Very polite & Knowledgeable over the phone. We scheduled an appointment. His tech team, Mike & Jeff, arrived right on time and helped me get everything situated. They knocked it out the park! It surpassed my expectations. They mounted 3 tv's for me in a couple hours. Definitely worth every penny if you're on the fence about hiring professionals versus doing it yourself. Jimmy was a man of his word... the price he quoted me, was the price I paid. No switch & bait tactics that u hear about in reviews from other vendors. I'll post the 3 tv's they did for me. The living room TV was a 77 inch tv with mount & wiring the cables through the walls so it looks clean. The other TV's were for my garage & home office. I can say that immediately you feel safe in his presence and it's very clear he cares about ensuring people are safe and FEEL safe in their homes. He is a former cop and it shows. He is someone with the experience and instincts to really understand safety and that was very apparent in our conversations. He's not a salesman - he's a security expert who knows what you need and is honest and direct. He didn't try to upsell me on excessive unnecessary items like other companies. He asked about my goals and truly sought to understand exactly what I wanted before giving his suggestions. I asked tons of questions which he answered thoroughly and patiently. The best part about the experience was he could instantly tell I was shaken up from a previous incident and was so compassionate while still being direct. He talked to me about how to keep myself safe in case of another break-in given the layout of the new house and improve overall house safety in other ways. He even noticed the doors weren't installed correctly and missing tiny parts that make a door super easy to kick in. You don't always get more bang for your buck and it's definitely much more expensive than a DIY Google Nest self install, but I will sleep better at night knowing I got the true expert advice I needed to keep myself and my home safe. Due to the permitting system in the area and the issues with the owner of the house I lease there may be issues with getting one feature but I am going very out of my way to find a way to get what he thinks I need. Post Alarm is very good at a few things: billing, raising their rates, and selling customers…read moreadditional products and services. Unfortunately, in my experience, they are considerably less effective at the thing that actually matters--properly handling an alarm activation. I have been a Post Alarm customer for many years, and I have repeatedly provided clear instructions about what should happen when an alarm is triggered. Yet when an actual activation occurs, those instructions do not seem to be followed in any consistent or logical way. They are also remarkably persistent about calling repeatedly in the middle of the night--even when they have specifically been instructed not to do so--sometimes apparently for no reason other than to "clear" something from their system. Getting call after call after call in the middle of the night without an actual emergency is not security; it is enormously disruptive. What has been most frustrating is the lack of accountability when these problems occur. There seems to be plenty of infrastructure devoted to billing, rate increases, and selling new services, but far less attention paid to making sure the monitoring service itself operates according to the customer's instructions. After many years as a customer, I find this extremely disappointing. A security company should inspire confidence when an alarm goes off. Instead, my experiences with actual alarm activations have too often been confusing, frustrating, and inconsistent with the instructions I have clearly provided.
