All in all it's clean, cheap, good, and friendly -- so why waste your change on fast food when you can get food fast, homemade good, and with a water back? It's the most pit-stop worthy place on a long empty haul where the only other attraction is an old corn silo with a tree growing inside it -- we call it the "Hannibal Lecter tree" and a big funny billboard for the "Hoopston corn jerkers." I can honestly say she loved this one. After trying a bite myself, I agreed completely. It had a rich, beefy flavor, was moist throughout, and the ends had that perfect crunchy outer crust -- which is always the best part. We also ordered the Jalapeño Poppers. They had a nice crunchy exterior, and the pepper and cream cheese filling was creamy without being overcooked -- a solid appetizer choice.
