I was very leary of purchasing pre-owned as I have heard so many horror car buying stories of shady salesman, selling faulty vehicles and lacking clarity about the true vehicle condition, so I started my research. It took me close to a month of research, before I found a preowned dealership that still honored integrity. I knew the cars I was interested in and found my way to Goldie's. I was working with another dealership, as I had been pre-approved, but let me tell you what made the difference.. the service at Goldie's ! Through text and email, John, my sales-friend, (I call him) was so relatable and communicative. Walking in I have to admit is pretty cool, in the show room they had a old school IMMACULATE Corvette, a skew ball machine, and arcade games it felt unlike any other dealership I had walked in. The owners son greeted me and asked if I needed anything and to let him know if I did! He was the sweetest teenager. When they say Goldie's is a family business they really mean it ! I was working with John and let me tell you he was so transparent and honest it was like a breath of fresh air. I had considered other vehicles they had but he talked me through the maintenance cost, resale value and common mechanical issues each of the cars I had considered. Once I settled on a vehicle he was able to check for me the maintenance records as well as reviewed the carfax report with me. When I took the car for a test drive he told me to take my time get to know the car and make sure it was right for me. I never felt pressured to purchase. I was having a horrible time in dealing with the insurance payout of my previous vehicle and John was very empathetic in understanding my situation. He had set expectations before I came that with the insurance payout being delayed I may not be able to take the vehicle the vehicle home. I was thrilled with the no pressure atmosphere, and just came to take a look at the vehicle in person, with zero expectation to buy. John and his manager worked magic. I did in fact decide to purchase my vehicle and was able to take it home, there is a small cosmetic issue that I requested to have repaired and he called immediately and got the approval to get it taken care of. I'll be returning later this week to have that completed. I'll keep you guys posted after the service appointment. I had a great experience and I feel I got a good deal on my vehicle and, I felt like my business was valued, my concerns were heard and they've made a lifelong customer out of me ! Special thanks to Goldie's and super special thanks to John!

The staff I worked with…read morewere helpful and I felt like they did a good job assisting me throughout the car-buying process. However, there were a couple of communication issues that made the experience more frustrating than it needed to be. I was told that I could come in on a Sunday and that my car would be ready for me to pick up. When the day and time came, I was told that the car wasn't ready because it still needed to go through its inspection before it could leave the lot. I had already arranged an Uber to get there, so having to cancel it was inconvenient and frustrating. Then, about a week after getting the car, I was told that the payment agreement I had originally been given needed to be increased because the contract had been read incorrectly. That was also frustrating because I felt like I should have been given the correct information from the beginning. Overall, I'd say my experience was okay. The people were helpful, but I think there needs to be better communication and accuracy when it comes to explaining the vehicle's readiness and the financing terms to customers.

I had never been to this location before. The entrance to the service area was confusing. I was already feeling frantic and didn't notice the arrows on the ground. I saw a car parked facing me, so I thought I was going the wrong way. Went to the other side and realized that was wrong. I finally found someone and asked where to pull up my car. It was almost 4:30pm. They close at 6pm. The guy said they typically don't take in any cars around then, otherwise they won't finish everything in time. But I think they were willing to squeeze me in because of the battery issue. The waiting area was decent. Sports on the TV. Coffee, water, and snacks were available. They finished my car just before 6pm. The service rep kept urging me to check if my battery still had a warranty, so that he wouldn't have to charge me. That was nice, but it was inconvenient to have to call a different Honda location to get the information since their systems are not connected. Turns out, the warranty already expired, so I had to pay anyway. I was just glad to get the issue resolved.

Made an appt for my first oil change and scheduled an appt to have my fan/blower checked because it doesn't blow at its maximum capacity consistently. Zack(or Zach) was my service tech. He said if its blowing normal when he checks it, there's nothing he can really do. Im not hearing some random noise. I was very specific. The fan doesn't blow consistently. He dismissed my issue before taking the car back to have the oil change. I was clear what the problem was and he said, "well, we can look at it." I asked, "why? You already said thare's nothing you can really do." I have been to the Tempe and Gilbert dealerships over the years and have had spectacular ssrvice. Everyone was kind and professional. My first time at Superstition and man oh man what a difference. I can believe the dealership allows their service techs to treat their customers like this while they represent Honda. Later, i went back to retrieve my car, he opens the door for me and said if the blower happens to act up, to just bring it in so they can look at it. I asked Zack, "what do you think this appt was for? Just the oil change? No. Im having issues with the blower." I reached over to close the door and for a quick second, he held his hand on my door and i told him to let go of my door so i can leave. He just had a smirk on his face the whole time. Where the hell did this guy come from? I hope Honda sends me a survey via email.
