My inferior cousins steak and cheese. Notice dried cheese and brown lettuce. Not even fit to eat. Threw it away.

Usually cousins is my go to. This time instead of a warm steak and cheese with lettuce, tomatoes and onion, I received a plain cold steak and cheese. There was only lettuce and cheese on it. It was surely an old sandwich. The steak was cold and cheese dry and old. The lettuce on sandwich was brown. Shame to cousins for passing this inferior service and sandwich off thru the drive thru. My husband's club sandwich was good though.

Mmmmmm, lunchtime!

I do really enjoy this Wisconsin sandwhich chain quite a bit. For the most part you can take this review and apply it to many in the area. There are some "fake" Cousins Subs stores out there, and I will tell you why. The greatest sub they offer is the cheesesteak. It comes in a couple of different varieties, but the jist is the same. The key to the greatness of this delight is that it is grilled fresh (add hot onions for a bonus). The problem is that not all Cousins have grills. Thus having to make this sandwhich in a microwave.....no justice. So I only go to the ones that have grills, because that way I can get this awesome meal, and add some fries to that as well (also very good). If in my travels I chance across one of the "sleezy fake" Cousins without a grill, I pray that they are serving the chicken salad sub which ain't too shabby either. If they don't, I leave and just go hungry. This of course is just me and my opinion, but who am I to say.

I saw a picture of their breakfast burrito on social media and made plans to stop the next day. In addition to the breakfast burrito, which came with a side of hash browns, I ordered cheddar broccoli soup and was gifted a brownie for visiting. The breakfast burrito is build your own with a bunch of different options for meats, cheese, and veggies. I went with bacon, American cheese, and spinach and wasn't disappointed. The burrito was hefty and every one of the ingredients stood out. This is something I would definitely come back for. The three hash brown patties tasted as you'd expect and I appreciate that they weren't cold in the middle or bland. You can definitely notice the freshness in the soup. It was thick and used actual florets of broccoli, not just the stalks. Given the size of the burrito I had just eaten, though, I wish there was an option for a smaller portion of soup. The bowl was large and if you just plan on having that as a meal it's fine, but I would have preferred buying a cup as compared to a large bowl. Hopefully that's something they consider as a menu tweak. I'm not a big brownie person, but I enjoyed it. Like the burrito and the soup, it was a sizable portion, so worth the price if you're buying one. I'd be interested in trying their lemon bar or coffee cake on a future visit as those are more up my alley. I enjoyed talking to the woman who was prepping the dining area while I was there. She mentioned that Senor Luna's next door is their sister location and that Miss Daisy's has such early hours (currently 5am during the week) so as to cater to the nearby business park. I appreciate the early hours because I can easily make it there and back over to where I work in plenty of time.

The decor is unique with a funky woodsy theme that includes a taxidermy bear, fish tank and two inside tables. My service was friendly and fast. I would order the the north woods spicy Italian which is pepperoni, salami, bacon, tomato, red onion, fresh mozzarella pepper Jack cheese, mayo and giardiniera 9 inch at a premium price of $16. First off it actually measured over 10 inches, thank you SW. The sandwich looked good on sesame seed Italian bread which is the perfect bread for sandwiches. The side view looked great and they don't skimp on anything. The fresh toppings, meats etc were plentiful. The Italian bread was perfect because it was fresh with that slight chew in the crust and slightly dense to hold up to this messy sandwich and the generous mayo really makes this sandwich. My first bite was like WOW this is fu%king delicious and a more like a gourmet sub compared to the well known chains. I don't mind paying a premium price for something that is better than most sandwich shops. Overall I'm impressed with this sandwich quality and quantity vs taste. It's a 15 minute drive from me and I can see my self returning to sample Moore of the menu.

I'd also like if the bun wasn't cut all the way through to hold the sandwich together better- actually don't mind a messy sandwich... but my friend wasn't loving his falling apart. I do hope they survive- and maybe they'll rearrange to allow us to eat inside for a bite instead of eating in our car. Friendly service. When busy- people have to wait outside to order.

First time here…read more Food: I stopped in expecting to have a hot beverage and a pastry. There were lots of great food choices, including breakfast egg sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, soups, cookies, muffins, and other pastries. I decided on a Turtle Scone, and it was excellent. It had a great texture, was a good size, and had yummy chocolate frosting. The beverage selection was disappointing. There were only a couple of hot coffee choices, and some tea bags. No specialty drinks or lattes like some of their other locations offer. I ended up having water, which just isn't the way to enjoy a scone. Service: The person taking my order was efficient, but not especially friendly. When I commented on the limited hot-drink options, I got a shrug and silence. There didn't seem to be much interest or empathy. Atmosphere: The place is nicely laid out, and the menu board is easy to read. The pastries and cookies are displayed up front, making it easy to choose. There are several small tables where you can eat your selection, but the space seems designed more for takeout customers. I'd come back to pick up something to take home, but not really to dine in.

It can be ordered hot or cold and I chose hot. It was fantastic and better than most restaurants I've ever been for this sandwich. Layers of boars head corned beef with finely shredded cabbage, sauerkraut with just the right amount of cheese, and thousand Island dressing. The freshly made marble rye really hit perfectly. I love how they still sample their bread of the day slices with or without butter. The fresh focaccia is like a pillow of bread goodness! And their multigrain seeded breads are second to none. Highly recommend this place for any of your bakery or lunch places!

They're lying to anyone who purchases their food, thinking it is smoked. IT IS NOT SMOKED. I can't believe they're operating a restaurant like this. The manager made an effort to make things right for my family and me, and I appreciated that. Because of that, I decided to give the restaurant another chance, and the service was better overall. However, there was still a significant communication issue regarding the complimentary meals. Our waitress told us that the manager would be comping three meals, which was completely fine since I had brought my daughter with me this time. She asked who the three meals were for and pointed to my fiancé, my mom, and me. I confirmed that was correct. However, when we received the receipt, my mom's meal had been charged. My fiancé ended up paying for it, which I appreciated, but the situation was frustrating and could have easily been avoided with better communication. Unfortunately, we also had the same waitress who had served us during our previous visit. I understood that she was having her first day during our earlier experience, so I tried to be patient and give her another opportunity. This time, though, her attitude felt noticeably different, and I couldn't help but feel that it may have been because I had previously complained about the service. There were several issues during our meal the first time we came (the time before this last visit) We waited approximately 5-10 minutes for water, and my fiancé's pancakes arrived extremely late--he had already finished his main course by the time they were brought to the table. Unfortunately, the pancakes were also not good by the time they arrived. And my smoothie didn't come til I had to ask multiple times. I genuinely wanted to give this restaurant another chance because I still love the food, and I appreciate that the manager previously tried to make things right. However, between the repeated service issues, the lack of communication regarding the complimentary meals, and the uncomfortable experience with the waitress, I don't feel comfortable returning to this location. I will continue enjoying the food, but from now on, I will be visiting the West Allis location instead. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously, because the restaurant has great food, but the service and communication need significant improvement.
