My silver challenger got wrongfully towed on 1/1/24 by ihop in south San Francisco and through courtesy towing . They both failed to verify that the white challenger that they wanted towed because people were sleeping in their parking lot got towed but no he towed mine and put dents , chipped paint , messed up weather stripping for window ,along with chips in my window . All from jimmying it to get into my cabin , and messed up my exhaust pipe from towing it . when I got there worker was on drugs and tried to blame IHop then when asked how it happened said he failed to get it verified on rather it was the right challenger and lied when he was reassuring me he took good care of of my car because he seen it was new and then when I got to car after this long ordeal he kept talking to me and distracted me at first from seeing what he did until I got home . mind you I was sick , pregnant and had two kids with me . one I just picked up from airport early in the morning and just wanted to feed everyone , not lose belongings, medicine, car (ride home) since from outta town , time and luggage. sucks I had it all on recording waiting for small claims court but the process was so long with getting estimates, finding where to file small claims since south San Fran going through city of San Mateo and calling both courts and during only certain times , along with waiting for advisor to call back, then driving out there for paperwork in long line and traffic back ,then having to ask both businesses to pay for damages and wait to give them time to respond, which was a bunch of talking to managers to get emails to the ones that deal with that , with no response. Then to mail paperwork and to get it all returned and half of it with water damage on it . To be told I need to go online to Cali. Secretary of State website to get agent names for both businesses. Then to see courtesy towing is closing . with worst thing possible happening kid locked me out of my iPhone 13 where you can't recover from a lockout without the latest update , which mine didn't get updated so lost the recordings . For my open and shut case , where both companies admitted they were at fault . so now hoping I get courtesy towing before they get out of paying me . hopefully my time stamp post on Facebook explaining what happened, ihop receipt and my unrelated witness testimony and corresponding texts and emails are enough proof to get paid by both companies for the $3,530.54 in damages and fix my car and all my time I was inconvenienced totaling $7,061.08 I'm owed . worst towing company ever !! read more

If i could rate this a negative number i would. be prepared to deal with the most inconsiderate & incompetent people you've ever met. i don't normally leave reviews but downloaded yelp because of how awful this experience has been. I started out by calling their number provided to see if they had my car or not conveniently the people who work in the office have no way to look & see if they are in possession of your car. they are only there to pass your message to the drivers, these messages also very conveniently get LOST - i called 5 times in the span of 4 hours trying to figure out if they had my car or not and NO ONE would give me a straight answer. whichever man works there literally hung up on me while i was speaking. Finally after calling for hours i told them i was going to come into their office with a cop or they can give me the address of the lot where my car is. they FINALLY give over the address for the lot and tell me it's going to be $450 (they had my car less than 6 hours)to get it back?!? THIS PLACE IS A SICK JOKE & there is a special place in HELL for this company. read more

From all the bad reviews, it's no wonder this place has an under the table contract with Stonestown. No one is using this towing company with their rude customer service, predatory, shady towing practices, and run-down towing trucks. They frequently tow people wrongfully and hold your car for ransom. It's companies like this, why towing should be illegal. Guess, it's no wonder that they have an under the table contract with Stonestown. There's someone in Stonestown who gets a cut of the cash, every time they tow someone. If i could give a zero start I would. Everyone at this place that is suppose to be a business is very rude and inconsiderate to any and ALL their customers. They continue to wrongfully tow and be extraordinarily rude when we are just trying to get the right information. I also watched them park a towed car and it was very reckless and they almost ran into a truck that was parked next to the gate. I'm sure a towing company doesn't care about their Yelp rating but after paying $870 to get my car out, I've contacted them 6 times to dispute an extra day storage charge of $85. No response from 3 voice mails and 3 emails. Left the voice mail with the owner, Traci, and still no response, despite the original attendant saying "Traci is very nice and will surely get back to you if you call her." Even though the amount is small, I plan to use all state/legal channels to dispute the charge and discredit this badly run company. read more

This tow truck driver from Courtesy Towing was very capable of doing his job. Instead he stalled, took about 20 pictures of my truck and went beyond the hour just to make more money. Very unprofessional especially from one business to another. read more
