2 Eggs Any Style with Bacon

Good diner disguised as a local town restaurant. Service was excellent. Food was delivered quickly. We order eggs and grits, waffle and chicken and Cuban panini. The chicken with waffles tasted fine but the chicken did not look appealing. Grits were tasty and buttery. We will return.

Delicious food and quick service! My chicken parm panini was SO YUMMY, and the cole slaw was a fantastic accompaniment to the sandwich and fries.

They were short staffed due to Labor Day but still had great service and the pancakes and breakfast foods were amazing. I had the chocolate chip pancakes with whipped cream and strawberries, boyfriend had farmers breakfast.

A solid NJ diner. Staff is VERY friendly, food is consistently good, and prices are great.

For a local diner, this place is really the best. It's located in Warren Township, known to be an expensive town, yet the prices in the menu for most of the food is fair and you really get a large portion of food. Not only is the "diner" food cooked appropriately but it also tastes good, moist, flavorful, and not frozen or overly oily like other diners. They have simpler options for foods than other places. Like, for example, at an ihop, you'll get strawberry syrup and other modern alternative flavors for syrup, but here at Country Squire you'll get just the simple original maple syrup. Nothing fancy and most days, that should be enough for your appetite. My family loves coming here for the breakfast options. Their pancakes are huge and better than IHOP's. Not to mention they offer a large amount of Other entrees besides breakfast that are just as large or more in portion and delicious as well. We always go home with doggy bags, and have food for our next meal!

Two farm fresh eggs with bacon and whole wheat

It's 6:30AM. You need a place to eat and kill time before you have an interview up the road. For a New Yorker, you automatically look for a Dunkin Donuts or something, but not here in this area. Country Squire was open since 6AM, and they had coffee - and eggs...and coffee. I parked in the mini shopping center and upon walking in, opted to sit at the bar with some other local patrons. The waitress welcomed me with a smile, and there was the coffee in her hands. For $9.18, I got the farm fresh two eggs any style, so I got scrambled, with bacon and whole wheat buttered toast. Everything came out hot and nicely prepared. The meal overall wasn't the best breakfast I've ever had, but for stopping to try this last minute, it totally served its purpose. Cash or credit is welcome here friends. Oh, I was also called back for a second interview, so I will be stopping by again on Thursday; I think it brought me some luck.

(In town) there is no finer diner

The diner scene in NJ is robust and omnipresent. Good, bad, old and new... Gawdy to po-dunk... And while the menu items are nearly identical, they differ like snowflakes. How in the name of all that is fresh and wholesome in this world do they offer a smattering of every cuisine known to man 24hrs a day 365 days a year? Witchcraft? Teleportation? A complex network of freezers and microwaves? However possible, there is surely magic going on behind this particular ouzo curtain. Warren has had its influx of high end burger joints in the past 2 years. And the village squire out-grilles each and every competitor. Consistency and quality permeate here.... This place elevates the category "DINER".

If you are dining in, options are mostly breakfast (omelette, pancake, French toast) and sandwiches. The bread they use for the sandwiches is so good. Nuray's is an incredibly cozy cafe tucked into a strip mall. It's a bit hidden if you've never been, but just keep walking through the strip until you get to the end and there it is. I felt like I was walking into an adorable living room/kitchen, it's just a very welcoming space. I ordered the special of the day, the portobello mushroom panini ($15) and an oat milk latte. The panini was delicious! Cheesy with a great sauce and the mushrooms were soft and flavorful. I thought I'd only have room for half but ended up devouring the entire thing. It also came with a small and simple salad which was a nice bite to have on the side. I didn't love my latte too much as it wasn't very strong and would maybe stick with tea on my next visit. This was a great place to meet and chat before meetings. We took out our laptops to get a little work done (they do not have wifi so I don't recommend you plan to do that without a hotspot). For two sandwiches, two lattes and one hot cup of tea it came out to $60 after tax and tip. That is on the more expensive side, but I still am happy to have found a lovely lunch spot in the area.

The strongest parts of the meal were the cocktails and appetizers. I had the Crooked Smile with Don Julio reposado, blood orange, dry curaçao, lime, and ginger, and it was really good. We also tried the Goat Cheese Croquettes, Chicken Liver Mousse Toast, Black Pepper Calamari, and Spicy Maple Glazed Ribs. The apps were tasty and easily the best part of the meal. The entrees were more inconsistent. The Caesar salad was skimpy and oddly put together. I had to ask for more dressing, the chicken was sliced large and parked in one spot, and was bland af. I had to steal sauce from some of the apps to make it edible. My husband's Steakhouse Burger was cooked perfectly and juicy, but it was basically just a patty with cheese and no other toppings, and the cheese itself was pretty bland. Service was pleasant but not polished. We weren't asked about another round of drinks, water took a while, and simple menu questions got uncertain answers. I'd come back for cocktails, appetizers, and the vibe, especially with a group. For a full meal, Landmark didn't totally land.

It is a very nice restaurant; Large, but not overbearing. I could see going here either on date night, or with 2 more couples. Our server Patrick was fantastic from the beginning of the night, straight through to the end. He was friendly, and very efficient. Chef/owner Scott came out from the kitchen to greet us and other patrons, and was gracious to everyone. Onto the food. The Duck Tacos and Mussels were very tasty. I think I might put a call into Chef and have him make me a bottle of that Mussels sauce to take home with me. Then came the crisp Caesar Salad, which kept everything bright. To finish, we had the Black Cod and Duck Confit, both of which were very well balanced and cooked perfectly. Oh, and the Guava-glazed Brussels Sprouts were a perfect side. Next time, I want to try one or two of their desserts. All-in-all, we had a great experience, and the night was a success. Chef, see you soon. I might just bring a large mason jar for some sauce!..

The owner, Carolina, was warm and charming as was the waitress, Amira, who provided great service. We started with Argentine beef empanadas as a starter. For lunch I ordered the beef milanesa platter with French fries, while my wife had the chicken milanesa sandwich. Both dishes were generous in portion and full of flavor, just the kind of hearty, home-style fare I love from Argentine cafés. We also picked up a sandwich de miga to take home--a crustless ham and cheese sandwich that was simple, delicate, and satisfying. I'd rate both the meal and the sandwich an easy 8 out of 10. The café itself has a welcoming, local feel, and visiting on a weekday kept things peaceful. I learned they offer fresh Argentine pastries on weekends, which sounds like a perfect reason for a return visit soon. Patria Station Café is a great spot for authentic flavors, big portions, and a pleasant, laid-back experience.
