Ariana's never disappoints. This is our go-to for weekend family breakfast. Be prepared to wait on Sundays for a table. The church crowd packs the place after service. It doesn't matter how long it's been since we've been in, they always recognize us. The service has always been on point, the food comes out fast and always delicious. Since I'm a creature of habit, I generally get the corned beef hash and eggs or the eggs benedict. 10/10 recommend for either. My girls switch it up at every visit and they've never been disappointed. The place is not much to look at and could definitely use some upgrades but don't let that stop you! read more

We came to Ariana's for breakfast today, my mom and I. It's self-seating, and one thing I immediately noticed was how clean the restroom was. I'm always impressed when a restaurant keeps their bathrooms really clean! We both ordered the morning special, number 2. The food came out quickly and the service was good. Our waitress mentioned a homemade salsa she wanted us to try, but unfortunately she forgot to bring it out. The breakfast itself was pretty simple and basic, so I can't say too much about the food, but everything was fine and my mom really enjoys coming here. Overall, good service and a clean, comfortable spot for breakfast. read more

Food was good, clean establishment. Service was fast and employees made us feel welcomed.

It's a typical Mexican breakfast spot, the food is decent, and prices are reasonable. Nothing particularly special about it, in my opinion.

TACOS are excellent. Remember that. My goodness this place is great! So my elderly mother took me here for brunch yesterday. I skipped right over the all inclusive breakfast specials and went right to the Mexican food. I've been in search of great Mexican food for a while, every since moving away from California and Colorado. Well, it's right here, in Salinas, CA at Ariana's Restaurant. I've never had better tacos in my lifetime. They were truly heaven on a plate and I only could eat so much, therefore I will be back before my trip ends to try every single taco on the menu and maybe a few other things. I here from my mom that the pancake breakfast with bacon and has browns that comes with coffee is really great too. BUT THE TACOS must be tried! read more

The chicken taco tastes like pure salt. The meat in the asada fries and the tri tip burrito has zero seasonings, with the latter tasting freezer burnt. Our server never checked on us. Maybe their non-Mexican food is better. read more

The food was fantastic. The service was exceptional. The atmosphere was down home comfortable. Highly recommend this place. We had breakfast but they had lunch on the menu which had lots of variety. read more

Service was amazing! Our server was great and kind and managed a busy morning well even though she was on her own. Food was super delicious! Felt like a home cooked meal machaca with eggs was yummy and my mom got the chile verde with eggs and the sauce was so tasty. Will definitely be back! read more

I visited for breakfast at approximately 9:30 am on a Sunday. Initially, the restaurant was pleasantly quiet, though it became busier as the morning progressed. The service throughout my visit was attentive and efficient.I ordered my steak medium rare, and it was prepared perfectly--tender, flavorful, and cooked to my exact preference. The eggs were satisfactory, though not particularly memorable. Unfortunately, the potatoes were overcooked and quite burnt, which detracted from the overall experience. read more

A couple weeks ago my mom and I stopped in to have a quick lunch as her and my dad came here often. It was a super hot day. We sat by the door. It was actually pretty comfortable and nice. We promptly ordered our food and it came out with decent time, it did take a little longer than expected as it wasn't too busy however, the food was really good. The server was very nice... the food gave home cooking for sure it was delicious I was kind of bummed that when I asked for a Coca-Cola , there was no soft drinks that day. Not a big deal but like I said it was a super hot day. It just sounded delicious. The food did take a little bit longer than I would've expected because they weren't too busy, but it was OK because like I said, everybody was nice and the food was really good. I would definitely be back to try some of their other options. Their breakfast looked delicious! read more

Unfortunately, our experience didn't live up to the reviews. The service was lacking from the start--we were never greeted and had to ask if we could sit at a table. I requested coffee, which never came until I asked again. My husband's soda was also forgotten, and when he asked for flour tortillas, he was served corn tortillas instead. The restaurant is very small and family-owned. The owner was actively talking with other tables but never approached ours, which was disappointing. Overall, ordering, receiving our food, and even getting the bill took a long time, and it felt like they could really use more help. As for the food, my husband said the menudo lacked flavor. My meal was okay, but nothing special. The beans tasted canned, and the potatoes seemed boiled then browned--very soft on the inside. We left feeling disappointed, especially since the reviews had set higher expectations. read more

Love there chilaquiles divorciados. Small and clean place. Very friendly. Service is well

Even though the place was packed on a Saturday morning at 10:30, we got a seat right away, took our order, and had a most delicious breakfast. The chicken fried steak is not to be missed! Even the salsa they brought was spectacular! Best breakfast I've had in a long time. When the owner came and brought the check, I told her we both rated the restaurant and food five stars. And she gave me a hug!unprecedented! Will definitely be back. read more

First time here and honestly disappointed from the high rating it does have. Service was horrible from the start, it was a busy morning, understandable. Hostess told us to sit wherever we liked. Waited awhile for the menu, once given the older man comes immediately asking if we knew what we wanted to order, mind you we just got the menu. Coffee tasted disgusting like dirt water not even flavored creamer could help. Food was good, but never got the check, had to go up to the register and ask. Do not recommend just from service alone. read more

11/6/25 9am. I just had breakfast in [Salinas at Ariana's. It was so good. Two pancakes, fluffy golden, beautiful tasting amazing, two big fat perfectly cooked sausage patties, two beautifully cooked over easy eggs and amazing coffee $16.99 out the door and worth every penny. I gave her a $20 tip. It was so good. Even the coffee was great! Service was perfect by the young lady who seen me enjoying my meal didn't bother to interrupt my moment lol thank you pray. Ambiance is simple and comforting. I'm from Oakland and I'll be back. read more

Definitely a local's place. Extremely casual decor, very loud, and average breakfast.

Food was fresh, service was great, and it was brought to our table very quickly. I definitely would return back to this establishment.

Alright here we go. I hadn't had a tostada is awhile so ordered 1 which was all I wanted...wait person explained that the "plate" came with 2 and rice and beans...so I said ok let's do it thinking my better half would like the other as she only ordered...a pancake..yeah. Getting straight to it, the rice was hard, I mean hard as in unchewable, which I noticed immediately cause my teeth were like whaooo buddy don't do that to us! The rice was not aromatic as I'm made today sometime and had that tomato sauce flavor. The beans were on the verge of..let's just say not good. The lettuce on the tostada was romaine lettuce which would have been fine substitute for iceberg. The problem i had was I was served the butt end of it which is generally hard white-yellowish and not the green leafy part...moving on to the tortillas. They were the store bought type which ok I guess but they were how do I say this. Not crunchy but rather mushy to bite into and they fell apart immediately after the one bite. That said I left all that was served on the plate and of course the waitress noticed and I said I was not that hungry after all bit she kept insisting that she wanted to know why I had not eaten any of the food...again I said and actually 4 and 5 times...but she kept insisting my opinion soooooo.....I let her have it...right???..I mean she asked me for the truth and I politely declined...anyway when she picked up her jaw from the floor...she took the charge off the bill...but I was willing to pay for the order...I don't know what you think but I would not serve that to anyone in my family and I'm the guy who cooks much less one of my guests..till the next one. read more

After horrible service 5 years ago, I finally gave in and was going to give them another try, well I was WRONG. Went in, sat down, a gentlemen came and gave us menu's, asked our drink choice (water), and never returned. He was too busy talking with two yoing ladies. He realized he left us there when another employee saw me going to see why no one was helping and told him hey you forgot your customers. At this time, is when we got up and left. Never again, not even in 5 years. I do NOT recommend this establishment. read more

Three stars for how friendly staff is and coffee was okay. One star for food. Ugh! Country Benedict was NOT good. Sausage tasted weird with odd texture and hollandaise was not smooth, too thick and flavorless. Kept tasting bay leaf. ??? Hash browns had the taste of bad and old fry oil. !!!!!!! They need to clean their fryer and change the oil!! Having trouble believing the high ratings on their reviews. ??? Why not get higher quality product and if so you might have a line out front. Better clean and paint your bathroom first though. read more

SERVICE: ok, BUT slooow when busy (eg wkends). Staff very gracious. One thin napkin provided for whole meal . . . give me a break! AMBIANCE: Simple, clean. FOOD: Nice selection of breakfast specials & Mexican options. Sausage was nothing special. Bacon was NOT crisp, but rather 'shoe leather' chewy! Eggs were definitely SMALL. Hash browns come as a small flattened 'log'. OVERALL: B+. read more

Im rounding up to 4 stars because they deserve more than 3. Came here at 11 on a Saturday. Walked in and grabbed a table with no wait. Drink orders and menus were promt and food order was shortly after. Very friendly service. 11.99 for a 6 oz NY steak and eggs was a great value. The country omelette was also generous for 10.99. The daily breakfast specials come with coffee and are a great deal. I've had the Chile Verde omelette and it was great. The flour tortillas were not though. I'll probably go with corn or toast next time. Corned beef hash is not made in house but that's not unusual. I'm not a fan of canned. Biscuits are not house made either and I don't recommend them if you are picky about a nice biscuit. Home fries were good with peppers and onions mixed in. House made salsa was great! I will definitely be back. read more
