My husband and I absolutely love this restaurant in Prune"tuscany".aka Prunedale, California. it's the best! Housed in a nearly 60-year old red historic building with a front porch... conveniently located off of Highway 101, it's like stepping back in time when more families owned and worked in their restaurants and were friendly and kind. The breakfasts we have enjoyed there are great - my favorite is the veggie omelet with a whole wheat honey pancake which was great! The service was wonderful, too. Delicious Home Town eats run by friendly Home Town folks. Personally, I have never gotten beyond the "breakfast all-day" menu, but it's obvious that good food abounds here. The waitstaff is personable, efficient, with a little gorgeous thrown in. It's a local favorite and can often be crowded. read more

Only come here if you don't value your time in the least bit. It's a shame because the food was decent and the staff was friendly, but don't let the convenient location fool you, you'll be here for an hour minimum. Also was a little frustrated to watch parties that arrived significantly later than us receive their food 10 minutes before us. I didn't realize a scramble and a pancake took that long to make. Well we're back on the road now and we're full so 2 stars seems about right. read more

Stopped here on the way back from Monterey. Very inexpensive and food was great. It was busy but the servers were attentive and friendly.

I came here because I noticed there are always so many cars parked there, which can only mean it's a good place to eat. Anyway, walking in we were told we could sit any where which was kind of intimating because it was full of people and I didn't want to walk around to find a place to sit. Lol overall the food was good BUT service is horrible!!! Waited soooo long to get our food & some items were missing so we had to remind them we were still waiting on the rest of our food. I don't think waitress are assigned sections, they just help which ever table. Few tables were upset about the wait and some even walked out. So if you're starving this place may not be for you. Also, I noticed that there was only 3 people in the kitchen which is probably the reason why food takes so long. Once again, the food is good but not worth the wait. read more

This restaurant is not worth it. First of all they forgot to give us some of our food and second they put hot coffee in Styrofoam cups, are they trying to poison us! Wow. I've had lousy service from this place before but today we got a healthy dose of bad attitude too. They were busy-standard breakfast rush. But the broad who brought us silverware....she was full of really stinky customer service. Maybe someone can train her not to give flip remarks. Really sets the scene for a lousy day.
