Great evening driving down to the Red Cliffs Lodge . Locally sourced expertly prepared modern west cuisine by Executive Chef KC Fazel at the Cowboy Grill. This is certainly a contender for a James Beard award Stunning views and location. We had the Local Utah Red Trout Pine Nut & Pecan Crust, Lime Cilantro Browned Butter and Spicy Cabbage Slaw and the Braised Bison Short Rib. Whipped Potatoes, Shoestring Fried Onions and Bison Demi-Glace. Cowboys never had it so good. It's no wonder that film production companies stay here. This place is a diamond in the desert and will be our place to stay when visiting again, they make you feel like family.

Enjoyable experience. Yes, the views are outstanding. I'd much rather be here when it's warm enough to dine on the patio! We started with spinach artichoke appetizer ($7) - while it was light on spinach and heavy on artichoke it was pretty tasty. My bride ordered the Salmon ($22) and it was good. I went with the Trout ($20) and it was excellent! Service was friendly and fast.

We were in UT to visit the National Parks and while in Moab we went to The Cowboy Grill! It was the best dinner that we've had in a very long time! The service was excellent and such a nice atmosphere! I highly recommend it! We both had the Utah Red Snapper Crusted with a side of mashed potatoes and it was a dream!

Cheese board, boxers fracture (lime) & passion in the desert (lemon)

This place earns an extra star visit for the views and the drive in. My friend and I decided to treat ourselves here and had mixed reviews. Overall everything was good but not great. To drink, I had the boxers fracture and really liked it, she had the passion in the desert and wouldn't order it again. The cheese board was a nice variety but we had no idea what we were eating- there were so many cheeses and I wish it was listed or told to us when it was served! We both had steaks which were fine & shared the Mac and cheese and the broccolini. The Mac & cheese was a disappointment but the broccolini was nicely cooked. The best part of the meal was the tiramisu- definitely recommend!!!!

In my trip to #moab #utah , I had chance to enjoy the most beautiful dinner view at The Cowboy Grill at Red Cliffs Lodge . I had a nice spot in their fine dining room with all view of green Colorado river reflecting with red towering rock cliffs . The color of the view naturally changed based on sunlight, which is beautiful green-orange to lavender-gray when to sun down . That view is the most amazing gem of the dining room . Also , the menu was very shining with different options of steak . They have good quality #beef. And you can choose different types of meat such as elk . I had American wagyu with baked sweet potato and veggies , I ordered the steak with medium cook and it came out amazing. If you want to try something new I highly recommend the Elk Medallions . The price tag of each dish is around $30-$40 , that's too cheap for millions dollars view of the restaurant. Highly recommend when you have chance to visit Moab , UT.

Pleasant location. OK food. Don't go if your group is eight or more. Our server couldn't handle.

Went for the view as our food expectations were limited. Patio was not open for lunch. Food was as expected, mediocre. Staff was fine.

For a place tucked away on the Western Slope, the quality, consistency, and friendliness have always felt like a hidden gem. Over the years we've dined in and done plenty of takeout, and the food has almost always been flavorful, hot, and comforting. Favorites like the sweet-and-sour chicken, lo mein, Mongolian beef, soups, and egg rolls have been reliably delicious, and the staff has consistently been warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. You really feel that family-run pride when you walk in -- from the calm atmosphere to how quickly and thoughtfully everything is served. Like many longtime customers, we've noticed a few changes recently with ownership and packaging, and on a couple of visits the portions or consistency didn't feel quite as strong as they used to be. That said, we truly believe this place still has the heart, recipes, and potential that made it such a favorite for so many years -- and we're rooting for them. Running a small restaurant today is no easy task, and we appreciate the effort that goes into keeping a local business alive and thriving. Dragon Treasure is still a place we happily recommend to friends passing through town, and we'll continue supporting them. With a little fine-tuning, it has all the ingredients to remain one of Fruita's best comfort-food spots for many years to come. A genuinely good local restaurant run by kind people -- and definitely worth stopping in for.

Always a great experience!…read more I heard this place got a new owner, so I was really excited to try it and see if any of the recipes have changed. I got it to go because I was meeting my friend for a catch up! I got the sweet-and-sour chicken with fried rice. It tasted how it normally does so I don't think anything changed which is good for me because I love the flavors that the original recipes have. The crunchiness of the chicken with the sweet and savory of the sauce. Always a great go to choice. I definitely love this place and I'm very excited that the recipe did not change so I will for sure be going back next time. I'm in town!

Read my previous review. The back-bone of this restaurants' customer base were long-time older locals from GJ, who had grown used to the personalities of these ladies, some of them having worked here for 13+ years. The new owner deceived the employees that they would retain their jobs, meanwhile training a whole new staff he could pay at a lesser wage. He then methodically fired (not laid off) all the veteran waitstaff right before Thanksgiving. I hope that this incident is the first thing that pops up whenever someone Googles RAUL & CATHY WOLF.
