I loved this cozy little family owned restaurant! Located in the heart of Redding, this place offers great food, reasonable prices , and some of the best service I've ever had. My server was Antonio. He was very personable and professional as well as a huge sweet heart. You can tell everyone there emits a genuine like for their job, which makes for a very enjoyable experience.

Order of Biscuits & Gravy. Ordered Broasted Chicken & Waffle.

Our first time at this restaurant. Our waiter Antonio was excellent! The restaurant was clean and inviting. Our meals were delicious!

AMAZING!! One of the best breakfast spots in Redding, I love the waffles here and get them every time.

Croissant Breakfast Sandwich

Had the croissant breakfast sandwich and it was delicious! The servers were all super sweet, and kept checking in to see if anything was needed. The restaurant itself doesn't look too flashy on the exterior but inside it's cute and homey.

Menu 11/8/22.

Walked in thinking about whether or not I was going to have a morning coffee with breakfast when we were welcomed warmly by a server carrying multiple cups and a fresh pot of coffee. 'Welcome! Two? How about this table by the window? Coffee for you both?' Well, YES! When greeted like that, how does one refuse??? Large menu with lots of delicious choices, but we settled on our "usual" diner selections. Hubby: bacon, eggs over medium, white toast and fries from the French. Me: bacon, eggs scrambled, pancakes. We were both happy with our choices. Portions were generous, food served hot, cakes from scratch, and bacon had meat, not just fat. I had also requested a dry buttermilk biscuit on the side because I haven't had a fresh, made from scratch, biscuit in a minute. That was the only miss. We both felt it was drier then should be, but I suppose that's why people drown the biscuits in gravy. Not a fan of that. Coffee was continually refreshed by any person who grabbed the pot, owner or servers. All were friendly and asked if we were 'still doing good', which we were. They obviously have a LOT of locals and the good food and friendly staff must be why. A nice breakfast with fair prices. Cheers!

Mindblowingly good boysenberry waffles!! Sometimes all you want is a good diner breakfast and this place checks all the boxes for that. Booth, table, or bar seating, a large menu with fun combos and good prices. Overall a great breakfast spot for that good old fashioned diner feel

Delicious food. Clean restaurant, superb customer service. Our server is excellent! I will come back to this restaurant. It is very clean , even the floors are so clean. I mean that as a compliment. Clean floors are impressive.

Smells like a nursing home! Stained, filthy upholstery! Had to reorder my eggs three times and they still didn't get them right!

Dope little breakfast diner with friendly service and solid food. We got both the norcal burrito…read moreand the breakfast tacos. The burrito was solid, but I'd HIGHLY recommend getting the breakfast tacos. Those were hella bomb. We also go the panko french toast, which I thought was decent. It was nothing special, just your standard french toast with panko breading, but still yummy. We went here on a Sunday morning around 1030ish and while it was a bit busy, definitely wasn't overcrowded and they had no problem with seating us promptly. There's plenty of parking as well, so that wasn't an issue. I'll definitely plan on coming back if I'm ever in the Redding area and wanting breakfast/brunch.

An egg omelette filled with meat, veggies and cheese, served with cottage potatoes and a biscuit bigger than a man's fist and their homemade jelly. My son had the Mt Shasta. A generous serving of scrambled eggs, mixed with ham, potatoes and cheese. Served with a pancake that was as big as a plate. He's a 17 year old and a big eater and could not finishe the whole thing. I had the Cortez with steak. Basically a bowl full of eggs mixed with corn tortillas (or Texas Migas) added steak that was amazingly tenders If you're in Redding this is the breakfast spot! We're talking about goi g back to try their burger!

When asking if they use tamari or gluten free soy sauce, she said she wasn't sure and pointed to a list of salad dressing options that were marked. Not their rice bowls toppings - heads up- it's regular soy sauce. Also since I was asking all the gluten free questions, it would have been nice to be informed that the tacos were also served on flour tortillas. Not the cashier or the menu indicated this. Luckily I do not have a severe allergy, or I'd be furious. Obviously this place is a bakery, so there's gluten everywhere. I'm not mad, honestly. Just a little disappointed. Any information is best. I got the chimichurri steak tacos, which are covered in chipotle aioli - I'd honestly rename them to be chipotle steak tacos. Get zero chimichurri, the aioli completely takes over. I do like the steak isn't tough though, so still get some points for the attempt. For me, and my gluten sensitivity, probably won't be back since there aren't many options that are actually gluten free.

Located in the Placer Heights Plaza, next to Starbucks. Same plaza as Holiday Market and CVS Pharmacy. We were seated immediately as they were not busy. The menu was a bit different than online. Our server came to take our order. He didn't introduce himself and seemed like he didn't want to be there. We decided on the fried green tomatoes, fried chicken sandwich and catfish po' boy. When the po' boy came out, we thought it was burnt! We didn't know the catfish will be blackened by default. We thought it will be fried since it is a po' boy. The options can be blackened or fried based on the menu online. We were not given those options by our server. They brought out the food but didnt provide utensils until minutes later. Fried green tomatoes: It was good. Fried perfectly. The dressing that was tossed with the side salad was super salty. Catfish po' boy: Fish was tender but super salty as well. Fried chicken sandwich: Pretty good sandwich. Chicken was huge. The fries was so soggy, not crispy at all. Also very greasy. We were a bit disappointed as we drove out of our way to try this place. Nice ambiance though. I felt I was a bit underdressed lol
