Is this a fast food vendor, because this location typically fails to meet that descriptive criteria. It is not unusual to be left waiting for 30-45 minutes after ordering to get your sub. I called to order a pickup Cousin's Italian special @12:05p and was informed it would not be ready for pickup until 1:30p... When you get your order, the subs are typically very good. I used to be a huge fan of Cousins Subs. Honestly, I feel like I still am. But there is one issue. I am in no way a fan of the Thiensville location. This location has extremely disappointed me. From the awful service to the lack luster preparation of my food, I lost my love for this place. I went here as a kid everyday and it was fantastic. There must be new management today because it is just not the same. My food was cold, my sandwich had pieces of lettuce on it (which was not ordered) and my friend waited nearly 30 min for his food. All in all it was a disappointment to the company and I hope things will improve in the future. read more

Love this place, not just for the food but the owner, Bill, is so engaged with customers and employees, it's a pleasure seeing how nice and accommodating he is to everyone. I'm a diplomat, evacuated from Africa to Cedarburg due to COVID-19. Been so long since I had a Cousin's Italian Sub Sammy. This is the fourth or fifth time I've seen him take time with people. Worst experience. Workers were extremely rude and took forever to make one sub the most basic sub on the menu. The bread was hard. They spent most of the time just talking and hanging out and not even making subs and then said "they were busy" there were two others in the store that were waiting as well. They recently remodeled this Cousins plus its under new management, so if you had a bad experience here, I would urge you to try it again! Cousins is always my go-to sub place. The original italian bread is so good. If you like crusty bread...this is your heaven. No soggy bread like some other sub shops. I almost always get the ham and provolone and it never disappoints. read more

Plenty of parking and seating available. The dining room could use an update. The thing I don't really like about cousins is how long it takes them to make even the simplest sandwiches. 5 minutes to make a ham, cheese and mayo? What are they doing back there?? This location is very clean, has parking, and friendly staff. I can't say too much about a Cousin's yet this is my preferred location when I am in the area due to the above items. The staff is friendly and very quick with your order. There is always parking right in front with their signs reserved for Cousin's customers. Terrible service and slow. Staff is incapable of correctly processing others even when it's completely dead and sandwiches took forever and still were not made properly. Cousins in Thiensville does a great job. Try there Philadelphia Cheese Steak Sub,delicious! There Fried Cheese Curds are the best. I have never ordered any thing that dissapointed. read more

Outstanding. Better than the great food is the manager's refreshing personal approach to people, including his own employees. So refreshing to see a busy manager taking time out to calmly work with his people and engage with customers, thanking them for waiting and coming in. I'm an old-school Cousins patron, ordering the "hidden" off-menu Italian Cheese Steak that used to be on the menu. You can still get it. Coupled with a military discount, it's just a nice place in a nice community. read more

Stopped here while on my way home to Michigan for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. The subs were ready quickly, the Italian bread they were served on was crunchy in the outside and chewy on the inside and the service was polite and friendly. Easy to park and great food. Each sub shop has its own qualities but the subs here taste great. They take a little while to prepare but good/hot food takes a little time. I would choose Cousin's over subway 7 days a week, no contest. read more

Honestly we are big fans of cousins subs. They have the best bread and mayo. But the thiensville location is the WORST cousins subs we have ever been to. They don't put any care and love into their subs. if you're a fan of lettuce and mayo make sure to bring your own because our subs were definitely lacking. read more
