They will waste your time, your money, and your patience. The staff acts like they're doing you a favor just by acknowledging you, when in reality they can't be bothered to lift a finger unless it's to run your card. My "repair" took weeks longer than promised, cost way more than quoted, and the car came back with NEW problems it didn't have before. When I pointed this out, they shrugged it off and tried to upsell me on even more repairs. The shop itself is a mess--looks like no one there has cared in years. Phones go unanswered, no one knows what's going on, and accountability is nonexistent. I wouldn't trust these people to check tire pressure, let alone touch a transmission. Save yourself the headache. Go literally anywhere else. Hopefully this shop can serve the city better when it gets turned into a parking lot.

Big D is a fantastic stop for two groups of motorcyclists: (1) the general motorcycling enthusiast…read morewho wants to see the beautiful bikes of yesteryear in running shape, and (2) the rider who wants scare his neighbor with a fast, loud cafe racer from England. Big D has a fine collection of different Norton, Triumph and other assorted bikes from the late-60s to the early-80s in immaculate restored condition. For the uninitiated, there is a slight learning curve involved in transitioning from a modern electric ignition bike with standardized shifting to a classic euro bike. First, there's no electric start. You'll be getting vigorously acquainted with a kickstarter on most of the models. Second, there is a variety of shift patterns, some are left side, some are right side, some are 1d5u, while others are 1u5d. Best of luck remembering. The last thing to remember about riding around on a loud, fast cafe racer from England is that the bikes of yesteryear shake. And how. It is not uncommon to arrive at a destination to find out your taillight is barely hanging on by the last thread of only one screw as it has backed out and is now trying to leave you. This is part of the allure of fun old bikes. You get to tinker. And who better to ask how to trick out your cafe racer than the staff of Big D. These guys regularly swing down to the Saltflats and have run streamliners and set records. They have bikes in fully restored conditioned, and in rolling frames. If you've got questions, they've got answers when it comes to the classics. This is a must-stop on a Saturday ride around the Metroplex.

However, the other guys did not install my manual shifter correctly after 2 attempts & having my car for over 1.5 months. The shifter when installed correctly, is supposed to prevent anyone from going to into reverse instead of 1st gear. I was told to drive it a bit & bring it back, that happened twice. The problem was never fixed. You would think they would work on it right away since they had already received my payment but my car was thrown to the back of the line. I found A-2-Z based on their stellar reviews, and I'm certainly glad that I did. Tim at A-2-Z examined the car in full and noted to me that while the oil leak was a concern, what was far more problematic was that the rear suspension of my car was hanging on by a thread. Long story short, he was able to secure the new part to replace the rusted one I needed at a great price from a junkyard, and he took care of the oil leak (while replacing old spark plugs) at a reasonable price for the parts and labor involved. When I came to pick up the car, he and Mike showed me the trashed part that was replaced on my car. The back end of my car was so rusted that it could have snapped. Now, my car has new life and will keep going safely for another year or two until I'm ready for a new vehicle. If you're in the Royse City area, you can safely trust your vehicle to the staff at A-2-Z. These guys are great!
