The email notifications could use some improvement--the scheduling link in the email went to the wrong system--but the scheduling link on the website worked perfectly fine. I didn't buy new frames this time since my prescription didn't change and I'm still happy with my current pair. They do have a wide selection of frames, and while many lean toward the expensive side, the quality looks good and there are plenty of nice options to choose from. Overall, a positive experience and I'll continue coming back.

It has become extremely difficult to schedule appointments with Dr. Hinkle or Dr. Boyle. After waiting weeks, we've arrived for appointments only to be told they were canceled without notice. Additionally, the front office staff is often rude and make simple questions feel like an inconvenience. The newer staff responsible for fitting glasses also do not seem to take the time to properly ensure a correct fit. This has been very disappointing given the level of care we experienced in the past. Unfortunately, today was the tipping point and we will not be back.

She listens and is personable with amazing bedside manner. The rating is not for her service, credentials, or expertise but for her front staff. These aspirational IG influencing ladies, are always rude and rushing. Two times I have had to tell her staff that I do not use medical insurance for any visits and had been billed once through my medical coverage and after countless calls, and emails, I was finally refunded my "out of pocket costs" for my annual visit. Not one apology offered for the indignant attitude given by the staff or for the erroneous mistake of billing the wrong insurance. After even walking the younger woman through my insurance copays and also providing their phone number to verify she still sent the bill to my insurance and charged me. Today the same scenario with a different aspirational influencer. Less resistance though and actually looked up my insurance and coverage but also I refused to provide my medical insurance. I'm sure had I provided it she would have taken the same lazy route as the other lady a year and a half ago - and billed the wrong insurance again.

We first came in yesterday to check out frames for my kid, and then we returned today. One thing…read morethat really stood out to us is that they were open on Sunday, while several other stores in One Loudoun were closed. (by the way, this store which is now located in One Loudoun Ashburn used to be in the Dulles town center mall in Sterling, and I did read all the negative reviews on Yelp about that location, but we decided to take a chance anyways.). The service was good, though we did have to wait about 25 minutes before an eye care advisor could sit down with us to price everything out. It took another 10 minutes to finish the pricing because of some system glitches on their end. The options ended up being pretty expensive, but we were still able to make a selection. Even though we couldn't apply the 40% discount because we used our insurance, they were able to give us a decent enough discount using a coupon lessening the blow. Both of the advisors who helped us were incredibly friendly and welcoming. This initial review is just for the frame selection and the ordering process. I will update it once we receive the actual glasses in a week or two. Update: although they said that the new pair of glasses would take up till 10 days, it arrived in four days and we had the new pair in our hands on Thursday - so far so good.
