I stayed here with a group of 80 people on a field trip. The location is about a 15 min drive from the tourist attractions of St. Augustine. The hotel looks like it underwent some recent renovations. It was a good, no frills room-everything felt nice and new and clean. The bed was actually very comfortable, which was so important to me after a long day of sightseeing. The hotel provided a decent continental breakfast for our group-the usual fare of cereals, bagels, and juices plus pancakes, sausages, and scrambled eggs. Great hotel. I was here with a bunch of guys on a golf trip. Located in an area close to many golf courses and LPGA. The check in process was super easy. I only had one issue with the hotel credit for food which I used for a breakfast burrito. The clerk didn't know how to apply the credit so she ended up charging me twice. I was able to get this cleared up upon checkout. The room was very comfortable. They allowed us to hang out in the lobby area. I did use the fitness center once and let them know they needed to regulate the temperature since it seemed to be around 80F inside. Check out went well. read more

First day check in. Guy at desk was not very nice. I requested a room with a king size bed. When we checked in we were give a room with two queens. I was pissed but too tired to argue. AC in the room worked, but beds super uncomfortable. Pillows felt thin rags. Sheets and blankets were not soft or comfortable. Felt like I was covering up with rough paper! Terrible. Star bucks coffee bar you have to pay for is only option. Egg sandwich was terrible. It's definitely a one and done with this hotel for us. read more

Wife and I we taking my mom on a getaway my dad had just passed and we wanted to take her to FL to get away from all the stress and anxiety and rest. Our first stop was 2 nights here in Charleston wife and I had stayed before and it was nice, I made a reservation for 2 nights. We checked in around 1630 went to our room and it was cold 67 so I turned the heat up 72. We went to dinner and came back and the room was still cold, I called down to the desk told them what was wrong. They sent the engineer up he tells me oh you have to shut the bathroom doors it's sucking the heat out. Really, where'd they get this guy from? I don't think that's the issue there was no heat coming out of the vents. He turns the heat to as high as it could go says all the heat is staying in the ceiling and sucked out through the bathroom. He says I'll have to look at the unit once you're gone. That it will warm up, the next morning the room was at 69!...we went out for the day came back it was 67 I figured the censoring the room didn't register movement so the heat didn't come on. So I tried turning it back up it was as high as it would go already. So I went to go take a shower opened the curtain and the plastic panel on the wall was just hanging on by the silicone at the top edge I pushed on the wall and it moved in and out. I have a video I'll post then in the bottom left there was a crack piece out of the corner that was siliconed together. What kind of engineer would think this is ok for a repair? That room should have been shut down and repaired. When I checked out I told the lady that everything was terrible she said well I'll give you some points. The entire hotel is under construction. Massive noise throughout the day. It feels like they are drilling on your head. There should have been a heads up when checking in. I would have never booked it the reservation. I have small children who needed to sleep. read more

Room had no AC that worked. Called front desk who said they were already dealing with a customer at the front desk and that they'd call back. They called about 20min later and offered us a box fan, since they were "sold out " and had no other option for us. We got the fan. Met a few people on the elevator from our floor who said their rooms were also hot and they'd gotten fans too. Room never cooled down. Facility is dated, gnats swarm you at the pool, and the hot tub is luke warm only. read more

Stay somehere else, if possible. The room was not cleaned properly. Sticky brown spot on night table. I hope the linens were changed, as they appeared to be cleaned, however did not smell nice. Lighting should have been better. Did not eat there as the cost of the food was higher than it should have been for the location. read more

This is a very nice and convenient location for courtyard. It's slightly off I 95 and in a good area of town near the outlet mall. We were in town for an event and once we checked into our room, the sink in the bathroom was clogged up, and there was no soap or shampoo in the dispensers. I told called down to the front and I would say in less than 10 minute w Would e had the maintenance guy came in and unclog the sink and filled the dispensers. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. The hotel itself is nice with a decent fitness center and nice outdoor pool area to relax. Definitely if I'm in Saint Augustine. I'll probably stay at this location again. Highlyrecommend. read more

Provided a very pleasant one-night stay. Loved our room's high ceiling and muted, classy decor. Attractive lobby with a Starbucks -by-day-bar-by-night. Outdoors has pool, hot tub and fire pit areas. Friendly and helpful staff. Has airport style luggage trolleys vs the traditional bellman cart - found these much easier to maneuver. Even though this hotel is convenient and off the interstate, I would never recommend it. Especially room 305, when I pulled back the duvet, the sheets look like they've never been changed and in both mattresses you can see a huge divots in them (?!) anyone can clearly see the difference in the mattress so why would you subject your guests to bed mattresses that have been passed the point of worn down. At minimum flip the mattresses (smh) Use extreme caution with staying at hotels directly off the interstate! read more

Beautiful hotel away from all the crazy going in downtown St Augustine. The room was bright and cheery and decorated so nicely. There was a tiny fridge with no freezer, a microwave and a coffee machine. The coffee machine had your choice of decaf or caffeinated tea and coffee. The bathroom shower had great water pressure. Shampoo and soap were offered and bars of soap. There was no body lotion. The beds were medium soft and very comfortable. The air conditioner was the only thing that annoyed me. It was so loud. It worked great keeping the room cool but it just rattled all night long. Front desk staff were super nice and very helpful. There was also a indoor pool area and exercise room. Stopped here for one night on our way home. It's a great spot for a traveler. Right by the highway. You can zip right out in the morning and miss rush hour traffic. There are some restaurants nearby. Historic St. Augustine isn't a far drive away. We Ubered and the fare was about the same as parking downtown. The lobby is updated and pleasant. There's a small bar/Starbucks. The hours of operation are quite limited. Our room was clean with a comfortable bed. The front desk folks were wonderful. The facility only missed a five start rating because our window was very very dirty. That wouldn't stop me from recommending this Courtyard. We would go back. read more

Lots to say about this gem! I was nervous with the location being off the highway, but boy was I surprised! This location was perfect- everything was close by especially the beach and downtown. We didn't spend more than 15 minutes in the car. The hotel is very nice and clean. Our room was king size with a balcony- bed and pillows were very comfortable. I miss this place and I just left Florida this morning... I'm already looking forward to returning. Florida is amazing in itself, and then you put a great hotel like this in the mix and wham bam!! The location is perfect -only about 10 minutes from the downtown, marinas, historic sites, restaurants, etc. It's nice because you can sleep in a nice quiet hotel while enjoying a bit of luxury. From the time you enter the doors until the time you leave, you are treated like royalty. The staff do an amazing job of taking care of each and every need. They go out of their way to make you feel special. I also loved the hot tub, pool, and fitness room as well. My favorite thing about this place (I won't lie)... is the Bistro.... The food and beverage options are fantastic! And lucky for us, a gentleman named Jerry was working the nights we came down to relax at the Bistro. He is amazing. I wish I knew this guy's last name so we could send a thank you to the hotel and mention what a difference he makes in the ambiance of this hotel. It's rare to find such good staff who can make guests feel so comfortable. This guy works his buns off and yet takes the time to make meaningful conversation with the guests. Not just friendly....Outstanding. And most importantly, a realization for all.... It definitely says something about a hotel when guests leave from a week long vacation, having participated in numerous activities, but what they keep contemplating on is their amazing hotel experience. We found this Courtyard by Marriott on short notice after arriving at a filthy misrepresented vrbo, and because of this wonderful kind helpful staff and this IMMACULATE hotel, we will be loyal Marriott members for life. The GM Shannon and her staff went above and beyond the call of duty. (And in our four days here, we saw the kindness and high level of service by the entire staff was simply how they do business all the time.). They also have a lovely bistro with super comfortable furnishings, our food was gorgeous and fresh, a bar (yay), a great comfortable lounge area along with an immaculately clean pool and hot tub. If you need to stop on your way up or down I-95, this is a good option. Location is at the same exit as two outlet malls, 5 miles from World Golf Village, close to a Starbucks and just 6 miles to downtown St. Augustine giving easy access to the many restaurants there. The hotel is either new or newly renovated with all the features of the latest Marriott Courtyard. There is no complimentary breakfast but you can order what you like from the restaurant. The lobby is very large with a TV section and several areas to chill out. read more

What a perfect family hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very large and clean. We had. Microwave, coffee maker and mini fridge . The pool was late and heated and also had a hot tub which was a great late night essential for the kids. They had a nice fir pit which was perfect for the parents to have some drinks around. The lobby offers movies computers a Starbucks and other vending items including wine! Parking is plentiful and close! They also have a shuttle into town! An all around good choice! Great customer service here from check-in to the Bistro staff. Easy location to 95 without feeling or sounding like you're in the middle of a highway. Jennifer was very professional and accommodating. Woke up early and didn't realize the Bistro didn't open until 6:30am, yet Dee didn't even mention it and opened up shop without hesitation a half hour early for me. She was awesome. Their food is very, very good. Think hotel Panera. The only reason for a 4 and not 5 star review are the AC units are pretty noisy. Good sleepers will have no issue. Not really an issue though as I was able to get the room cool enough before bed and then just turn it off. read more

Stayed here for the night while making our way from Palm Beach, FL to Charleston, SC. The beds were super comfortable and the room was clean. The price was just right too - especially if you're traveling with seniors. We had a slight issue with our Marriott rewards card, however the woman at the front desk was able to help us. Great hotel in a great area for an affordable price. We had to drive up to Jacksonville to take care of some stuff but decided to stay a couple of days in St Augustine and check it out. This Courtyard was one of the better priced hotels we found. It's close to 95 and about a $7-9 uber ride to downtown. I would recommend just taking an uber downtown because parking there, at least on the weekend, was a complete nightmare and would end up costing you about the same as an uber. The hotel looks to be updated, very clean and the staff was friendly. The room we got was very spacious and everything seemed clean and well maintained. The bed was on the firmer side, but not bad, we didn't have any issues sleeping on it. They have a small cafe and Starbucks downstairs, although we did not try either. We prefer Dunkin and there's one right down the street from the hotel. Overall great hotel for the money if you are looking to visit St Augustine. read more

This hotel is dated. The air conditioners can keep up. The clerk allowed me to move but the second room was actually worse.It was 72 degrees when I got into the room and 3 hours later it is 74 degrees. The desk clerk just kept telling me to wait but nothing ever happened. Do not stay here it's not a Marriott quality hotel. read more

Friendliest and most helpful staff EVER. My daughter, 13 yr old granddaughter and I checkEd in about 8:30pm. The front desk, Shakeeta, was great! We went to our room. It was warm and humid. I went back to the front desk and told her. She and Kristen moved us to a cool room and offered me a box fan as I had told them I sleep with one at home. The room was clean and cool. The breakfast was super good and the ladies serving were super nice!!! we would definitely stay here again!!! read more

WOW! Simply loved this place. Great price for what you get. It's a BRAND NEW hotel, everything is new and clean. The decor is modern and refreshing. There is a [modern] asian theme running through the entire place. The front desk is updated and simple. The room we stayed in was very clean, neat, and looked new. The bathroom as well. Service was perfect. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The hotel is located one mile from the Outlets. It's right off of I-95 and it's very easy to get to downtown St. Augustine. Just ask the front desk, they'll give you a map and show you exactly how to get there. Didn't try out the pool or fitness center. They have a bistro open for breakfast and dinner. They serve Starbucks coffee. I really loved this Courtyard. $87 for one night. That is damn good if you ask me [at least for a NEW, CLEAN, and MODERN hotel]. Okay, I have stayed at Courtyards and many other brands for many years as a business traveler. I have to say that this place was very clean and I was impressed with the accommodation and room and staff. Why do I give it a 3*? 1. I don't like the expensive Bistro concept - they used to have an expensive buffet, but the Bistro is really expensive and while nothing was wrong with the food ... the McDonald next door was just as fine of an option. 2. They offer NO "free" always available coffee. Yes, they do "sell: Starbucks coffee for $3.00 a cup, but "no free coffe?" Come on.... read more

They saved us from what would have been a miserable night at the world golf renaissance (which smelled of mildew and PITIFUL air conditioning in the rooms...read the reviews on World Golf Renaissance at Augustine. The strong mildew odor is true stuff). We gave up on all hope at the golf resort around 11pm after being switched to 3 (mildew odored rooms) and headed to our new friends at Courtyard Marriott. The Courtyard Marriott employees were efficient, very professional, friendly and empathetic to our unfortunate adventure to their sister hotel. Very poor customer service! Poor privacy & safety. First I arrived and they gave me keys to the room. We opened the room and we noticed that the room was occupied by another person that was not there at that time, but I had access to their privacy. We went back to the front desk & all they said was that it was a minor mistake. All I said was "really". We got to a new room and we were convinced that we had full size beds but they said that they were queen. The next Morning we found a cockroach. We called the manager and what he said was that he will investigate the issues and asked what did I need. He asked if he could get us breakfast, really! Never staying here again. read more

I wasn't very impressed. Hotel staff or the "manager" was rude from the get-go. He asked if I had a mask as I politely stated that I was unable to wear one - and that I would avoid their "common areas" and be in my room for one night. Apparently having health conditions that limit my ability to wear a mask all of the time doesn't meet Marriotts policy.. Regardless, the two guests in front of me were assigned rooms at checkin - I was put on a waiting list.. likely because I refused to wear a mask. He noted this wasn't the case - I disagree. Upon entering my room, everything seemed okay. No issues. Went to use the pool area - "closed for repairs". This included the hot tub and fire pit area. Won't be returning to this location based on the poor attitude presented by the "manager" of the location. read more

Average at best. This isn't a bad hotel. It's reasonably quiet. Beds are ok. Food is okay. Tv worked sporadically as did the WiFi. Shower took a long time to warm up. Good free parking near freeway. I would have given another star if the price were $25 cheaper. You could certainly do worse than this place but it's nothing special. read more

They have the greatest customer service ever. Every morning the Barista is happy to great you and goes out of her way to start your day with a smile. The ladies at the front desk are so kind. I asked if they had an umbrella as she offered to get hers out of the car for me. Housekeeping has a smile on there face and and a pleasant complement. By far the nicest staff ever read more
