple flavors- vanilla and chocolate, but they're fantastically priced and taste really good post workouts, so if you're an active person I'd give them a try. Also, if you want to use a shopping cart when you go to ALDI, make sure you have a quarter on hand. I'll let you figure that out for yourself. Also, they don't provide bags of any kind for your items, so make sure you bring your own or buy one at checkout. Let's go ALDI way now- to ALDI! (slight cringe)
