WONDERFUL experience! Lovely decor, friendly atmosphere, very clean and they have such a welcoming staff! I have a real phobia about going to new nail salons, but I asked a discerning friend about where she goes and she recommended Couture. When I arrived, the owners greeted me quickly and since I had an appointment, didn't wait at all. They also immediately offered me a beverage. I declined the wine in favor of water which was a fresh mini bottle. I hadn't had a pedicure in almost 6 months so my nail tech had a real challenge on his hands, but Sing, a charmingly entertaining man, made short work of my scruffy heels and scraggly toes! Wow! He did a great job on my dry and peeling feet-which I am delighted to report are now smooth as a baby's bottom-ha!!! They prep every pedicure basin with a fresh plastic liner, so you know you are safe from germs and fungus. I was totally confident that I'd be getting a hygienic pedicure and gel manicure as they truly are dedicated to providing professional and healthy nail care services. Another plus was how comfortable and friendly all the other clientele were-sometimes I've been to salons where the atmosphere is cool and stuffy-not so at Couture! My feet were dry and scaly, toes nails needed some trimming so I did a walk in a day before NYE. The manicure area was filled but no one was getting pedicures. One of the male employees offered me a chair and asked which service I planned to get. Went with the basic pedicure ($26) which includes heel and foot scrubbing to clean off dead skin, nail trimming and polishing. He was surprised I wanted a clear coat but I simply did not desire painted nails for the new year. Wish he had trimmed my nails a bit shorter since they grow so quickly but I did feel relief to have them done. They have put up plastic separators around the mani and pedicure areas to help battle covid which is appreciated. All done within less than 30 minutes and my feet were happy dancing into the new year with my pedicure. read more

I have been coming here for the deluxe pedicure and basic manicure for years. I have even brought friends along to chat and enjoy. Lately, though, I've noticed a decline in service and quality. Most of the regular polish colors are so old they keep using the polish thinner to make it stretch. I assume that most folks lately are going to places for gel, dip, acrylic, or other types of manicures. But it is disappointing to go in and see fewer colors, poorer quality. Recently, the manicurist snipped my skin on a toe causing me to bleed. She apologized but I shouldn't need to bandage my toe right after a visit here. The last three or four visits I have been disappointed with the quality of the work- patchy and uneven polish on toes and fingers. It's a convenient location but it's starting to look and feel dated and run down inside. I also noticed they seem to be paying less attention to using clean, sanitized tools--I could be wrong but it looks like they just pass around the same tools in a caddy. Decided to pamper myself after a long and exhausting week. I stumbled upon this cute salon after getting boba at Krave Tea and was very happy with my experience! Great service, friendly staff, and affordable prices! My mail tech was super sweet and did a great job. No cuts, or nicks and she even helped me pick out a color that matched what I wanted. The salon is clean and well-lit, with a decent amount of foot traffic so I'd recommend calling ahead to make an appointment. I got a regular mani and upgraded to the deluxe pedi, which included a scrub, foot massage, and hot towels. Such a treat! The total came out to $51 not including tips. First time getting my nails done here! I will definitely be coming back! My friend and I went after work this Friday. They were busy, but friendly and assured us we would be taken In a timely fashion! Both my friend and I had the manicure with gel nail polish for $30! Worth it! After the nails are complete they massage a great smelling lotion onto your arms and hands. The decor was beautiful and it didn't have a horrible smell like some places and the air conditioning was on! I went as a walk-in to get gel mani and regular pedicure. There was no wait so that was nice. The place itself was just ok. Floors were a bit dirty and the chairs look somewhat worn. While they had lots of color options available, it was disorganized and they couldn't find me a light lavender shade in OPI. They didn't have nail swatches for OPI and simply told me to look for a shade on the wall with the nail polish bottles. The lady who did my mani and pedi was pleasant but I don't really think she did a good job in terms of painting my nails. The application was streaky. It was a bit messy at the nail beds. I was truly incredulous when Couture Nail and Spa in the Hollieanna shopping center near the Publix in Winter Park refused to give us a refund when my daughter's gel nail came off after only one day. After the first nail fell off, my daughter checked the others, and they all peeled off easily. At other salons, the nails last for several weeks. We were offered an opportunity to have the nails redone but explained that we were literally on the way to the airport. The technician was actually VERY rude though they were clearly the ones in the wrong. They should have done the right thing and given us a refund. Went here right before Christmas with two of my coworkers, one of which is constantly raving about the girl who does her nails every time. First impression upon walking in the door was 1-wow, this place is busy. 2-very stylishly decorated. 3-very crowded reception area. Everything seems seriously clean, which is always a plus. It's pretty well lit, and like I mentioned, pretty stylishly decorated. My gripe about this place was mainly in regards to the girl who did my nails. I had a gel manicure from my normal place, and to remove gels, they take a file to your nail and file off the polish from your nail. She did it so much that it hurt... a lot. I went here last night after work with a girlfriend for a little TLC. I really enjoyed my experience thanks to a few good things, but there was only 1 (slightly serious) issue that I had. First off, let me say how clean everything is here! It was a pretty busy salon, but the salon is fairly big so it didn't feel crowded. Everything seemed very new there. The massage chairs where you get your pedicures done are amazing! But I think my favorite part was that they had HGTV playing, so I could live vicariously through haughty couples battling it out on "Love It or List It". I really liked my technician. She did a great job on my french pedicure and my feet were so soft after my Basic Pedicure. Since I'm a skater and I actually value the callouses on my feet, I really appreciated the fact that she asked me if I'd like her to exfoliate them off. Oh, and she gave me wine! My only complaint is that when she was doing my gel manicure, she was a little rough with trimming my cuticles. I was nipped two or three times, which was a little much. Other than that, my gel manicure looks beautiful and my toes are gorgeous! UPDATE: My gel manicure lasted so long with no chips that the only reason I had to go back was because it was three weeks later and my nails had grown out. This time, I opted for just a gel polish change which they did in one hour (I needed to soak the old polish off) and costs only $20. A week later, my nails are still chip free and looking great! I am very impressed with the job that they do, and although I normally do my own gel nails I am very happy to find this place for those times when I just don't have time to do them myself. read more

I was pretty disappointed in my manicure today. I have been to this location previously, when I lived closer to the area and always had a decent experience. I had to rush in to get a simple manicure to shorten my nails for work. The woman who did my nails was pleasant enough, but seemed very rushed. I didn't mind because I was in a rush as well. I went in to this salon to get a new set of acrylics when I couldn't drive up to my normal salon. The salon was pretty busy, but I was sat with a tech within 5 minutes. I explained what I wanted (almond shaped), and even showed the tech a picture. I had a feeling that I wasn't going to be getting what I wanted because she instantly tried to talk me into doing square nails (because they would "look better") and I was right. I wish she had just said that she wasn't great at that shape and let me wait for someone who could have done it, because that's clearly what the issue was. The acrylic was very sloppy, I left with random clumps of acrylic on my fingers and under the nails, and the extensions put on my thumb nails were too large and cracked within a few days. I definitely won't be returning. The only pro I can think of with this place is that they have a really great selection of polish colors and the place is pretty clean. read more

As far as standard nail salons go, this one is pretty good. There are a few main reasons I've made this my preferred nail place: 1. They always have HGTV playing. That might seem like a dumb reason, but the other two places I used to go either always had really sad movies or the news playing, and both are too depressing when you're trying to relax. HGTV is pretty neutral, and it is also easy to disengage from if you'd rather have a conversation or just zone out or read. 2. The nail techs are nice and not pushy. I've only ever had one girl suggest a different color than what I wanted, but she pointed out that a lighter color would last longer, and she was right. I've gone lighter the last few times I've gotten gel done there. 3. An effort is made to keep the place clean and nicely decorated, and they offer water, coffee, and wine. Though it's a standard fast turnover salon, I don't ever feel rushed. 4. They have a pretty good selection of colors. 5. It's right next to Publix, so you can go grab a snack afterward! I noticed a few posters said their polish lifted after just a few days. I find that how well my polishes stay really depends on how careful I am with my hands especially in the first week. If I wear gloves when I'm cleaning, especially when I do dishes, and if I keep my hands moisturized, my gel polish can hang on for at least three weeks. If I get lazy and do the dishes with bare hands and don't lotion up, I usually start to get lifting and peeling within the end of the first week. read more

I really enjoyed this nail salon and I found it by mistake.. Tim is really good with ingrown nails and acrylic gel nails! Mimi is very gentle and a sweetheart. She made sure I got everything I wanted cause I demand a lot. Tim has good conversation and kept me laughing cause I ask outrageous things cause he's Vietnamese & I'm Haitian so we talked about our cultural differences... I really enjoyed it. The worst! Save yourself the time, money and pain. Me and my guy friend went up there to get mani and pedis together. The tech literally burned the skin off his feet with the callus remover gel they use. I couldn't believe what was happening as she left the cream on too long and on the sensitive part of his skin around the toe area. She just sat there doing nothing as he's screaming in pain. As a licensed technician you're supposed to know what to do and what not to do. His feet were so burnt by the chemicals he could barely walk out. We had to stop and buy burn gel so he could walk. In the end they still wanted to charge him full price for the damage done. I, on the other hand, didn't see my botch job til I got home and discovered a huge callus of dry skin still left on the ball of my foot. How could you not see that?! I had to ask for her to rescrub my heels cuz they weren't done all the way. Never again will we ever go back there. My nail polish has popped off of every last nail only two days after going. The worst nail salon ever. Cheap product and bad workmanship. That's unacceptable. Save yourself the headache. There's plenty of other salons out there. read more

Good place to get your nails done. I went on a Tuesday at 5:30pm and they were packed. However I was in a pedi chair within minutes. They have lot of regular and gel colors and did a good job on my feet. My gel polish nails also look great. She did my cuticles a little too much for me, but I'll just ask for less next time. The prices seem about $5 higher than what I'm used to (but I just moved to Orlando, so it might be the going rate here). All in all, clean salon, fast friendly service...will be back. read more
