They said their goal is to deliver all their promises, I can tell you they totally exceeded my every expectation. I was so lost, confused, I had bought blinds and drapes before but was never excited about my decor. So their rep. named Kass, came right on time and I think he spent about two hours and possibly 5 trips to his car , not only he showed me their products but, gave me great sensible suggestions. I was scared after all his hard work he will pressure me into buying but he said he would only take the job if I promised I loved every choice and I was happy with the price. My budget was limited , So I was still scard I could not get the beautiful shades I had found , but he still managed to do lovely valances that is a perfect match to my furniture in our family room. He installed privacy blinds in bedrooms but added large wood cornices ( I had never seen those before)I am specially excited about our kitchen and sunroom and TV room. This was a bit pricy but my husband loves the remote control shades, plus with matching embellishments they look so professional and decorative. Oh, I forgot I wanted to review their awesome job not my decor, sorry, simply put Five Star. excellent bravo. I so highly recommend this Co. don't miss out folks. read more

Giving my living room a facelift seemed an expensive endeavour at first, going by the quotes I received from some firms I consulted for the job. Their quotes were just way out of my budget range and this really made me sad. A colleague at work heard me complaining to a friend and suggested covering windows, I did a bit of background check just to save myself from another disappointing appointment. what I saw really got my hopes up, they had various options which were very appealing. I took them up on the free home design consultation and after my appointment with Kass, my mind was made up immediately and I ended up remaking all the rooms in the house. Kass was just the right person to speak to after my previous experience, he carefully explained what options I could go for considering my budget, the type of blinds, shutters and draperies that would fit each room. I really appreciate his attention to details and customer service is highly commendable. At the end of the makeover, i can say I am well satisfied with them and they have managed to bring a fresh look to my home as a whole. They are true to their words of providing quality services to meet every budget without compromising on quality products and service . read more

My girl and I just got an apartment in German town and needed to tweak it a bit to suit our desires before we move in. So we called in and explained we needed security blinds and draperies to match our furniture and to keep the sun out if you know what I mean. They came over and I appreciate their keeping to scheduled time. After checking what we were dealing with, they gave a professional advice of an interior option for the security binds and the draperies would be custom made to fit the other furniture. I wasn't expecting anything less than a cutthroat quote at first but was marvelled at the quality of products they had readily available for selection, surprisingly at an affordable price. don't want to give too many details, but the automated security binds are of international standard, the draperies are so classy, you would can't beat the price anywhere. The installation phase was very professional. They were on time as scheduled (again) and it didn't take time to completely install the push button blinds and put up the drapes. after which they provided good information for usage and preservation. read more

I have not reviewed any business before, This company did so well I was compelled to take time to write this review even though we are not quite done moving. I called two other blind companies they just showed up and tried to sell me their special promotion and on sale items. None stopped to discuss my concerns. But Covering windows representative a very nice gentleman came and said his job was to get the best looking best value and quality window covering that was my pick not his. He gave me excellent suggestions. I loved their roman shades, we also bought solar shades for our kitchen and sunroom. Unlike others they have some of the most beautiful draperies I had ever seen. We did our entire house for $2845, I had asked the builder and their realtor and was told that this model home would cost $4000-6500 for blinds and shades. I am happy with my choices, I am happy with the installation. I am happy for the low price I paid . We move a lot this is my 7 th move. I can say this must be my best moving experience. thank you coveringwindows co. I give you five gold stars. read more

I really appreciate the staff of covering windows for providing my family with such professional service. Sunday, 14th October was my parents 35th wedding anniversary, my siblings and I made the decision back in July and August to remake our home in Ashburn Va as a surprise anniversary present. So we contacted covering windows and gave them some photos of the house they were to work on as we all live in various parts of the country. They promptly responded to all our requests and the decision was made on what needed to be done by both parties with a project deadline. they gave me a firm assurance we would get our hearts desire without breaking the bank and they were true to their words. After a 3 days boat cruise, my parents came home to a complete makeover. They love the newly installed French window frames, the blinds in dads office really made him smile from ear to ear. Mom just couldnt get enough of her new drapes. She loves something new about the house everyday. Once again thanks to covering windows for meeting up with the project withing such a short period. read more

I am feel our house looks perfect now, In our last home we ordered some blinds online, My husband ordered some at our local hardware store. We closed on our new home early Nov. had two other companies to come and give us quotes. They were both in and out in 20 mins. they emailed quotes a couple of days later. I remember we met with Kass, from Coveringwindows. He was prompt and professional and actually spent 1 1/2 hour. we looked at several choices. We learned a lot about our options compared prices and at the end he presented us with a detailed quote. I was totally impressed because their products and options were noticeably better in quality but they were a little cheaper then all others. They showed up earlier than two weeks and installed everything in 2 hours , they cleaned up and vacuumed. They made sure we were happy and explained care and warranty. My husband loves the shades because they have a nifty system that rolls down all by it self. I want to add give them a call knowing that every thing will go perfectly.good nite read more

Moving to a new place always comes with mixed feelings, there's excitement and there's a bit of skepticism about how well you might fit in to the new house, would you like it, would there be too much light coming in, if the neighbors are nosy, would the windows be too big, and how safe was the neighborhood. In the end you hope to move to a place that suits your life style and makes you feel at home as quickly as possible. Covering windows helped us achieve that at our new home. With professional and detailed service, Kass and his team, turned an ordinary modern day house to a sight to behold from within. The windows were remade and the blinds fit perfectly the way we like them. The drapes are of high quality materials with a smooth classy finish, it gives you that welcoming embrace you only get from a home you have lived for years. Covering windows was able to give us that experience sooner than we could have imagined. Am glad we made that call a few weeks back before moving in. read more

We moved here two years ago, our neighbors recommended Covering windows company. We bought our shades and blinds. They did a fantastic job, This year we painted and wanted curtains and toppers for our living room, dining room and family room, I called Covering windows for a referral come to find out they do curtains. They came over and took time to educate me on different designs, I loved their fabric choices. We got two level curtains in our family room, Swags in the living and dinning. They were pretty quick to sew the material and installed every thing yesterday. My Mom says I did well because she got her toppers and curtains in same rooms for almost twice the price. I like to give them 5 stars and note this family owned small company is trustworthy, clean prompt and they have ideas and fabrics I had not seen before. The thing is I could tell they wanted to do a good job, I am happy to recommend them, read more

I have never really paid so much attention to windows and what they portray about the house at large until my fiancée insisted we got professional advice for interior decoration for our new house in VA, she contacted her Aunt who stays over there and She recommended the Coveringwindows guys to us. I was scared of the pricing so I insisted my fiancee and I split the bill, but I was shocked when Kass gave us the total costing and then I started to think we were going to get a very low standard design because it was way below what Stella and I had budgeted. Well, I guess patience does play it part, because as at this time, I have recommended them to four of my friends. The look they have given our house is beautiful and no one comes to visit without saying a thing about them. Overall, they did a very good job and I thank Kass very much for all the professional advice and help he gave to us. You guys are really good read more

I cannot recommend Kass enough. My first impression of him was how prompt he was after initially contacting him following reading all of his five star reviews online. Kass personally responded within 24 hours and stopped by (accommodating our hectic work schedule) for a consultation. He brought over numerous samples, and while he is clearly an expert in the business, he patiently listened to my ideas (and our budget!) and suggested something better than we could've envisioned for our new space. He maintained communication during the whole process from ordering to delivery, and we couldn't be more satisfied or excited about the result! We were so happy with the first installation, that we wound up asking him to complete all three floors. Kass is a true gentleman, honest businessman, and a talented designer. If you want personalized attention and a beautiful result for your home, look no further! read more

It was a great experience with Covering Windows! We wanted to get stylish blinds for our home. After trying out other popular stores and being rudely treated, we called Covering Windows after reading the excellent reviews on Yelp!. We were looking for different types of window coverings for different rooms in our house, Kass showed up on time with about 30 different samples and catalogs for all the different types of window treatments. The samples ranged across the entire spectrum by price, design, style and maintenance. Kass patiently listened to what we had in mind, measured out our windows and walked us through all the options. The window coverings were delivered to our place 2 weeks after he measured our windows. Installation was just as excellent and quick, the new Blinds are a hit - perfectly sized and blend with the decor of the room! Now, our entire house looks fantastic! read more

As a military wife we have moved all over the U.S. and internationally. This must be the first time I had such a fun experience writing a review. I must say thankfully my husband trusts me and gives me a reasonable budget, but finding high quality window coverings that actually look great is always stressful. Until I found CoveringWindows Shutters, Blinds, Shades, Drapes and Curtains At our first consult I felt like I had a design partner, not a salesperson. They gave smart practical advice. Turns out they had like 20 years experience and helped me cover large windows and doors. They showed me options for app-controlled shades with timers, I bought four , they are rechargeable and fun to use. Their installer was professional and tidy. So let me say if you live in Ashburn, Leesburg, Reston, or anywhere in northern Virginia I would use these guys , I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Phenomenal! Don't know what I could add that hasn't already been said. We shopped around and got a few estimates to do all the windows on the mail level of our home and he beat all on the price. He was the only one that came to our home and made an estimate at our home, may I add, the very next day. With the other leading competitors I had to make all measurements, then go to a show room and after a salesperson provided a ballpark figure, only then would they send an expert to come take measurements and provide a final estimate. Kass was the only one I dealt with throughout the whole process and was present every step of the way. Not always being able to be at home with my family while work was being performed it was nice to know Kass was there and not a bunch of strangers. Rest assured, you can't go wrong here. Wish him all the best! read more

I recently replaced all of the windows in my home and I was looking for a company that could provide both blinds and fabric window treatments to enhance the home's interior. I chose Coveringwindows because they do all sorts of treatments, making it easier for me to tackle the project efficiently. I absolutely loved working with Kass. He came prepared to show me a wide selection of options, and he immediately got a sense of my personal tastes and preferences and made excellent suggestions regarding which sorts of treatments would work best throughout the house. I ended up ordering a mix of blinds, Roman shades and drapes. The items arrived according to the promised timeline and installation went very smoothly. From start to finish, this was a very pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this vendor. read more

After doing a lot of research among a number of window treatment companies, I came across Covering Windows on Yelp. The reviews were so fantastic I thought I should talk to Kass. He is man of the old school, a true professional who takes pride in his product, and stands behind his word. He knows decorating from many years in this business and helped me find a roman shade in a beautiful fabric that was perfect for my rooms. The price was so much better than anything else I'd been quoted that I felt blessed to have found his business. His service was also impeccable. He delivered on time, and is such a pleasant person it was a pleasure to do business with him. I wouldn't hesitate to order from him again, and you shouldn't, either. You won't find anything better at a better price. read more

I had always wanted to have shutters in my home, I love the looks of them and I think they don't lose light and are very functional. So when we moved here I shopped around and found that shutters might be too expensive for my budget. My co-worker told me that this company had a sale so I called then they came and measured the same day. Their price was actually 30% less than others and have the prettiest wood shutters I have ever seen. Sales person, Mr. Cass was so nice and helpful, he also came back for installation. I am so happy I found this company. I am not one to write reviews yet I was compelled to write this one because they actually exceeded my expectations. I recommended them to my Mom, she ordered blinds an draperies and was very happy also. read more
